Lawyer Sues Hasselhoff Ex

The lawyer who first represented DAVID HASSELHOFF’s ex-wife PAMELA BACH in her divorce battle against the actor is suing for unpaid legal fees.

Attorney Gary Mitchell claims he represented the actress for six months last year (06), before Bach began using the services of lawyer Debra Opri.

Mitchell filed suit in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday (23Aug07), demanding $40,000 (£20,000) in unpaid fees.

Court papers say Mitchell and Bach had an oral agreement over his representation of her.

Meanwhile, the same day Mitchell sued Bach, a Los Angeles judge ruled Hasselhoff would not have to pay $189,000 (£94,500) in legal fees charged by Opri while she was representing his ex.

Bach fired Opri after losing custody of her two daughters to Hasselhoff in June (07) and has since hired Mark Vincent Kaplan as her attorney. (ES/WNWA/IG)

DAVID HASSELHOFF has branded his AMERICA’S GOT TALENT co-judge PIERS MORGAN a poor journalist.

Morgan, who was editor of British newspapers the News of the World and the Daily Mirror, upset the former Baywatch star with revelations about the actor’s marriage and kids in his series of books purporting to expose the secret lives of the stars.

But, despite having since received an apology and proved his parental credentials in court by winning custody of his two daughters, Hasselhoff is still fuming and urges Morgan to check his facts first.

He says, “Piers just takes things too far. Seriously, he has crossed the line sometimes.

“Piers will say, ‘It’s British humour.’ I don’t mind someone joking about me, my music, whatever – but don’t bring my kids or my family into it.

“He wrote some things in his book and he thinks it’s acceptable. Well I say that calling him a w**ker on TV is acceptable too.” (SH/WNTMI/MEH)

Hasselhoff To Produce Daughters’ Pop Career

Singer/actor DAVID HASSELHOFF is set to turn his teenage daughters into pop stars.

The former Baywatch actor claims his kids Taylor Ann, 17; and Hayley Amber, 14; are talented singers and he wants to produce for them.

He says, “I am also actually working on producing my daughters because both of them can sing.

“I said I was gong to wait until they’re ready. Now my dreams have all come true and I am going to help them.” (ES/WNTRE/JC)
