When these two collaborate it’s pretty much guaranteed they’ll have you on your feet and On the Floor, their new hit Live It Up is no exception!!
Jennifer Lopez looks basically the same as she does in all her videos: impossibly bangin’ body, a behind that can only be described as a gift to mankind from the gods, and a better complexion than most twenty-year-olds I know. Pitbull makes a surprising, however brief, change to his usual appearance when he goes sunglass-free in the opening sequence, and I have to say, the eyes are a lot less creepy than I would have expected.
Needless to say, the video is exactly what you’d expect to see from these two. Hot girls, skimpy outfits, amazing dancing, and lots of shots of the beach. It may not be the most original and exciting video out there today, but it’s right on point with what fans of the two want. It’s like they say: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Before there was Katy Perry and Justin Bieber, there was a pre-Nipple Gate Janet Jackson and Shaggy. Yes folks, we’ll be taking you back to the good ol’ days of 2001.
Warning: the music you are about to hear is not exactly my favourite nor is it possibly yours, but they were all the shit at one point of another. Let’s face it: we probably all own the CDs and the songs will probably be stuck in your head all week. SorryNotSorry.
“It Wasn’t Me” By Shaggy
Not only was this song impossible to get out of your head, it’s about cheating and trying to lie your way out of it! Not cool, Shaggy! It stayed at number 1 for two weeks.
“Ms. Jackson” by OutKast
Actually, this is one song from 2001 that should have a permanent place in your favourite iTunes playlist.
Butterfly by CrazyTown
This song was huge and I’m guilty I liked it. Listening to it now makes me hate it. Does that ever happen to you?
I don’t know if I should be embarrassed or insanely proud that I know most of the cringe-worthy songs highlighted in this video that oh-so conveniently condenses 1999 into ten minutes. For example, I totally remember rocking out to Mambo No. 5 and Shania Twain’s “I Feel Like a Woman” (I was 8, okay?). But I also find myself going “damn, that’s a really good song” the longer I watch. TLC’s “Unpretty” and Mariah Carey’s “Heartbreaker feat. Jay Z” are one of the best songs ever.
There were a lot of ups and downs when it came to 1999. I mean, Pokémon Snap was possibly the worst idea for a video game but Sonic was amazing. Then there was 10 Things I Hate About You which, by the way, is still one of my favourite movies. AND FIGHT CLUB! Thank you, Brad Pitt for starring in Fight Club!
Ugh. Someone get me a time machine. Let me go back to the days of Backstreet Boys, bad haircuts and Pokémon!
Well, looks like the seemingly-ageless Jennifer Lopez has her bad days too. Taking over the cover of PEOPLE magazine, the 43-year-old singer/actress is apparently a little angry about her photo.
According to Page Six, Lopez think she the photo of her makes her look “old and haggard,” a source tells the site.
But despite claims that say she doesn’t like the photo, manager Benny Medina insists that there are no hard feelings. “Look at the pictures and read the story! We worked closely with the editors of PEOPLE and we are very pleased with cover photo and the results all around,” he said.
It’s only human to look your age as you get older and personally, I don’t think she looks old at all. In fact, JLo looks pretty fabulous and low-key here. I mean, at least she wasn’t overly photoshopped!!
Do you think this picture makes her look “old”?
Jennifer Lopez looks smokin’ in her new music video for “Goin’ In” featuring cameos from Flo Rida and Lil Jon. From her bedazzled lips, neon coloured outfits and tight fit abs, it’s evidently clear that there’s no aging for JLo — I just hope to look like her when I’m 43.
Two of my favourite scenes are when she’s covered by a vibrant, pink cape, surrounded by two white wolves. Another is where she takes it back to the whole “Jenny From The Block” look, proving to us that she still has those solid dance moves. The video has a great vibe overall, with tons of flashy lights.
The song features on her greatest hits album Dance Again…The Hits that hit shelves on Tuesday as well as the Step Up Revolution soundtrack, in theatres today!
Watch here:
After months of speculation, Jennifer Lopez is officially leaving ‘American Idol.’
Chatting with host Ryan Seacrest during his radio show on Friday, the singer, who served as a judge for Seasons 10 and 11, confirmed her departure just after fellow judge’s Steven Tyler’s announcement that he too, would be leaving the show as well.
“I really was dreading this phone call with you,” she told him. “I honestly feel like the time has come that I have to get back to doing the other things that I do that I’ve put kind of on hold because I love Idol so much.”
Lopez then continued by explaining how busy her life is and the many opportunities she still has. And seeing that she is also a mother of twins, she added, “Something has to give and that’s where I am right now.”
But fans of Lopez shouldn’t fret. While she may not be coming back, she tells Seacrest she’s always going to support the show.
“No matter what you guys need over there, I am always going to be there,” she said. “I don’t know if I can be there every single day, all the time, the way we’ve been doing it the past two years.”
While it’s sad to see her leave. JLo is a businesswoman and has other responsibilities.
That being said, who do you think should replace her on Idol?
As Fox gears up for Season 12 of American Idol, there’s lots of talk and speculation about who the new judge will be and who will be replaced.
Top speculations started off with fan fave and Idol alum, Adam Lambert who seems to be the perfect pick in my eyes. Not only does he have mad vocal skills, killer style and a very honest personality, he was also the runner up to Kris Allen on Season 8 and has a clear vision of what it was once like.
In a statement Adam responds, “Idol has an amazing history of introducing great musical talent, and I was very fortunate to have had the Idol stage play a big part in my career,” Lambert says. “If Idol wants to talk to me about judging, I’d be more than flattered to have that conversation.”
Miley Cyrus or Katy Perry would bring in the younger, modern crowd while Will.I.Am (who has been a past mentor on the show) and Fergie know everything there is to know about making catchy hits, both members of the popular band, The Black Eyed Peas.
With new competing shows such as Fox’s X-Factor and NBC’s The Voice, it would actually be refreshing to see someone new judging these upcoming singers and not have to hear the same feedback over and over. No offence dawg, I mean Randy Jackson. Let us know who’s your vote?
In the world of celebrity news, there’s no shortage of hits and misses. This week, Sarah Hyland gets personal in the latest Seventeen magazine and Lady Gaga wears another meat dress.
HIT: Sara Hyland talks kidney transplant with Seventeen Magazine

Sarah Hyland, a.k.a. Mila Kunis Jr., plays Modern Family’s Haley Dunphy so well, you’d think they’re the same person — you’d never guess she suffers from kidney dysplasia. The young starlet has been suffering from the disease since she was nine-years old, and recently received a kidney from her own father. Hyland is the kind of person young girls should look up to because of her strong work ethic and sense of self.
MISS: Justin Bieber apparently had a thing for Vanessa Hudgens, says an unreliable source

According to the National Inquirer, the two met on the set of Spring Breakers when the Biebs was visiting current fling Selena Gomez, and then yadda yadda yadda. Let’s be honest here: trusting the National Inquirer as a reputable source of “news” is like trusting Bristol Palin to be the voice of reason when it comes to the sanctity of marriage. You’ve got to be certifiable crazy to be do either.
HIT: Someone FINALLY writes an accurate bio for Kim Kardashian’s IMDb page

Kimmy K.’s cultural relevance boils down to her ass, a sex tape, and now Kanye West. So, it warms my black heart to see IMDb writer Jon C. Hopwood’s brutally honest profile — or roast if you will — of the reality star. Here’s a sample: “… Kardashian is possessed of [sic] photogenic good looks but is short of any other discernible talents outside of the bedroom.” IMDb has taken it down since, but you can still read it in full here.

Looks like The Wanted aren’t fans of Christina Aguilera.
In an interview with morning host Sarah Lee, the band talked about the singer and how they think her judgement isn’t so good.
The guys have performed on both American Idol and The Voice. On Idol, Max George jumped off the stage to give a little hug and a kiss to judge Jennifer Lopez.
When he was asked why he didn’t do that to Aguilera on The Voice, George replied, “She’s was bit scary, to be honest.”
Tom Parker, who failed to make the audition round on U.K’s “The X Factor” before joining The Wanted, also called her “a total bitch” and said she “wouldn’t even look at us.”
Turning back to George, who was asked what he was thinking when he jumped off the stage on Idol and kissed Lopez, he said: “Yeah well J-Lo’s hot. Christina’s nothing special so…”
Ouch! Well that’s gotta sting. This boy band really don’t censor anything!
Watch them discuss it here.

The full audio version of Jennifer Lopez’s single ‘Dance Again’ has FINALLY debuted on YouTube after weeks of sneak peaks and snippets of photos.
Featuring quick electro beats and rapid clapping, I get the feeling this song will be quite successful on the dance floor.
In the song, JLo sings, “Nobody knows what I’m feeling inside. I find it so stupid so why should I hide that I love to make love to you baby.”
Collaborating with Pitbull again (they last worked together on the terribly catchy “On the Floor”), I’d say this duo knows how to work together!
But, it sure seems to me that Pitbull collaborates with everyone. He’s pretty much in every song nowadays.
What do you think of the song?
Angelina Jolie’s right leg was one of the most interesting things at the Oscars on Sunday night. Well, that and J Lo’s nipple. Both of them now have their own Twitter feeds, though @AngiesRightLeg has over 33,000 followers to @JLosNipple’s weak 4900. Not that it’s a competition or anything.
And if you haven’t heard already, the new thing is legbombing. It’s all the rage.
Legbombing reminds me of Portlandia’s Put a Bird on It but this time with the provocative leg lamp from A Christmas Story. And you can really put Angie’s leg on anything to spiff it up: postcards, album covers, Tom Cruise. It doesn’t even have to be artistic at all. You can just plop it in, but you get bonus points for a cleverly crafted legbomb.
These album covers have all sneakily been legbombed by PopHunter.
The Beatles, Abbey Road
Adele, 21
Lana Del Rey, Born to Die
LMFAO, Sorry for Party Rockin

Everybody calm down. If Jennifer Lopez had a nip slip at the Oscars you are not going to see it. Immediately after presenting the Oscars for costume design and makeup with Cameron Diaz, Twitter erupted because of the two ladies’ strange behaviour.
Halfway through presenting, the two ladies turned their backs toward the cameras and started giggling. J Lo’s dress was very low cut so it’s possible she did a quick rearrangement. No word from the Academy, J Lo’s breasts or any legitimate person in America.
There’s a fine line between sampling a song and straight ripping off someone else’s artistic integrity. Imitation is recognized as the highest form of flattery – but at what point does it go too far?
Most recently, Madonna finally spoke out about her insane influence of Lady Gaga, with focus on ‘Born This Way‘ and it’s similarity with Madge’s 1989 hit ‘Express Yourself’. And in the spirit of that buzz – we’re delighted to bring you a little sampling, thirteen songs that famously ripped off others (and were pretty successful in their own right). Some of which dealt with court settlements and others were able to slip through the legal cracks. For those arguing that the likes of Hammer and Vanilla Ice had the right to sample – both were busted by the predecessors for their use. Ice even argued in an episode of VH1′s ‘Behind the Music’ that it was completely original and the sampling accusations were bogus.
Tell us what you think! Below are thirteen examples, first being the song that ripped off the following song:
Jennifer Lopez “On The Floor (Ft. Pitbull)” VS. Los Kjarkas “Lloranda se fue”
I’d like to think that as the years go by, we get better and better looking. We always evolve from an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan.
Just look at these before and after pictures of some of the hottest stars in Hollywood. They used to have bushy eyebrows, but now they have neatly threaded brows. They used to have frizzy hair, but now they have lucious long locks. They used to have a crooked nose, but now it’s thin and even due to many surgical procedures.
Oh No They Didn’t posted dozens of before and after shots and we’ve picked our favourite 10. Check them out.

Lindsay Lohan
Megan Fox

Amber Rose still looks the same.
Will.I.Am. overdoses on punctuation with the release of his music video for the song, “T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever’) By ‘hardest’, I’m sure Will means ‘suckiest’, because that’s what this video is. Take a look:
Will.I.Am, dressed as the white Power Ranger, keeps singing about how the beat is “so hard” in the introduction. We, the listeners, not oblivious to sexual innuendos.
J.Lo is never seen in the same fram as Will. She’s only featured in the animated posters randomly placed on the airplane runway. She keeps telling me I can go hard or I can go home. Yeah, I’d rather go home, Jenny, especially after seeing Mick Jagger placed in the center of the universe doing some of the most ridiculous dance moves I’ve seen in a long time.
Usually when Will.I.Am is alongside his Black Eyed Peas members, they produce really fun, energetic music videos. This solo effort, unfortunately, just makes me want to take a nap, for a really, really long time.
This leaves me wondering how Granda Al would react if he were to see this monstrosity. Granda Al, if you can remember, is the old man whose famous for his cute YouTube video of his reaction to Dubstep music. I somehow believe he’d have get the same impression.
You all know you loved Mashup-Germany’s mix of the best songs of the year.
Now, DJ McFly is bringing you a Billboard Hot 100 mash-up that will blow you mind, and your eardrums!
Chicago native DJ McFly’s mix samples every song which reached the Billboard Hot 100 Top 5 in January, February and March of this year. This includes Katy Perry’s “Firework” and “On The Floor” by Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull.
Not only does McFly mash-up the songs, but he also mixes up the video that’s really blowing up on YouTube. Have a listen, have a look. Cheers to a great year in music.
Although December hasn’t arrived, the search engine Bing (for those of you who don’t use Google) has unveiled it’s most searched celebrities of the year.
2011 was definitely the year of Bieber Fever as Justin comes in as the most searched person. Bing reports Kim Kardashian, who came in first last year, has now fallen in the number two spot. Jennifer Anniston is the third most searched celebrity this year.
Here is the full list from Bing:
1. Justin Bieber
2. Kim Kardashian
3. Jennifer Aniston
4. Lindsay Lohan
5. Jennifer Lopez
6. Britney Spears
7. Katy Perry
8. Megan Fox
9. Lady Gaga
10. Miley Cyrus
Having Lady Gaga on the bottom of the list is a little bit absurd. She’s had a stellar year of performances, controversies and awards. I expected her to reign at least higher than Megan Fox of all people.
It’s a bit surprising to see Jennifer Anniston beat out so many troubled headline-makers like Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears. But, I assume people were constantly curious of who Ms. Ex-Brad Pitt was dating next.
Justin Bieber appears the only male celeb on the list, while his girlfriend Selena Gomez is no where near.
We’re thankful for celebrities. Without them, we wouldn’t have much to write about on andPOP. We love all the shenanigans they get into, all the strange hookups and the inappropriate things they tweet about. But today is the one day we give them privacy with their loved ones and American stars celebrate Thanksgiving today.
Some even spoke with US Magazine and shared their holiday plans.
American Idol judg Jennifer Lopez says: “I’m just going be with my babies We’ll cook a turkey, which will be good, and then we’ll eat it!”
New Year’s Eve star John Dumel says: “There’s things I love to eat that my mom makes. She makes an incredible Thanksgiving dinner — she’s an incredible cook. She even makes food and freezes it for us when she comes out to visit. Fergie and I eat it for the next six months!”
Ms. George Clooney a.k.a. Stacey Keibler says: “I’m just looking forward to spending time with my friends and family. I’ll be eating a lot of food on Thanksgiving — I put gravy on everything on my plate! And I’ll be watching my Baltimore Ravens hopefully kick some butt on Thursday.”
Glee’s Jane Lynch says: “A lot of eating! We eat with friends. We like the basics, the good stuff — the turkey and all that. But our friends bring new and weird things to dinner. Last year someone brought a pork butt! And it was delicious! Shaking it up on Thanksgiving!”
Basically, come Friday or Saturday, we’re going to be playing the age old “Is It A Baby Or A Food Bump?” game a lot.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
In more music news, Will.I.Am is collaborating with to very unusual artists.
The former Black Eyed Peas member hooked up with Jennifer Lopez and Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger for a song called “T.H.E.” which stands for The Hardest Ever.
I’m not too sure why Will.I.Am loves to abbreviate everything. From albums to songs, E.I.A.A. (everything is annoyingly abbreviated).
It’s a really plain song that relies to heavily on computerized sounds. If you’re getting Mick Jagger involved with the song, it’s wiser to use actual instruments and not a MacBook Pro. Mick sounds like a washed up rockstar (which, I guess he is) and doesn’t bring anything innovative to the table. He just keeps repeating “you can go hard or you can go home”.
This song fails at going hard, so I except these three to just go home.
Listen to the song Perez Hilton posted below.

At an event like the American Music Awards, stars really want to stand out from one another. Some celebrities really clean up nicely and some just need to nicely fire their personal stylist. Here are the top 5 worst looks at the 2011 AMAz.
5. Kelly Clarkson has beautiful curves but by wearing such a bright sequined dress out of an 80′s movie, she looks much larger than she actually is.
4. Mary J. Blige is just reminding us what the definition of tacky is. Welcome to the jungle, baby.
3. Katy Perry is apparently colourblind and therefore looks like a walking ad for Pepto-Bismol.
2. Christina Aguilera may have the moves like Jagger but she has the wardrobe of a 19-year-old call girl. Next time, go up a size or two, Xtina!
1. Jennifer Lopex, Britney called. She wants her 2000 MTV Music Video Awards outfit back. Also, nobody’s into vajazzling anymore!
