Weeks after teasing fans on Twitter with cryptic messages, One Direction have announced their 2014′s Where We Are Tour at a press conference at Wembley Stadium Thursday. Talk about a packed schedule as One Direction are already incredibly busy with their current 2013 world tour!
Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Harry Styles are just as excited for their upcoming adventures as their loyal fans.
“We are ecstatic,” said Niall. “We have only been a band for three years and we’re already doing stadiums – including Wembley.”
Harry also chimed in and shared what fans can expect on the tour: “It’s important the fans and everyone who comes to see the show know it’s going to be much bigger and new songs. A completely different tour.” Bigger and different – well count me in!
They also took the opportunity to share some news on the new album, the one their pal, Ed Sheeran, said was already finished. Louis shared that the album would take the band in a, ahem, new direction (ZING!), “There will be a new album this year. It’s taken a slightly rockier tone.”
“We made it a lot more edgier,” added Liam.
The tour will take the boys all around the world, promising to hit up every country. It’s set to kick off in Latin America on April 25, 2014 and will continue on to Ireland and The U.K. Before you get your heads in tizzy, they have also promised a U.S. leg and I’m sure they wouldn’t forget about their Canadian fans. You can keep posted on all the upcoming dates HERE.
Well they weren’t kidding when they said they’d have a huge announcement. I don’t know about you but I need a lie down after all that.

Whether it’s in interviews or their tomfoolery behind the scenes, the boys in One Direction no doubt have loads of fun when they’re together. And even though choosing their best on-air moments is like choosing which member has the best hair, I took on the task and listed some of the funniest moments of the lads.
One Direction Get Pranked On Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway
In this prank the boys are led to believe that they are meeting two fans on a New Zealand morning show who couldn’t make it to their show in New York because their dog “Zayn” was hit by a car. The best part about this video is how Harry is pretty much the only one who is trying to help his fainting fan.
Louis and Zayn Prank Harry, Liam and Niall
How can we forget the time when Louis and Zayn pranked Niall, Liam and Harry at Nickoledeon by making them think they were going to deliver a baby? Again, can we just appreciate how concerned Harry is in this moment?
Come to think of it, if there’s anything to take away from these two pranks it’s that I hope Harry’s there in the case of an emergency.
Then there was the time they were briefly known as “Juan Direction” on SNL
Well, here’s some news that made it feel like it’s Christmas morning.
They may be on their Take Me Home world tour, but the boys of One Direction have also been working hard on their third album. They hope to have out by Christmas and it looks like they may just hit that goal.
In a recent interview with MTV, their ginger buddy, Ed Sheeran, let the cat out of the bag by claiming that the album is already finished! (Cue the squeals!) But if you were hoping for another Ed Sheeran/1D collaboration, you won’t find it on this next album. Deciding to keep his songs for himself this time around, Ed didn’t contribute anything.
“I haven’t done any songs on this one; I’ve actually kind of cut myself from giving any people songs at the moment, because I want to make my album,” he said. “Once my album’s done, then we’ll see. But their album is already finished.”
Ed has become One Direction’s biggest collaborator, having donated already three songs for their last couple of records, having written hits like “Moments” for Up All Night, “Over Again” and the swoon worthy “Little Things” for Take Me Home.
Ed or no Ed, this album is will be at the top of every Directioners’ Christmas list and have us dancing with joy. Yay!

Say what you will about the boys of One Direction, one thing’s for sure, they keep upping the adorable factor. Louis and Zayn are going to have one sweet ride during the American leg of their Take Me Home Tour as they might be seen rolling up in a real life version of Scooby-Doo‘s Mystery Machine.
There’s been talk of the boys putting down £70, 000, (roughly $109.9 thousand CAD) on the bus. It looks like it’s all finally coming together, and of course Louis had to share his excitement through Twitter.
Decked out in colours you can’t miss with “The Mystery Machine” painted in large orange lettering, you have to wonder if this a good idea. I mean the “mystery” is pretty much gone and I can just see the fans now on the look-out for a large turquoise van roaming the streets of their city this summer. Nonetheless, it’s pretty cool. Maybe they should go all out and drive around disguised as the characters.
One Direction’s Harry Styles has been quite the busy body since touching down in L.A. on Tuesday.
After bumping into The Mindy Project‘s star and creator Mindy Kaling earlier this week, the singer was spotted leaving dinner with none other than Rod Stewart Thursday night. Styles and the aging rocker were joined by a group of friends (including Rod’s wife, Penny Lancaster) at L.A.’s Dan Tanas restaurant.
While we hope the two had a pleasant evening together, we do hope some of the conversation turned to business. I wouldn’t mind hearing a Rod Stewart/One Direction or Harry Styles collaboration on the radio.
One Direction made a surprise appearance during Sunday night’s Juno Awards, a.k.a. the Canadian Grammys.
The adorable boy band helped host, crooner Michael Bublé, introduce the “Call Me Maybe” singer from Manchester via satellite. Bublé feigned some nerves as he bantered with Liam, Niall, Zayn, Harry and Louis, asking the boys if they liked stuff. If I were Bublé, I would’ve asked them if they like cheese.
After that adorable introduction, Jepsen went on to perform a medley of her songs. She went on to pick up three JUNO awards, including Single of the Year (for “Call Me Maybe,” naturally) and Album of the Year for her sophomore album Kiss. Kiss also landed Jepsen the Pop Album of the Year award during the pre-broadcast gala.

The boys of One Direction have finally met their match as they helped to unveil their new Madame Tussauds wax figures on Thursday.
The boys got a little silly as they were posing with their wax counterparts in London, England with Liam Payne opting to pick the nose of his new friend.
The boys also tweeted this from their group account:
1D waxworks have hit @madamtussauds! If you’re off to London we want to see your pics of the (waxy) guys. 1DHQ x twitter.com/onedirection/s…

Directioners were left in a tizzy of emotions after they thought they heard One Direction’s Harry Styles mention ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift during his solo in “Little Things” during their Newcastle gig.

http://onedirectionswagmasta.tumblr.com/
But before the “Haylor” bashing starts all over again, rest assured that this is all most likely either, a joke courtesy of his fellow bandmates, which wouldn’t be a first. Cue flashback of Harry getting pantsed onstage by Liam. There’s also a chance are it’s a complete misunderstanding, i.e. hearing ”Ted” and even “pet” instead.
So what do you hear when Harry sings “And I’m in love with you?” at the 1:40 mark?
Harry Styles can’t tell stories, says the most ridiculous things, and makes the greatest derp faces are just a few of the many reasons why Styles is by far, the most entertaining member of One Direction.
All the boys have their own shtick, but Harry Styles is the strangest, and in turn is the most entertaining. Niall has his Irish-ness, Zayn has his catchphrases, Liam has his Twitcam, Louis has his fashion, but Styles has his over all derp-ness and we love him for it. How could anyone forget Dirty Harry’s live show antics, such as getting pants-ed or slyly changing the lyrics around? He’s a special unicorn that has been nice enough to grace us with his presence.
Here are the 17 reasons why Harry Styles is the most entertaining member of One Direction
1) He changes lyrics

2) He Bites

3) He licks ritz boxes

4) His facial expressions

5) His dance moves
If you’re the few Directioners and The Wanted fans who are casually scrolling through Twitter and Tumblr today and wondering, “Woah! What the heck happened last night?” Here is a full display of the Tom Parker and Louis Tomlinson Twitter fight of 2013.
Apparently Louis spoke some words about their rivals at a recent gig that Tom didn’t quite find amusing and which sparked this tweet:
Then Louis took a crack at the whole Max and Lindsay story
Then Liam decided to join on the fun:
There is no denying that Harry Styles is the media darling of One Direction. They’ve captured his tumultuous relationship with Taylor Swift, his party-filled vacations, and now thanks to Liam Payne, his underwear.
Yes you read that correctly. And while it may seem like a dream come true for Directioners, it just made me cringe. Why would seeing a hot pop star drop trou ever make me cringe, you ask? Check out what was going on under his pants:
Is nobody else disturbed by what appears to be a completely tattered pair of boxers?!? I would be happy to accompany Harry on his next shopping trip to avoid further pantie-induced embarassment. Or, he could just go commando. I wouldn’t mind that either.
Hold on to your fangirl seats Directioners, because the boys have released an alternate video for “Kiss You!”

http://loving-directioner.tumblr.com/
The boys have been having a lot of fun with their latest album Take Me Home. After dressing up as sailors, surfer dudes, skiers and “Jail House” inmates for “Kiss You,” it’s no surprise that silliness ensued during filming. Showing some behind the scenes footage, the alternate video shows the guys cracking jokes and joking with one another in between shoots. One thing (no pun intended) is for sure, you’ll have as much fun watching it as they did filming it.
Animator Mark Parsons is back with a new instalment of the Adventurous Adventures of One Direction 2. YAY!
in his little intro before the actual video (which is dedicated to Zayn: “Ain’t nobody as dope as you”), Parsons explains the background of this new video. He received letter from two fans after his first AAoOD video asking him to pretty much animate a fanfic story line for them.
Well, lucky for the Natalie and Sarah (the two fans who wrote to Parsons) he did and they are now cartoon dating Niall and Harry.
To be fair, at the time of writing this, I only got through the beginning (the video is a half an hour long), but so far it’s pretty funny. I’d totally be friends with cartoon Harry. I also totally agree with cartoon Louis and Liam that the Louis doll is kind of scary. Here’s what doll Louis looks like in real life:

Anyways, make sure to tell us what you think!

They say the higher the hair the closer to god. As a girl with large curly hair, I’m going to go ahead and go along with that statement.Girls love to give their hair some height, because flat hair with no body can be quite a disaster.
Guys complain that girls are obsessed with their hair. “You look fine,” they all say. “Just fine?” we throw back.
While most guys just shower and leave their hair as is, there are always a guy who spends more time than girls do gelling and styling their hair. Just try most of the guys in Hollywood because as we all know, perfect hair doesn’t come naturally.
Now, I have a bone to pick with all these guys who style their hair. It is not fair for a guy to have prettier hair than I do, or prettier hair than any girl for that matter. You’re showing us up.
There are some males in Hollywood with perfectly quaffed high hair. Geez, Who gives you the right.
Listen Colfer. You are on my list.
Yes, I have a hitlist. A list of males in Hollywood with the (unfairly) highest hair.
Stop it. Just stop it. You make us all look like hairless rodents.

In the world of celebrity news, there’s no shortage of hits and misses. This week, Jennifer Lawrence is flawless after snagging an Oscar, One Directioner Harry Styles gets hit with a shoe and diva Mariah Carey gives us an eyeful.
HIT: Jennifer lawrence jokes around with the press.
We were all on the edge of our seats when the gorgeous Jennifer Lawrence had a little tumble on her way to accept her Oscar for best Actress for her role in Silver Linings Playbook. But instead of breaking down and having a total biotch-fit, the actress commented on her slip. When she was later asked what was going through her head when she tripped, the actress said, “a bad word that I can’t say that starts with ‘F.’” Well Jennifer, you made that fall look so good and who could blame you? That dress you were wearing was pretty redonkulous.
MISS: Harry Styles gets hit with a shoe.
On Tuesday our favourite Brits performed in Glasgow, Scotland when Styles got hit in the crotch with a flying shoe. Ouch! Fans have expressed their condolences in the twitterverse by hashtgging, #Pray4HarryBalls. We’ll be sure to keep them in our prayers. Hmm… Maybe someone should check if T-Swift has any missing shoes in her closest. LOL.
HIT: FLOTUS presents Best Picture
While the Oscars try their very best at keeping us entertained and guessing, nothing was more unexpected and surprising than the First Lady of the United States’ Oscar appearance. Via satellite, The FLOTUS helped present Best Picture to Argo. According to Deadline, Michelle’s involvement was so top secret that she wasn’t even included on the production schedule.

Apparently, Harry Styles doesn’t know how to duck. Like, at all. Or people just really like throwing stuff at him. Why do you people like throwing stuff at him? Stop it! That’s no way to treat One Direction’s resident woodland creature.
You would think that by now Styles would’ve developed some really awesome ninja-like skills. While Tuesday’s sacking by way of shoe was probably the least avoidable incident, I’m a little upset that Styles hasn’t learned how to avoid such flying objects.
Anyways, here are just some .gifs to illustrate Styles’ non-ninja ways (as compiled by my sister. Thanks, sister, for not going to school today!):

Poor Harry Styles got hit in his nether regions by a shoe during One Direction’s Glasglow show last night.
An overzealous fan threw a pair of shoes on stage. The first of the pair harmlessly landed onstage while the second hit Styles right in the family jewels. Watch as Styles dramatically falls over.
No, it wasn’t Taylor Swift that threw the Keds-like shoe and as far as we know, it wasn’t a Wanted fan either. But yes, it would’ve been funny if the shoe was from Swift’s Keds footwear line because hey, SYMBOLISM!
I might as well add that I’m a little disappointed the shoe thrower didn’t aim higher. It would’ve been hilarious if Styles had a little George W. Bush ninja-like shoe-dodging skills in him.
Like a boss.
I’d also like to add that since I’m a girl, I have no idea just how painful this might be. Basically, this is how I would react:

For the record, Styles is okay.
U.K. charity Comic Relief recently released another clip of One Direction’s visit to Ghana for the charity’s annual Red Nose Day. This time, Harry Styles and Liam Payne visiting a medical clinic in Ghana where they witnessed the effects of malaria first hand.
The boys were visibly overwhelmed by how sick some of the children were with Styles crying as he tried to explain how to donate to the charity at the end of the video.
You can help support Comic Relief and One Direction’s efforts by visiting rednoseday.com/support1D or buying “One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)” on iTunes.
Given Taylor Swift’s not-so-subtle dig at Harry Styles during her Grammy performance, it’s nice to see Styles take the high road when he was asked about his brief relationship with the country singer.
The One Direction member sat down with London’s Capital FM radio station on Sunday to help promote the band’s charity single, “One Way Or Another.” When asked what life was like post-Swift, Styles said, “I’m okay, thank you for asking. I’m good.”
The One Direction member was a gentleman as he had nothing but kind words to say when it came to Swift’s Grammy performance. “She’s a great performer and she always performs great,” he said. “She’s always good on the stage. She’s been doing it a long time. She knows what she’s doing on stage. It was just another good Taylor Swift performance. It was good.”
The dig doesn’t seem to have affected Styles as he and a friend were spotted partying around Leeds University on Valentine’s Day, according to Us Weekly. Swift, on the other hand, told Ryan Seacrest earlier this month that she would probably spend the romantic holiday either with friends or rehearsing.
Harry Styles probably was a bit surprised Wednesday morning when he found himself in the papers for something that wasn’t about his love life or partying antics.
Splashed across the British paper, The Metro, was a quote from writer Alain de Botton giving a friendly suggestion on what the One Directioner should be doing with his Twitter account.
Botton, who is also regarded as a philosopher, was quoted in the paper as saying, “The problem we’ve got is that most famous people in the country tend to believe in things that aren’t particularly ambitious. In an ideal world Harry Styles would be teaching his 10 million Twitter followers a little more about Greek philosophy.”
Styles took Botton up on his suggestion and tweeted a little tidbit about Greek philosopher, Socrates, later that day.
Socrates, born in Athens in the 5th century BCE, marks a watershed in Ancient Greek philosophy.
— Harry Styles (@Harry_Styles) February 13, 2013
In context, Botton’s quote isn’t a particularly mean criticism of the young Brit. The writer was just trying suggest other ways of spreading ideas and Harry’s name probably came up in as the two had met once at a party. “Neither of us had heard of each other,” Botton told the paper. “We had a nice chat. It was fun.”
Do we hope to see more philosophical musings (i.e. a copy and paste Wikipedia job) from Harry? Not really, but it would be pretty funny.
