Comedy actor Seth Rogan recently sat down for a revealing chat with the king of radio, Howard Stern.
Usually when stars do interviews with this radio show host, they’re not always on their best behaviour. The “Knocked Up” star recalls the time he peed in a Snapple bottle while he was idling his car in Tom Cruise’s driveway.
“I was so uncomfortable,” Seth said. “I wanted to do something funny”.
You can watch his marvelous storytelling in the video below.

As “America’s Got Talent” gears up for its seventh season, Howard Stern, the King of all media, is hired on as a judge to replace Piers Morgan.
If you’re a big fan of the outspoken radio DJ, don’t fret. Production for the televised talent show will be moved to New York City, so Stern can continue on with his Sirius/XM radio show, BuzzFeed reports.
I have to admit, I find “America’s Got Talent” extremely corny and boring but now that Stern is on board, his larger-than-life personality will definitely make things more entertaining to watch. I’d be curious to hear him speak his mind to a family of baby jugglers from Oklahoma.
The New York Post writes the shock jock allegedly requested $20 million dollars for his new job. Being a judge is no joke, Stern tells his listeners.
“I take judging very seriously. In order to up my credibility, I will wear a suit,” he jokes.
In this video below, you can watch the cocky Howard talk about how he looks forward to the show, especially to “judge these lunatics”.
No word yet on whether or not anyone’s replacing the snooze-fest of a host that is Nick Cannon.
Eddie Murphy has officially stepped down as host of the 84th Academy Awards telecast, less than 24 hours after the show’s producer Brett Ratner stepped aside after a storm of criticism over his use of an anti-gay slur over the weekend.
In all fairness, Ratner and Murphy’s attachment to the broadcast lasted longer than the Kardashian marriage, by twenty-four days.
Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Tom Sherak said Wednesday in a statement, “I appreciate how Eddie feels about losing his creative partner, Brett Ratner, and we all wish him well.”
Ratner was named the Oscar co-producer in early August, resigned on Tuesday morning because of his anti-gay slurs on Howard Stern’s radio program on Sirius XM Radio show.
According to the New York Times, The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation strongly objected to the derisive remark about gays, and a flood of objections by academy members and media commentators quickly made clear that the Academy’s Feb. 26 Oscar show on ABC, if Mr. Ratner remained in charge, was going to be as much about Mr. Ratner as the movies.
Murphy followed his friend and director of his latest film “Tower Heist” and flew the coop, he commented, “First and foremost I want to say that I completely understand and support each party’s decision with regard to a change of producers for this year’s Academy Awards ceremony. I was truly looking forward to being a part of the show that our production team and writers were just starting to develop, but I’m sure that the new production team and host will do an equally great job.
More to come….
For those of you who are not Howard Stern fans, Howard has wanted to interview Lady Gaga for a long time. And this morning he finally got his wish.
Gaga appeared on Stern’s satellite radio show this morning, which cost Stern$500. Stern had placed a bet with his producer that Gaga wouldn’t show up. The interview was a tad awkward at times, where no question was considered off-limits.
Stern asked questions about her cocaine use, her sex life, and her music. Gaga responded to the question about losing her virginity by saying, “I’ve got a lot of young fans and I love you and I respect your show and I know you want to talk about sex and cocaine – but honestly you should wait as long as you possibly can to have sex… I really think that kids have sex way too young.”
Gaga was also brought to tears when a Stern staffer spoke to Gaga on the air about how much he admires her support for the gay community.
Stern was throughly impressed by Ms. Gaga, although the appearance cost him $500.
Artie Lange wants to come back to Howard Stern’s radio show. Lange appeared as a guest on Fox Sports Radio where he spoke about leaving Stern’s show.
“Listen, I was on the greatest show of all time for about 9 years … and I put them in a very awkward situation to say the least, so, what am i gonna do?”
Lange left the show in early 2010 due to problems with sobreity. Lange has been recovering in a Florida rehab facility.
We hope Artie returns to Stern’s show, just for his impressions at the very least. See below for what we mean. Here’s his Mike Tyson’s impression:
There are two women who are the most important in Howard Stern’s life, his wife Beth and his co-host Robin Quivers. Unfortunately Robin has indicated her relationship with Howard may be coming to an end.
In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Quivers revealed she might be saying goodbye to the man who helped make her a household name.
“I love to do radio and television and I’ve always wanted my own television show, so I’ve been putting out feelers for those kinds of things,” said Quivers, 58, told the website. “(I could) express myself in ways that I don’t necessarily get to express myself on our show.”
“It will be like a talk show, but with subjects that I’d be interested in. I think I have some interesting things to say and I don’t think anybody out there is saying them,” she added.
The two radio personalities have worked together since 1981 when they met in Washington. If Robin leaves, Howard’s show will certainly be different. Will his show last without Robin?
Camille Grammer, Kelsey’s soon to be ex-wife, told Howard Stern this morning that Kelsey likes to dress in women’s clothing. She further added that he appeared in the cross-dressing La Cage aux Folles because he liked women’s clothes.
Kelsey’s rep, Stan Rosenfield, tells TMZ, “While it is not clear why Camille Grammer continues making public statements about her marriage to Kelsey, it is crystal clear that Kelsey will continue not responding, regardless of content.”
Howard Stern has certainly been around the block for a few decades, but there is no question he’s still in the game.
On Thursday Howard Stern announced he would continue his stint on Sirius/XM for another five years. This announcement subjected the Sirius/XM customer service representatives with a tidal wave of phone calls, with peopling renewing their subscriptions to the service, and people signing up for new accounts.
The story has become one of the most read this week on TMZ, along with other sites. So maybe Stern is the king of all media?
Apparently, recently single(ish), David Arquette spilled a little bit too much information about his split from Courtney Cox on the Howard Stern Show according to PerezHilton.com. David even apologized for his word vomit on his twitter account.
“…I shared too much…it’s alright for me to be honest about my own feelings but in retrospect some of the information I provided involved others and for that I am sorry and humbled…”
Poor David was reportedly suffering from a serious lack of sex. David announced that the couple didn’t have sex for a whopping four months. Well, Mr. Holmes, this sounds like a case of celibacy!
David has not taken his time in moving on. He has a new girlfriend now, Jasmine Waltz, an aspiring actress. It’s funny because Waltz happens to have the same coloring and features as David’s ex, Cox. At least he has a type? Hopefully Waltz is a nymphomaniac who can fulfill David’s budding sexual appetite. She also evidently loves weed. PerezHilton.com reports that in 2000 Waltz was arrested for possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana in Orange County, Florida.
So she’s a freak in the sack who loves getting high, what could be better?
With Larry King taking his bow at CNN, everyone is wondering who will replace him. Ryan Seacrest is an obvious choice along with a couple of other candidates, but Larry has made it clear he doesn’t want Howard Stern taking his spot.
Larry told a reporter for Steppin’ Out magazine that Howard was the “least common denominator,” “worthless” and “tasteless.”
According to PerezHilton, Howard reportedly responded to these comments by telling friends, “It’s alleged he was banging his wife’s sister and he’s saying that I’m tasteless? He’s a frog … an imp and he’s the luckiest man in show business.”
These guys obviously have a history. Check out this Larry King interview from 1988. You can see there is some tension.
As Simon Cowell is in the homestretch of his “American Idol” run, everybody is wondering who will replace the opinionated British Judge.
One of the potential candidates remains shock-jock Howard Stern. But will he admit that he wants the job?
“I watch it religiously,” the shock jock told E! Online at the Sex and the City premiere at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. “I believe Crystal Bowersox will win.”
“But I don’t think the show has been great this season,” he continued. “That’s why their ratings have dropped a little bit. I think the judges have been a little soft. I think it’s time to mix it up, make it a little more exciting again.”
In regards to Simon Cowell’s Judging ability, Stern said “I like Simon,” he said. “I think he’s great, but I tend to more than just break people’s hearts about their dreams in singing. I don’t think that’s my kind of job.”
In the wake of the Oscars, certain Hollywood bigwigs were already writing eulogies for Gabourey Sidibe’s acting career.
“There’s the most enormous, fat black chick I’ve ever seen. She is enormous. Everyone’s pretending she’s a part of show business and she’s never going to be in another movie,” blasted Howard Stern on a Monday morning radio show.
It looks like Stern may have to eat his words.
According to MSN Online, “Precious” lead Gabourey Sidibe has landed a job as the star of Showtime’s new comedy “The Big C.”
As raw and offensive as ever, comedian, radio personality, actor and author Artie Lange returns to his roots in Jack And Coke, shot at one of his favorite clubs in his beloved New York City. One of America’s funniest stand-up comedians, Lange’s irreverent, uncensored humor gets huge laughs from this NYC crowd. The culmination of nearly four years of touring, Jack And Coke includes nearly an hour and a half of insanely honest, hilarious material.
The DVD/ Blu-Ray is now available!
Artie Lange has been missing from The Howard Stern Radio Show since early December, and now it seems things are getting worse. E! Online reports that the radio comedian has been hospitalized in New Jersey for undisclosed reasons.
“We can confirm that Artie is in the hospital,” Lange’s camp said in a statement. “Artie has chosen to keep all information on this matter between him and his doctor. There will be no further comment.”
Howard K. Stern was arrested on Thursday and charged with multiple felonies – including conspiracy to furnish drugs – in the overdose death of Anna Nicole Smith. According to perezhilton.com, Stern’s lawyer, Krista Bath, claims that Howie (the former Playmate’s longtime companion) is a victim of lies and not a felon.
Her public statement was a lengthy declaration of Howie’s innocence:
Sirius Satellite Radio said on Thursday that they had a very special treat for listeners over the Labour Day weekend — three days of classic, uncensored Howard Stern.
E! Online reports that the marathon broadcast was put together from over 23,000 hours work of material, spanning two decades of radio shows.
It’s the first time that the material has been broadcast without edits and censoring.
Fans will be able to request their favourites moments to be included in the marathon, which will also feature uncut interviews with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Donald Trump, Paul McCartney, Sylvester Stallone, and others.
In May, Sirius paid CBS Radio more than $2 million U.S. for the rights to Stern’s back catalogue of master recordings.
The Stern-fest starts Friday at 3 p.m. ET, running straight through till Monday at 12 a.m. ET.
CBS Radio and Howard Stern have agreed to a settlement in the breach of contract suit brought against the radio personality in February. However, E! Online reports that neither side has signed the agreement yet.
A New York court clerk revealed that a settlement had been reached after attorneys for both Stern and CBS called his office on Wednesday. A hearing in the case scheduled for that afternoon was cancelled by the judge.
Stern left CBS in December to become an on-air host with Sirius Satellite Radio. After the departure, CBS sued Stern for more than $200 million US. The complaints listed in the suit included breach of contract, fraud, unjust enrichment, misappropriation of radio time, unfair competition and interference with Stern’s CBS contract.
On his first satellite radio show Monday, shock jock Howard Stern said he and long-time girlfriend Beth Ostrosky got married.
After his fellow on-air talent were in disbelief, Stern dropped another bombshell: just kidding.
The couple have not tied the knot, despite media reports suggesting they did.
Stern did countless interviews over the past month promoting his move to Sirius Radio. When asked about the wedding, he said to listen to his first broadcast and he’d clarify all rumours.
