In the world of celebrity news, there’s no shortage of hits and misses. This week, The Hunger Games’ Jennifer Lawrence makes our “hit list” for a cute photo of her with her beau. Lindsay Lohan sadly fell short, as her alleged hit and run is anything but a hit.

In my head, I saw Skins star Kaya Scodelario as the perfect Katniss. Eventually though, Jennifer Lawrence’s charm won my heart, not to mention the heart of Scodelario’s former co-star, Nicholas Hoult. While they’ve kept their relationship under wraps, I wouldn’t mind seeing Hoult escort Lawrence down the Hunger Games red carpet. She looks hot in gold, TAKE SOME PRIDE IN THAT.
One Direction will get their own show on Nickelodeon
To my sister and every One Directioner’s delight, Nickelodeon confirmed via Twitter that the members of this boy band are getting their own show. They may be cute and British, but their pop tunes make me want to punch something cute. I’m sure they’ll be great for some wholesome family entertainment but just remember ladies, keep your stalking friendly.

Dave Franco, aka younger brother of James, thought an 80s-themed photoshoot for the hip hop magazine was a good idea. I can’t decide what’s stranger: this or the Funny or Die video where he has sex with himself. I think you should fire your agent because the Internet never forgets.
Lindsay Lohan accused of hit and run
While on LiLo patrol, TMZ reports the star hit a hookah lounge manager with her Porsche early Wednesday morning in L.A. While the manager wasn’t hurt, he apparently plans to press charges. At least give her a chance at a comeback! She didn’t go back to red hair for nothing!
Estella Warren has been arrested for a DUI, hit and run, assault, and escape, reports E Online.
The model and ‘Planet of the Apes’ star landed herself in jail after allegedly smashing into three cars in Los Angeles on Monday. Warren then drove away from the scene, was nailed by cops and ultimately arrested for DUI. But then it gets worse.
Warren, who was driving her Toyota Prius when the incident happened, then resisted arrest and kicked a cop. After trying to flee from the scene, police caught up with her and cuffed and hauled her off to the station. She failed a field-sobriety test just past midnight (obviously.)
But the sad saga continues.
When Warren was being booked, she managed to slip her skinny model wrists out of her handcuffs and bolted for the back door of the station, where she tried to escape yet again.
The ‘Sports Illustrated’ model was quickly caught (again) and was booked on an additional charge of felony escape. Which brought her rap sheet total up to four for the night.
Incidentally, while Warren has publicly cited her age as 32, her booking report lists her as 40. Maybe that’s why she was so desperate to flee – she didn’t want her real age to be revealed. Her bail has been set at $100,000.
This is such a crazy story, I love for things like this. She gave a good fight, but in the end, she’s going to have to pay big time. Good efforts, though.
After watching the Lakers lose Thursday night, Mad Man star, January Jones, got into a car accident while driving home, reports TMZ.
The LAPD tells TMZ that Jones had been watching the game at a hotel and on her way back home several paparazzi began trailing her and she ended up driving her car straight into three other parked vehicles.
Jones then allegedly left the scene, leaving her license behind and walking to her house nearby to call the police. She was told that the police had arrived, and so she went back to the location of the accident. Jones says that the reason she fled was because the paparazzi were harassing her.
No arrest was made and no drugs or alcohol were suspected to have been involved. Also, the police have said that this will not be treated as a hit-and-run investigation.

TMZ reports that Heather Locklear was arrested for a hit-and-run in Ventura County last Saturday. At 4am someone heard a loud crash but didn’t call it in until the following evening. Deputies investigated the scene and found a knocked over “No Parking” sign, and black paint residue from the car that hit the sign.
Further investigation allowed them to conclude that it was Locklear’s black BMW that hit the sign. Investigators visited her home to find her car having damage consistent with the accident. She was arrested and later released from police custody.
Back in 2008, Locklear was arrested in Santa Barbara for allegedly driving under the influence of prescription medications.
