Get ready to go back to high school, sans Zac and Vanessa.

Disney announced Tuesday that its hit “High School Musical” franchise is coming back for a fourth installment, but with a new cast of characters.

“High School Musical 4″ will revolve around a love triangle amidst a cross-town rivalry between the East High Wildcats and the West High Knights. As usual, the hijinks will be accompanied by music and dancing.

Peter Barsocchini, who wrote the first three ‘HSM’ movies, is attached to pen the latest installment.

‘High School Musical 4′ will premiere on the Disney Channel sometime next year.

The franchise is returning to its small-screen origins after making its theatrical debut last year with “High School Musical 3: Senior Year.” The movie featured the “graduation” of original stars Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and others.
