And once again, the Smiths are the cutest/best family in the world!
At the Graham Norton show to promote their new film After Earth, father-son duo Will and Jaden Smith did a fun impromptu performance that featured some freestyling from Jaden…and wait for it…ANOTHER performance of the Fresh Prince theme song!
But that’s not all. Alfonso Ribeiro (aka Carlton) and DJ Jazzy Jeff joined in for ONE EPIC REUNION.
The only thing that could have made this better was if Bradley Cooper (sitting at the back) joined in with some hip thrusts.
But alas, one can only handle so much.
Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith has finally released the music video for his single “Shakespeare,” a song that came out last summer. The 14-year old’s creative new music video was directed by his good friend and former Hannah Montana star Moises Arias.
Smith was pretty excited about the music video’s release as he counted the hours down on Twitter with his fans.
Smith can rap better than stars double his age. The Smith family just might be the most musical family in Hollywood.

When it comes to hip hop covers, often than not you’re left thinking “why would they even attempt covering THAT song!?” But then there are those that cause you to begin dancing around your room with excitement.
But what’s most surprising is when those covers are done by non-hip hop artists. I don’t know if it’s the initial shock of “oh my god, this actually sounds good,” or the weird juxtaposition of when the song is done in another genre entirely. The bottom line, though, is that they’re good and all we want to do is listen to them.
Here are 10 of the best hip hop covers from non-hip hop artists.
Ed Sheeran and Passenger — “No Diggity / Thrift Shop”
A pretty recent cover comes from music’s most soulful ginger, Ed Sheeran, who teamed up with Passenger’s Mike Rosenberg during a recent visit to Australian radio to give us an amazing mash up of Blackstreet’s 90′s hit “No Diggity” and Macklemore’s “Thrift Shop.”
Ed Sheeran — “Empire State of Mind”
Ed Sheeran makes another appearance on this list with his cover of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ “Empire State” of Mind for BBC Radio 1. Ed can do no wrong, so it’s no surprise that this cover (like everything he does) is nothing short of perfection.

In the world of celebrity news, there’s no shortage of hits and misses. This week, T-Swift gets feisty, Justin Bieber upsets fans, and bffs Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore get their tan on.
HIT: Kylie Jenner and Jaden Smith Hang Out
Could this be the beginning stages of puppy love? Kylie Jenner and Jaden Smith have been friends for a while but according to a source who revealed to Us Weekly, the two are dating! The young stars were most recently spotted together on a lunch date at Caffe Nero in London’s famous Piccadilly Square on Sunday, Jaden was in town to celebrate Justin Bieber’s 19th birthday.
MISS: T-Swift Disses Tina Fey and Amy Poehler
Come on Taylor, can’t you take a joke? Let’s be real here, If you’re a celebrity who’s recently made some headlines and you’re attending the Golden Globes that happen to be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, prepare to be made fun of.
Swift, who is known to test the waters so to speak, was the subject of a Fey-Poehler joke during the Globes. The duo said that Swift should keep her hands off of Michael J. Fox’s son, Sam, the night’s Mr. Golden Globes. Taylor was not impressed… I guess the wounds are still fresh because who could forget Swift’s split from One Directioner, Harry Styles.
In a new interview with Vanity Fair Tay-tay had some words of her own. While on the topic of mean girls, Swift said, ”You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved that said, ‘There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.’”
Fey spoke to Us Weekly. “It was just a joke, and I think it was actually a very benign joke.” Poehler also commented, she told the Hollywood Reporter, ”…I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl, that being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff.”
I think I need to arrange a group hug for these three.

Sarah Hyland
What she’s wearing: The Modern Family actress showed up to the 6th Annual Power of Youth Event in Los Angeles, California in a floral Zimmermann dress.
Why we love it: The draping on the bottom half takes this floral dress to the next level since it adds a contrasting texture to the look. The draping technique continues to the back of the dress making for a pleasant surprise when Hyland turns around — it goes from sweet floral dress to a total knockout stunner! She paired it with Brian Atwood shoes in a cobalt colour and a matching Kotur clutch that both bring out the blues in the dress.
Takeaway: Pick a floral dress with interesting design elements instead of just basing your choice on the print itself. If you took away the print from this dress and remade it into a solid fabric, the dress would still be hot.
Kate Middleton
What she’s wearing: The Duchess of Cambridge arrived in the Solomon Islands in a bright geometric Jonathan Saunders dress during her royal tour of Southeast Asia.
Why we love it: If only everybody looked like this while getting off a plane! Then again, there’s usually not a red carpet waiting for you on the tarmac when you get off. We’re suckers for bold geometric prints and this dress has that in spades! Plus it’s in a unique colour combination of aqua, forest-green, and white, which makes it stand out and makes it fun. She accents the look with cream accessories: the heels, the clutch and hat (the Brits sure do love a good hat!).
Takeaway: When wearing bold prints, accessorize with neutral items to minimize the in-your-face quality of the bold print. The neutral accessories will really let the print stand out.

“I Will Wait” — Mumford & Sons
If you’re looking for a new song to add to that lay-in-bed-stare-at-the-ceiling-and-dream-about-my-crush playlist, look no further! English folk rockers Mumford & Sons’ new single “I Will Wait” is a bluegrass, banjo-y track filled with soft harmonies and earnest vocals that will cut straight to your heart. Ah, if only my (nonexistent) boyfriend would write music like this and sing it to me…and maybe bring me flowers every night, new jewelry once in a while, and look like Ryan Gosling. Pick up Mumford & Sons’ second album Babel on Sept. 24.
“Glow” — Mac Miller ft. Pharell
Mac Miller and Pharell Williams get glossy in their new track “Glow,” off the two artists’ upcoming EP Pink Slime. The duo released “Onaroll” back in June, and it would appear that Mac Millions and Skateboard P are a collaborative force to be reckoned with. Backed by ethnic-inspired violins, and a hyper beat, the boys lay down their rhymes, sounding confident and smooth. Sidenote: Mac Miller manages to yell “Mother f**ker” for ten seconds straight. If that’s not talent, I don’t know what is.

Okay, now it’s just not fair Smith family. Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith already have a 13 year old wunderkind named Jaden, who is an accomplished actor (The Pursuit of Happyness) and rapper (he even performed with Justin Bieber). Now, their 11-year-old daughter Willow released yet another music video, called “I Am Me,” making every normal videogame playing kid feel unaccomplished.
We previously heard her upbeat party anthem “Whip My Hair,” but now she’s literally done whipping her long locks. Willow shaved her head and premiered the reflective track “I Am Me” on Sunday. In the video she sings ”Your validation is just not that important to me” in front of graffitied walls and in New York parks with her portable keyboard. Willow has genuine talent and I admire that she’s able to forge her own identity so confidently, at such a young age.
The track is likely from her debut album Knees and Elbows, which doesn’t have a release date yet. She also recorded “Fireball” with Nicki Minaj.

We finally know the big news that Justin Bieber has been hinting at for a bit. Justin announced that he is releasing a new song tonight with Jaden Smith.
Justin tweeted, “Me and @officialjaden are releasing a new years song at 12 tonight. Be the first to hear it.!!!!!!!”
The two pop stars have become quite close, as Jaden appeared in Justin’s movie “Never Say Never,” and has been spening a bunch of time with Justin. This track is just one further step in their bromance.
Justin Bieber tweeted a picture of himself and Jaden Smith wearing matching outfits.
The picture is the two Hollywood stars wearing matching fur hats, matching fur boots, and matching denim jackets. Justin tweeted, ”Uh oh new @swagboots the world doesn’t know what just hit them haha.”
Do you think this could be the cutest picture of all time?
Jaden and Willow Smith, the superstar children of Will and Jada Pinket Smith, are reportedly mentoring Michael Jackson’s kids Prince, Paris and Blanket.
Jaden, who has appeared in several films including ‘The Karate Kid’ remake, and Willow, best known for her hit single ‘Whip my Hair,’ were seen on a movie set in L.A. yesterday with Jackson’s children.
The whole meeting was allegedly set up by Katherine Jackson, Michael’s mother, to help nudge her grandchildren in a positive direction.
Sources close to Katherine say she believes the Smith children are prime examples of young success in Hollywood. They are both extremely talented and down-to-earth, and thinks the three children could learn a lot from them.
I’ll give her that – they do seem to have a very good head on their shoulders. And extremely cool to hang out with.
Katherine wants Michael’s kids to enjoy their childhood and is actively encouraging them to become involved in all kinds of activities, including acting or singing.
Here is a lesson for you – in your next life, become the son of a famous actor and start an acting career young. Reports have surfaced that Jaden Smith, son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, is making seven figure money.
TMZ obtained a copy of Smith’s contract for the films, which was signed in June 2009 when the actor was just 10 years old. The contract reveals he was paid in two installments for the two films, one for $900,000 and $100,000.
And that’s not it – there was also a bonus. Thanks to the film’s lucrative take at the box office — bringing in over $150 million — Smith received a $2 million bonus.
Let’s hope Mom and Dad have put the money in the hands of some decent accountants. The last thing we want to see is another Corey Haim situation.
If you loved 2006′s “Pursuit of Happiness,” get ready for more action from the Smith family’s father-son duo.
Will Smith and son Jaden have signed to star in a new sci-fi movie directed by M. Night Shyamalan, Columbia Pictures said in an announcement today.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is set 1000 years into the future, and Jaden will play a boy who has to find his way around an abandoned planet after his spaceship has crashed. Just like real life, Will will play the role of his father.
“The chance to make a scary, science-fiction film starring Jaden and Will is my dream project,” said Shyamalan in a statement.
Rumors of the film began generating last October, when the project, now untitled, was known as “One Thousand A. E.”
At the time, Will was only set to produce even though rumors were being said that the film was being developed for Jaden.
The film will be produced by Shyamalan and Will Smith along with James Lassiter, Jada Pinkett Smith and Ken Stovitz, Smith’s partners at Overbrook Entertainment. The screenplay is by M. Night Shyamalan and Gary Whitta.
With the star power from this dynamic duo, hopefully this film will be a successful rebound for Shyamalan after last year’s “The Last Airbender”.
With that film winning Razzies for “Worst Picture” and “Worst Director”, I don’t think Shyamalan can afford another epic failure of a film.
Actress Jada Pinkett Smith has publicly defend her and husband Will Smith’s decision to allow their kids to enter showbiz at such an early age. She insists that Willow, famous for the smash Whip My Hair, and Jaden, for The Karate Kid remake and a duet with Justin Bieber on Never Say Never, don’t bear the same financial burdens as other child stars, reports Singersroom.
She told Britain’s Daily Mail, “Our children are allowed to stay in the paradigm of being a child. They don’t have to take care of their families: become the complete emotional, physical, and financial focus that happens to many child stars. Our family structure is a little different and it’s quite hard to comprehend because it’s so outside what usually happens in a family, but the paradigm is the same.”
Although the two children may seem busy – Willow’s on tour with Justin Bieber, Jaden is starting his film career – they do seem to have a good head on their shoulders. I don’t think there’s a big problem, because Jada and Will seem like the best parents one can have. Still, though, the couple still faces scrutiny.
Author Terry McMillan has even accused the parents of “exploiting” and “pimping” their pre-teens. I think that’s a little drastic. Tons of child stars have grown up to have great careers, so I don’t think their lives are in danger because of a little singing and acting.
“This isn’t about fame or money,” says Jada. “They were still going to have their trials because of who their parents are. As much as I wish I could figure out a way I could protect my children, they have their destiny. I’m not going to put brakes on that out of fear.”
At the same time, Jada recognizes the huge following her children have, and that she must keep a watchful eye on them. “I will not overlook that. I have a 10-year-old who can stand up in front of an audience of 17,000 and rock the house. I have to keep her grounded.”
See? I think Jada and Will are going to do a fine job of raising their children. I personally wish I had parents like them – they just seem so cool, but grounded at the same time. Plus, if I was child to two hot movie stars, I’d want a career in showbiz too – can you really blame Willow and Jaden?
Looks like the Beebz is looking for the real high school experience!
TMZ reports that the “Baby” singer was spotted at a high school football game in California last week to watch BFFL Jaden Smith’s older brother, Trey, toss around the ol’ pigskin.
Jaden’s daddy Will Smith and Justin’s rumored paramour, Selena Gomez, joined Justin and Jaden at the game.
Trey’s team won 21-14, thankfully without contracting a case of Bieber Fever by proximity.
If Selena and Justin are actually dating, it must have been a pretty lame date!
In a baseball game it’s one strike, two strikes, three strikes, you’re out, and normally the same strike rule applies for people. However, filmmaker, M. Night Shyamalan seems to have defied this rule over and over again. Comingsoon.net reports that Shyamala-ding-dong has yet another film in the works.
Shyamalan is currently developing a new sci-fi project, One Thousand A.E., for Overbrook Entertainment. Overbrook Entertainment is the production company run by Will Smith, James Lassiter, Ken Stovitz and Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. The film is set to be a lead role for the Smiths’ son, Jaden.
It’s been ten years since Shyamalan directed The Sixth Sense, arguably his only worthy film. In the past ten years he has been consistently releasing terrible films that always bomb at the box office and get annihilated by critics. His most recent, Devil, was no exception, it barely got 50% on the RottenTomatoes meter. One Thousand A.E., surely will be no different….a piece of shit.
With the involvement of the Smith Family, you never know if some sort of Scientology element will be involved. Maybe Tom Cruise will sign on to the project too, then it will be pure gold.
Honestly, how many more chances will Shyamalan get?
Justin Bieber was spotted this weekend off the coast of Hawaii. The Biebz was yachting with his good friend Jaden Smith, possibly having many dance-offs and Hawaiian Punch chugging contests.
Did we mention Justin Bieber is super rich? No? Well, he is. He sprinkles gold flakes into his bubble baths and drinks pureed caviar and burns money and laughs.
Bieber and Smith were graced with the presence of several bikini-clad women who, scandalously enough, appeared to be considerably older than the stars. TMZ posted the story with some pictures of a very scrawny looking, shirtless Justin relaxing beside one of the older ladies.
We don’t want to insinuate anything, but we sure hope the statutory rape laws in Hawaii are relaxed and accommodating!
Do you think the Biebz is looking for some illegal older-lady tail?
Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith stayed up past their bedtimes to hang out and relax last week after Bieber’s Madison Square Garden show. We’re not surprised to hear that what started as a casual game of bowling quickly progressed into an intense, no-holds barred, sudden death dance off.
TMZ reports that the teen heartthrobs broke it down to the tune of Kevin Rudolf’s “You Make the Rain Fall” at Lucky Strike Lanes and Lounge last week. Though the Karate Kid did his fair share of popping, locking, and dropping, the win apparently went to Justin Bieber for his killer moonwalk. To be fair, Justin does have experience holding dance offs in bowling alleys, so he probably had the upper hand in the situation.
Wish you were there? Well, don’t worry – Bieber’s documentary crew caught the whole battle on film, so we’re sure that the whole gory grudge match will make its way into your hands sooner or later.
Justin has some smooth moves, but Jaden threw down pretty hard in the video for the boy’s Karate Kid soundtrack collaboration, “Never Say Never.” We’ll need to see the footage before a true winner can be declared.
There’s something crazy about the fact that Justin Bieber has the power to jump-start the career of an up-and-coming musician. But hey, Biebs, if you’re willing to help the little guy, all the power to you.
As shown on PerezHilton, Bieber’s recent single, “Never Say Never,” off of The Karate Kid soundtrack, has him singing his 16-year-old heart out and paving the way for none other than Will Smith’s son Jaden.
Looks like acting is not the only thing that runs in the Smith blood – Jaden takes to the mic and raps about things like being on a “JB” song and coming out on top even though he is smaller than his opponent.
All we can say is that this song is going to have tween girls going bananas. And between the two of them, they might have some of the best hair in Hollywood.
Check out the song’s music video, which features the two boys hanging out in the recording studio eating Twizzlers (it doesn’t get much cooler than that).
Want to know something scary? The “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” is nearly 40 years old. That means a couple things for Will Smith: a) more mature roles, and b) an established family life. Those two things collide in his latest film, “The Pursuit of Happyness.”
The movie tells the real-life story of Chris Gardner (played by Smith), a father struggling to support his family as a salesman. When his partner and the mother of his son leaves, Gardner soon finds himself evicted from his apartment and homeless while still having to care for the young boy. With skills beyond his menial job, Gardner looks to improve the lives of himself and his son by competing for an internship at a big-time stock brokerage firm.
But in apapting Gardner’s story for the big screen, a number of changes were made. For instance, in real life, Gardner’s son was an infant at the time. For the film, however, they magically transformed him into a five-year-old boy, and stuck Smith’s real-life son, Jaden, into the role.
While the change still works (aside from Jaden’s limited abilities as an actor at such a young age), I can’t help but feel that the actual story — a single, homeless father struggling to improve his condition by changing careers while also caring for a newborn — would be more compelling.
Nevertheless, the film is successful in its aim of capturing Gardner’s plight, and the difficulties of his life at the time. The story is touching, with Smith displaying his real-life caring for Jaden admirably. It’s absolutely predictable, though, and suffers from overdramatization at times.
The story behind “Pursuit” is defintiely astonishing, but the adaptation turns it into a stock Hollywood rags-to-riches film. Seeing it wouldn’t necessarily be a waste of time, but it certainly can be skipped. As for Smith, his next project has him playing the last man alive, surrounded by a world of vampires. To me, that sounds like a welcome return to form.
