Selena Gomez stole the show last night on Jay Leno, performing “Love You Like A Love Song.”

Selena tweeted after the show, “I just wanted to say Thank You to all who came out and supported the ‘We Own the Night Tour.’ Thank you all so much I had an amazing summer with you all. I love you.”

Selena also caught up with Simon Cowell who was also a guest last night.

We apoogize for overloading you with Snooki news and highlights, but this girl never ceases to amaze us. Snooki was on Jay Leno last night where she explained DTF (Down To F**K).

Watching her explain DTF to Jay Leno and Jeff Bridges was like watching her explain it to her Dad (who ironically was also in the audience). Snooki also brought some spectacular gifts for Jay and Jeff.

Jon Stewart’s ‘Daily Show’ Beats Jay Leno’s ‘Tonight Show’

Jay Leno certainly isn’t what he used to be. Remember when everyone liked Jay Leno? Remember when he was the unquestionable late night king? Well those days may have come to an end as Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show has beat Leno in the ratings.

According to the recent ratings, Stewart has beat Leno in some key viewer demos. Leno still has a larger audience overall, but Stewart dominated in the crucial “Adults 18-49″ demographic.

For 2011′s second quarter, Comedy Central is claiming Stewart’s show drew 1.295 million (compared to a ‘Tonight Show’ total of 1.292 million) in the advertiser-friendly demo of viewers between age 18-49.

And let’s also not forget that Stewart’s show is only available via an expensive cable package, while Leno is available to anybody with a TV and an antenna.

Could this be a sign of a new king of late night? Who do you watch, Leno or Stewart? Or are you a Conan fan?

Former ‘Girl Next Door’ Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett, who complained to E! News not long ago that she hadn’t received her invitation to Hugh Hefner’s wedding, has finally received her wedding invitation. Via email.

That’s right – the former girlfriend to Hef revealed on Jay Leno’s ‘The Tonight Show’ Thursday that she has finally received the wedding invite to Hef and Crystal Harris’ wedding. In case you’re wondering who Crystal Harris is, she is a blonde Playmate (shocking.)

“I hadn’t gotten my invitation yet,” the reality star said. “I was a little bit worried, so I put it out there into the universe—the media,” she admitted. “You know, sometimes you have to use being a celebrity sometimes, get things out there and be like, ‘Where’s my invitation? Wink-wink.’”

“I actually got an email from Hef right after that,” she added.

Jay Leno also happened to have a copy of the email – oh the magic of television!

“Dear Kendra,” it read. “We haven’t sent any ‘Save the Dates,’ but if you can’t make the planned wedding on June 18, we’ll just change the date. Do you think I’d consider getting married without you being there?!”

“Keep shaking your booty. I love you. See you soon. All best, Hef.”

How sweet. I wonder if the two previous Girl Next Doors (Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt) got invited as well. Who knows, but Kendra insists she is attending.

“Yeah, of course,” Kendra said when Jay asked if she’d be going.

“He’s really, really happy about it,” she had said earlier. “He’s where he wants to be in life and I’m happy for him…I’m glad he’s doing what he wants to do.”

I don’t see the point of Hef getting married, but whatever makes him happy. He’s gone his entire life being a player and I never would have pegged him to be the married type, yet there he goes shocking everyone once again. Hey – congrads!

Conan O’Brien Breaks All Ties with Jay Leno

That may sound like an obvious title considering Conan O’Brien has left NBC, but when asked by Larry King whether he’s spoken to Leno, he replied by saying, “No. … There’s nothing, really, for either of us to talk about.”

O’Brien also made it clear that he’s over the entire “Tonight Show” debacle at NBC, saying “I don’t want to think about it anymore.”

During a March interview on Larry King, Leno was asked if he felt Conan got screwed. Leno explained “Conan got screwed. I got screwed. This is TV. The reason show business pays a lot of money is so when you get screwed you’ve got something left over.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger Says No One Cares About Smoking Joints

Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared on Jay Leno last night where the discussion of the legalization of marijuana came up. Governor Schwarzenegger was very blunt (no pun intended), “No one cares if you smoke a joint or not.”

The conversation came up when Leno asked about Prop 19, which makes the penalty for smoking weed the equivalent of a speeding ticket. Governor Schwarzenegger also commented that Prop 19 was poorly written.

TMZ points out that Schwarzenegger has been a supporter of weed for decades. He famously puffed on a joint in the 1977 documentary, “Pumping Iron.”

Here is more sweet revenge for Conan O’Brien against his former colleagues at NBC and Jay Leno.

It was recently announced that Conan was nominated for an Emmy. Conan will be going up against “The Colbert Report,” “The Daily Show,” “Real Time With Bill Maher” and “Saturday Night Live” in the Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series category. Jay Leno was not nominated.

Interestingly, Conan’s own people submitted the work for nomination, while NBC submitted Jay for nomination, reports PopEater.

Conan’s new Late Night show starts on TBS in November. TBS has launched a campaign to nominate Conan for an Emmy. If he wins, undoubtedly he is going to make his new bosses at TBS very happy!

Maybe NBC made a mistake? Perhaps Jay Leno isn’t a sure ratings success? And maybe they should have given Conan O’Brien some more time to build the show?

With only six months back hosting “The Tonight Show,” the ratings have been very disappointing for Jay Leno, reports Variety. In the second quarter of this year, the average total audience declined from 5 million viewers last year to 4 million viewers. This is also notable considering Jay had a number of high profile guests, including President Barack Obama.

With that being said, Jay is still beating his arch nemesis David Letterman in the ratings. But with Conan O’Brien’s debut at TBS coming soon, and with so much public support for Conan, it maybe Conan O’Brien who has the last laugh.

‘American Idol’ Band Leader Upset He Was Snubbed – Now He’s Heading Over to Jay Leno

Former “American Idol” band leader Rickey Minor was upset he was basically “snubbed” on the season finale of the Fox show.

Minor has been the band leader for the past 6 years and is leaving “American Idol” to lead Jay Leno’s band on “The Tonight Show.”

Minor was upset after nobody recognized or acknowledged him during last night’s episode, reports TMZ. After taping, Rickey apparently started yelling at producers, explaining how insulted he was.

Initially he refused to attend the after party, however Randy Jackson was able to convince him to come. However there was obvious tension in the air.

NBC Calls Conan O’Brien A Liar

Conan O’Brien explained on his recent “60 Minutes” interview that his relationship with NBC became “toxic.” If there was any doubt of that before, it is definite now.

TMZ is reporting that NBC execs claim Conan was lying during the interview with Steve Kroft and misrepresented the facts. During the interview Conan explained that it was much cheaper to fire him than Jay Leno, however NBC assures the cost would have been about the same.

Another issue during the interview was whether NBC was losing money with O’Brien as the host.

Kroft: “They said that the — for the first time in history, ‘The Tonight Show’ was losing money.”

Conan: “I don’t see how that’s, I honestly don’t see how that’s possible. It’s really not possible. It isn’t possible.”

NBC execs explain that the show would have lost $5 Million in the first year if Conan remained as a host.

So the controversy continues. Isn’t fun watching rich guys fight?

If you haven’t heard yet, Conan O’Brien will be interviewed tomorrow night on “60 Minutes.”

During the interview Conan discusses how the NBC debacle unfolded, and how he lost “The Tonight Show.” Conan O’Brien says he wouldn’t have done what Jay Leno did to him — and that there was nothing NBC could have done to repair his relationship with the network.

Conan recently announced that he has signed on with TBS to host a late night talk show. Conan will be joined by comedian George Lopez who will have his show follow Conan’s.

The full interview plays Sunday night on “60 Minutes.”

Conan O’Brien Talks About Jay Leno During Upcoming ’60 Minutes’ Interview

If you can’t wait for Conan O’Brien’s debut on TBS, here is something to tide you over. The late night comedian will be appearing on 60 Minutes in his first televised interview since his late night dethroning.

“He went and took that show back and I think in a similar situation, if roles had been reversed, I know – I know me, I wouldn’t have done that,” O’Brien, says in the interview scheduled to air on ’60 Minutes’ on Sunday.

“If I had surrendered ‘The Tonight Show’ and handed it over to somebody publicly and wished them well — and then … six months later,” he added. “But that’s me, you know. Everyone’s got their own, you know, way of doing things.”

O’Brien eventually left NBC thinking “this relationship is going be toxic and maybe we just need to go our separate ways.” He is set to host a talk show on TBS following his comedy tour.

Kevin Eubanks Says Goodbye to ‘Tonight Show’ and Jay Leno

Kevin Eubanks really is a saint and a loyal guy. Every time one of Jay Leno’s jokes bomb, there is Kevin to fake laugh. What a guy.

Well Kevin has had enough. Although rumors had been flying, the musician confirmed he is calling it quits from “The Tonight Show.”

“After 18 years, I just need a change of pace and see what else is going on,” Eubanks said. Back in February, NBC confirmed that Eubanks was ready leave.

“But it’s a really difficult decision because this has become my second home, as it has been for the band, and I love the audience and the American people really love the show and it’s been a wonderful experience to be here,” he added.

“It has been a pleasure,” Leno said. “You’ve been a great friend and really supportive. When those jokes die, I gotta look to you man.”

“I thought about this and it wasn’t that difficult,” replied Eubanks. ” After 18 years of playing America in to commercials, I’m gonna go somewhere where I can finish a song.”

Conan O’Brien Is Coming Back to TV – But on TBS

Conan O’Brien is coming back to TV, but not with Fox as everyone assumed. No Coco will be heading over to Atlanta based TBS, reports TVGuide.com.

“In three months I’ve gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theaters, and now I’m headed to basic cable,” O’Brien said in a statement. “My plan is working perfectly.”

O’Brien also tweeted: “The good news: I will be doing a show on TBS starting in November! The bad news: I’ll be playing Rudy on the all new Cosby Show.”

The show is not currently titled but will air Monday-Thursday evenings followed by George Lopez’s “Lopez Tonight.” The program is rumored to debut November at 11/10c after the World Series. Having Conan certainly raises the profile of TBS which is generally considered a second or third string player.

Things are certainly going right for teen sensation Justin Bieber. He has the #1 album in the country, every teenage girl loves him, and he has amassed a huge online following. However what would have happened if Usher hadn’t found the Canadian singer in Stratford, Ontario? Bieber says he would have become a car mechanic.

“I always wanted to be a car mechanic,” the 16-year-old told Jay Leno on Thursday’s edition of “The Tonight Show.” And Justin can actually drive a car, having hit the legal driving age last month. “I got a Range Rover,” he said. “It’s my first car. I don’t want to get too flashy.”

Bieber also explains how he was discovered by Usher.

“I started posting videos online and I just started getting bigger and bigger,” he laughed. “I got found by this manager who introduced me to Justin Timberlake and Usher, who both wanted to sign me. So we ended up in that war. Actually what happened was we went to Vegas. It was Usher and Justin — they got in the ring. Justin lost. He got knocked out.”

Jay Leno Reclaims Old Position at NBC’s “Tonight Show”

Jay Leno has been missing from TV screens across the world for just over three weeks now. And Monday, he will reappeared, reports the CBC.

Nine-teen days ago, NBC cancelled Leno’s own prime-time show. It has also been nine months since Leno has given up his position at the “Tonight Show,” to Conan O’Brien. But now, Leno is back to reclaim his old position on the “Tonight Show.”

Since Leno is back, the late-night war once again begins with CBS opponent David Letterman. Letterman dominated the ratings during O’Brien’s brief appearance as the “Tonight Show” host.

But, Leno ruled the late night for much of the 17 years he was with the “Tonight Show,” and NBC is hoping that he will be comfortable in his desk chair, once again.

Handicappers are already wondering if Leno can recapture the same momentum he used to have on the show. It will be hard for Leno to do so since he left last May in favour of O’Brien and was just so recently cancelled by NBC.

As for O’Brien, he could possibly be placed on the FOX network, where he would enter in the late-night war with Letterman and Leno.

NBC now needs something to new to brag about, with the Winter Olympics now in the past. Leno, once again hosting the “Tonight Show” might just do the trick.

Leno’s guests included Jamie Foxx, Olympic gold medal skier Lindsey Vonn and singer-songwriter Brad Paisley. Letterman will battle back with Bill Murray and rap star Ludacris.

Jay Leno Tells Oprah he’s ‘Embarrassed’

Jay Leno is “embarrassed.” The late night comedian appeared on Oprah to talk about the late night controversy at NBC. Jay told Oprah, “Anything they did would have been better than this,” which took place on the set of his current show. “Anything. Anything they did. If they’d come in and shot everybody, I mean, it would have been people murdered, but at least it would have been a two-day story. Yes, NBC could not have handled it worse, from 2004 onward. This whole thing was a huge, huge mess.”

We can understand his feelings considering the guy has really been pulled through the gutter over the past couple of months. Being accused of stealing The Tonight Show from fellow comedian Conan O’Brien cannot be easy, however don’t feel too bad for him. At the end of the day at andPOP we are CoCo fans forever.

Conan O’Brien Bows Out Gracefully

On his final show Friday, The Tonight Show host Conan O’Brien thanked NBC for the 20 years he spent on the network, reports E! News.

“The terms of my settlement say that I can’t host another show for seven months,” O’Brien said. “So next week, look forward to the Andy Richter Show with his sidekick, me!”

Jay Leno will be returning next week to host the show.

Oprah Winfrey is interviewing Leno in Los Angeles for her Thursday show and has invited O’Brien to participate. It has not been reported whether he will accept her offer.

“As I set off for exciting new career opportunities, I just want to make one things clear to everyone listening out there: I will do nudity,” he said in his final monologue.

Steve Carell interviewed the exiting host, who then shared a diet cream soda toast with Tom Hanks.

“Yes, we have our differences right now, and yes, we’re going to go our separate ways,” said O’Brien in his address to the network. “But this company has been my home for most of my adult life. I am enormously proud of the work we have done together, and I want to thank NBC for making it all possible. Making this choice has been enormously difficult. This is the best job in the world. I absolutely love doing it and I have the best staff and crew in the history of the medium. But despite this sense of loss, I really feel this should be a happy moment. Every comedian dreams of hosting The Tonight Show and, for seven months, I got to. I did it my way, with people I love, and I do not regret a second. I’ve had more good fortune than anyone I know and if our next gig is doing a show in a 7-11 parking lot, we’ll find a way to make it fun.”

He spent the last moments of the show jamming on the guitar with Will Ferrell taking the lead on “Free Bird.”

President Barack Obama still likes Jay Leno

Jay Leno has had it tough over the past month. Not only are audiences rooting against him, his fellow entertainers and late night hosts aren’t backing him. With his popularity at an all time low, the fact that he is emceeing this year’s White House Correspondents Association dinner is kind of strange. Well maybe not completely?

It appears that The White House chose Jay Leno to host the dinner before the NBC debacle got heated. Also Jay is qualified for the job. He has hosted the dinner three times before and you can always depend on him to put on a relatively safe show. So at least Leno has Obama on his team, which maybe not all that bad.

Conan O’Brien Reruns?

So as everyone knows Conan O’Brien was able to negotiate a $45 Million settlement with NBC, his staff will be taken care of with severance and that his last show will be Friday. Or is it? TMZ is reporting that we haven’t seen the last of Conan on the Peacock Network as NBC will be running reruns.

Apparently NBC executives don’t like the idea of introducing a new host only a few weeks before the Olympics. So NBC will be going through the vaults and picking (in their opinion) the best Conan episodes. Maybe Conan will have the last laugh after all?
