50 Cent is sounding suicidal in some recent Tweets. The rapper has been having trouble with his label, Interscope, and the release of his fifth album.
“I have lost all the faith in the team I’m on,” he tweeted. “I having nothing left to say I will not be promoting my music.”
He went on with some very gloomy tweets.
“I’ll be honest I don’t think I’m gonna live much longer,” revealed 50. “That’s why I started my street king movement. I want to mean more in other people’s lives.”
He also sent out a philosophical tweet.
“To be conscious that life is short is not suicidal. I’m good if I die tonight. I’ve taken care of the people who took care of me when I couldn’t take care of myself.”
Could this be the end of 50 cent? Or just the end of his music career?
Interscope Records, a huge label with acts like Lady Gaga and U2, has unknowingly gotten itself involved with a massive cocaine trafficking investigation.
Music manager James Rosemond, 46, known as ‘Jimmy Henchmen’ was indicted on drug trafficking charges.
Rosemond and his team used massive musical travelling cases to send shipments of drugs from Los Angeles to New York. It’s unclear how Rosemond got access to Interscope’s facility to make the shipments, and it is not believed anybody from Interscope knew what was going on.
The ring is alleged to have used a New York recording studio at the other end for the drug and cash shipments, reported the Wall Street Journal.
Rosemond manages The Game, who is signed to Interscope.
As we reported earlier, 50 Cent is in a feud with his label Interscope. The disagreement has gotten so bad that his new album won’t be released.
50 Tweeted on Tuesday, “Man I’m not releasing a album i can’t believe interscope is this f*cked up right now. I apologize to all my fans.” In a separate tweet, the rapper continued, “I will work with other artist on [their] projects but I will not put out another album. They dropped the ball with me one time [too] many.”
However 50 is not going to stay standing still. Instead he is going to focus on his film. He Tweeted, “I’m gonna finish writing the film I promised to release with the album. Ill shoot it in sept I’m gonna put energy into that.”
50 Cent is fighting with his record label Interscope, and is threatening not to release anymore music. 50 feels the label is moving too slow and not working hard enough.
50 posted to his Twitter, “Man I’m not releasing an album… I can’t believe Interscope is this f**ked up right now. I apologize to all my fans.
“I will work with other artist on there projects but I will not put out another album. They dropped the ball with me one time to (too) many… they can’t seem to get it right when it comes to me.”
50 has so much money he doesn’t even need to release anymore music. Off Vitamin Water alone that guy has money to burn.
Haley Reinhart who was a finalist on Season 10 of American Idol has just landed a recording deal with Interscope Records. Haley is currently on tour with “American Idol Live,” which kicked off on July 6.
“I’ve always dreamed of getting this kind of recognition,” Reinhart says in a release. “I am very thankful to 19 and Interscope for giving me this opportunity to create my own music.”
This is amazing news for Haley, considering she initially tried out for Season 9, but didn’t make the cut for Hollywood. However, Season 10 she made the cut for Hollywood and became an Idol favorite. Although she didn’t win Season 10, getting a recording contract with Interscope is a nice second prize.
Are the Pussycat Dolls done for good? Did anyone know that they were actually still together?
Newest reports state that the all-girl pop act have broken up after there was beef between solo star Nicole Scherzinger and the rest of the girls in the group. According to the New York Post, the front woman is no longer on speaking terms with the rest of the group, and they have had it with her hogging all the limelight.
The paper also said that a source told them that “it is war” between the two sides. “They have broken up for good. None of the other girls are speaking to Nicole, who they believe took the limelight, then went off to do her own thing.”
