Everything about this photo reeks of desperation; the purse, the rain, the bitter face, the book.

That is indeed “The Ghost Whisperer”, Jennifer Love Hewitt seen carrying around this book:

Jennifer, 32, is recently single after her split from Jarod Einsohn. There have been rumours that he dumped her via text message. The actress has also been in long-term relationships with Jamie Kennedy, Ross McCall and Carson Daly.

Now that she’s all alone, she’s mustering up her independence and trying to “hold her own”, as the book suggests she do. Most people who read self-help books tend to do so in the privacy of their own homes, but Jennifer shows her bravery by reading why men love bitches out in public.

Are these type of books as helpful and educational as they appear? This one seems a bit misogynistic to me. Being in control of your life and aggressive about the things you desire doesn’t make you a bitch. Hopefully, Jennifer Love Hewitt can figure that one out for herself.

Kim Kardashian and Others Feed the Homeless on Thanksgiving

It’s nice to know Kim Kardashian has just a tad of selflessness to her. She was spotted alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt and Zoe Saldana at The Los Angeles Mission feeding the homeless.

The event, hosted by veteran actor Kirk Douglas, served 3,000 pounds of turkey, 700 pounds of mashed potatoes and 600 pies to those in need.

Gossip Cop reports L.A. mayor Antonio Villaraigosa was also in attendance, giving back to those less fortunate.

“These people don’t have the meals that we do, so anything we can do to provide that for them, I’m very happy to do,” Kim said.

I sure hope Kim’s willingness to give back to the community is out of the kindness of her own heart, and not out of the pressure from her publicist to clean up her image.

Another star who’s trying to rid herself of recent controversies in the spotlight by volunteering is Lindsay Lohan. According to E!, the young actress spent Thanksgiving Eve volunteering for the Feeding America organization. She was joined with her mom and younger brother but we have yet to see any photographic evidence of this so-called charitable work.

Jamie Kennedy is getting a lot of “love” lately.

According to E! News, the actor has revealed that he and his Ghost Whisperer costar, Jennifer Love Hewitt, are indeed together.

“Yes, we are dating,” he confessed to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM show Friday, after initially dodging Ryan’s inquiries. “We’re more than dating, we’re more than in love.”

Kennedy continued to express his feelings by saying “We have an intense relationship” and “Here’s somebody that breathes life into you in a new way and makes you fuller, and that’s what she does to me.”

And the classy cheesiness kept on coming.

“She’s my Bella,” said Kennedy in reference to the movie Twilight. “I want to bite her neck, but I want her to live.”

Jennifer Love Hewitt has sparked rumours she is pregnant after posing for photographers in what looks like a maternity dress.

The ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ actress was out grocery shopping with actor boyfriend Ross McCall during Thanksgiving weekend and seemed to be sporting a sizeable bump.

Jennifer, 27, is seen with her hair in pigtails wearing a large white flowery dress which hangs almost to the floor, skimming over her apparent bump.

Meanwhile, Jack Black has claimed Jennifer once invited him back to her hotel room.

The ‘School of Rock’ actor said: “Jennifer Love Hewitt once said to me, ‘Let’s hang out, go to my room.’ I thought she meant her trailer, but I
realized she meant her hotel room! I didn’t capitalize on it, though.”
