Is Deckard back?!

According to TwitchFilm this morning, Harrison Ford is in talks for the next film in the Blade Runner franchise. Director Ridley Scott signed on to direct and produce back in August, but it hasn’t been confirmed whether the next installment will be a prequel or sequel. He had already said that Ford and the Deckard character wouldn’t return.

However, Twitch assures that Ford ”has entered early talks” to join the film. Which is likely, because these days Indiana does just about everything. It’s a sure thing that the film would be a blockbuster success with their lethal collaboration.

‘Cowboys and Aliens’ Trailer is Released

The trailer for Cowboys and Aliens has been released, and it’s definitely not your average action flick.

The film deals with a posse of cowboys trying to fend off a spaceship that arrives in Arizona, 1873, to take over the Earth. It’s like Men In Black meets Wild Wild West.

For such a unique film premise, it certainly holds an all-star cast. The movie stars Daniel Craig, Olivia Wilde, and Harrison Ford, among others.

While many are making fun of the plot (it is pretty strange), I predict a box office smash with this one: special effects, an all-star cast, and Harrison Ford. I mean, come on.

Harrison Ford is ready.

Despite being 67 years of age, he holds high hopes that he will, once again, take to the screen as the lovable, adventuring archaeologist known as Indiana Jones.

According to MTV, Ford stated that he is keen on making a new addition to the legendary four-part film series.

“I’d love to do it!” he exclaimed. “George Lucas is working on an idea, and if he can come up with something, Stephen Spielberg and I simply have to agree and go ahead with it.”

“If I get the chance to do another one, I’d be happy as pie to do it,” added the screen legend.

A glove worn by Michael Jackson on his 1984 Victory Tour sold for $70,800 at a Los Angeles auction last week, reports Perez Hilton.

Also on the auction block was the Martin D-28 guitar Elvis Presley used in his final Las Vegas performance, which sold for $106,200, and Harrison Ford’s bull whip from Indiana Jones, which brought in $56,050. A velociraptor from Jurassic Park was purchased for $76,700.

Another ‘Indiana Jones’ Movie For Harrison Ford?

There was a 19 year gap between the last “Indiana Jones” film and “Crystal Skull,” but will fans have to wait this long for another movie?

When asked about the possibility of another “Indiana Jones” movie, Harrison Ford told MTV News “I don’t know. If we come up with a good idea.”

According to Ford, a new Jones film would depend mainly on writer George Lucas, “With some general input, he goes off and searches for the MacGuffin and then stumbles into a story. And at some point, we have a chance to take a look at it and give some input.”

When asked by MTV News if Lucas has found this “MacGuffin,” Ford says, “No, we’re still in the primary stages.”

And if ever another actor was cast to play the adventurer in future films 50 years from now, Ford would have no problems, “The very simple addition of numbers would make it clear that in 50 years I will not give a sh– at all. I will so not care.”

Harrison Ford To Marry Calista Flockhart

Call it “Indiana Jones and the Marriage Proposal”–Harrison Ford finally asked Calista Flockhart to marry him.

According to reports, the man who plays “Indy” popped the big question on April Fool’s Day, leaving Flockhart wondering if it was real.

But the proposal wasn’t for laughs. The 64-year-old actor plans on marrying Flockhart, 43, once his promotional work for the new Indy film is finished.

The couple has been dating for five years. This will be the third marriage for Ford, and the first for Flockhart.

Ford is best known for his work as Indiana Jones in the movie series, and as Han Solo in Star Wars. Flockhart, who currently stars in Brothers & Sisters, is best known for her starring role in Ally McBeal.

LaBeouf Gets Praise From Harrison Ford

While the new “Indiana Jones” movie is receiving positive early reviews, star Harrison Ford has even more glowing compliments for his young co-star, Shia LaBeouf.

“He has an enormous talent,” Ford said at a press event over the weekend. “He had some very archaic skills to acquire and he worked really hard. He will be around for a long, long time.”

LaBeouf said he was nervous to take on the role of Ford’s sidekick. “It’s terrifying and exciting,” he said. “Even if you’re welcome the scope is daunting and you have to get past that Harrison is Harrison – that’s very scary.”

He noted that though Ford isn’t easy to befriend, the two bonded over doing their own stunts. “We started by jumping right into stunts and you find this mutual respect with Harrison… And when we became friends everything became easier.”

Indiana Jones 5…Without the Indy?

Although the fourth instalment of Indiana Jones doesn’t come to theatres until Thursday, there is already talk about making a fifth film – without Harrison Ford as the lead role.

George Lucas, while walking the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of Kung Fu Panda, suggested to reporters about the possibility of a sequel to “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.”

“I haven’t even told Steven [Spielberg] or Harrison this,” he said. “But I have an idea to make Shia [LaBeouf] the lead character next time and have Harrison come back like Sean Connery did in the last movie. I can see it working out.”

As for now, diehard fans can relax. Ford, 65, told reporters on Friday that “till they tell me otherwise, I will continue to be Indiana Jones.”

Indiana Jones 4 to Begin Shooting This Year

Harrison Ford is following in Sylvester Stallone’s footsteps and making an action movie past his prime.

Ford will begin shooting the fourth installment of Indiana Jones 4 sometime this year. The third Indiana Jones film was released in 1989.

The man behind the project, George Lucas, said recently that he and director Steven Spielberg had finalized the script.

Sean Connery and Natalie Portman are rumoured to be two of the other stars in the film, which is set to be released in May of 2008.

Most people are thinking about retirement at the age of 64, but not Harrison Ford. The actor says his age is no impediment when it comes to dodging danger and saving the world as Indiana Jones.

The fourth installment of Indiana Jones films is kicking into high gear and once again, Ford will assume the starring role that had cemented his fame more than 20 years ago in the first Indiana flick, 1981′s “Raiders of the Lost Ark.” He also starred in the sequels “Temple of Doom” (1984) and “The Last Crusade” (1989).

Ford said at the inaugural Rome Film Festival on Friday that he feels “fit to continue” as the fictional archaelogist and adventurer. “Indiana Jones 4″ will be directed by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, who were also behind the earlier blockbuster hits.

“We did three films that stay within the same block of time. We need to move on for artistic reasons and obvious physical reasons,” Ford said. “I feel fit to continue and bring the same physical action.”

Ford added that another aging actor, Sean Connery, who played Jones’ father in “The Last Crusade” may also appear in the new movie.

“He’s part of the emotional fabric of these films. I think there may be an opportunity, I believe that Sean is still willing and I’d be delighted if he joined us,” said Ford.

No other details about the film has been released, but production is said to be moving along quickly.
