Beyonce has banned outside photographers from her Mrs. Carter Show world tour and wants to give publications “pre-approved” images provided by her management. Like that’ll stop people from taking derby photographs of her performing. I think she’s forgetting she’s living in the era of social media, in which she has zero control over. Instagram was flooded with not-so-glamourous images from the tour. And after viewing some of them, we can see why she’s desperately wanting to control her image. Guess she’s just as insecure as the average folk. Poor Bey!

The answer to “Are they back together, or not?!” can probably be answered in a new picture Justin Bieber shared on his Instagram page yesterday.

Featuring him without a shirt and being cuddled by his on/off girlfriend Selena Gomez, the picture was accompanied by a caption that said, ‘”You’ve been makin music for too long babe come cuddle” -her.’

Interestingly enough, the Biebs didn’t delete this photo like he initially did with the first picture he posted of the two together.  But considering the intimate nature of the image, it’s safe to say these two are definitely BACK ON and want the world to know it!

Britney’s 22-year-old sister Jamie Lynn announced via Instagram last night that she and Jamie Watson, her boyfriend of three years, are engaged.  The two posed for an adorable picture and Spears also posted a close-up of her new bling along with the caption “Guesssss what??????”

Not only did Fox approve of Swift’s break-up songwriting ways (“What a way to build a career.”), he probably wouldn’t even recognize her if she started dating his (finally age appropriate) son.  He’ll probably tune in on who she is once the break-up song goes on the air: “‘Sam, You Piece of Shit.’ Oh … that was the girl you brought home!” Fox later apologized to T-Swift who tweeted, “”Hey everybody, Michael J. Unless you’ve been living in a hole, far away in the deserts of the Australian outback, you’ve probably seen all the Facebook messages and tweets hating on Instagram’s new privacy policy.

The photo sharing service, now owned by Facebook, changed its user agreement to give broader rights to use its members’ photos in ads. Basically, they could take a photo of you running along a beach and use it to promote some hotel you’ve never been to, without any compensation to you. The chances of this happening to you are probably very slim and there are definite pros and cons to the new agreement; Instagram claims it will function better with the change.

The changes don’t take effect until Jan. 16, so you still have time to de-activate your account. Still, while many people use their Instagram for personal use, it’s practically an advertisement already for people who post photos of their new clothes, favourite drinks or a recent makeup haul.

As Instagram users, we think the new guidelines are shitty. But you have to admit some of the photos are basically ads already — at least the users themselves CHOOSE to post them.

I was a bit skeptical when Instagram sold its business to Facebook for a billion dollars.  But apparently, CEO Kevin Systrom thinks otherwise.

When asked about his decision to sell his popular photo-sharing service to the biggest social network on the planet, Systrom certainly showed that he had no regrets despite wanting to sell his company for TWO billion dollars.

Well, like he said…sh*t happens.  But personally, something tells me that this reaction is partly masking his disappointment.  He probably wanted more money out of the sale!!
