If you’re growing tired of the old toilet roll and egging pranks (which BTW you should NEVER do, because come on, they’re pretty lame and unoriginal) follow prankster Ed Bassmaster’s lead with the zombie drive-thru prank.
Bassmaster donned white paint and blood one evening and hit up all the local drive-thrus to order brains and make random grunting noises. He pretty much scared everyone, especially one chick at the end who will be endlessly taunted by her fellow drive-thru employees.
This is the same dude who strutted through NYC with a fake hand rat. This one turned out even better, except for the one girl who seemed to think he was legitimately ordering brains.
Happy Halloween everyone!

I can’t tell whether or not this is cute or creepy.
But one thing’s for sure. When it’s Halloween season, shuffling and dancing along to the Monster Mash is an absolute MUST at any age. And proving that they are young at heart, these senior citizens totally nail it their awesome costumes!
These days, many comedians are trying to branch out into different movie genres to give their portfolio more depth and show fans their multi-layered talents. Wouldn’t it be fantastic if Austin Powers’ actor Mike Myers expanded his base and attempted a horror movie?
Halloween would be the natural fit because 1. That movie rocks and needs another unnecessary remake 2. The main character’s name is Michael Myers. It’s too perfect. Screen Junkies decided to imagine what Halloween would look like if it starred the Love Guru. It’s a little groovier than the version we’re used to.
This Halloween seems to be all about strategically editing horror movies to be comedies and vice versa. We’re not complaining!

Can you identify all these Halloween memes and pageant queens? If you’re looking for a clever, last minute costume idea check out these outfits inspired by what else? The Internet. Perfect for bloggers, techies, law students who don’t pay attention in class and lonely Redditors in their mom’s basement.
Other ideas? My Little Pony, LOL cat and the Overly Attached Girlfriend. Also, if you want to be a planker, you can literally situate yourself on top of the beer pong table and refuse to move. [Via Buzzfeed]

Don’t want to don a pair of lacy underpants and a busty corset this Halloween? EmotiStyle comedians Shamikah and Molly feel you — they even wrote a song about it, featuring Project Runway’s Tim Gunn (Mark Douglas).
In the video they rap about all the things you can be this Halloween (Bill Cosby, Hillary Clinton, Blue Man Group) that aren’t slutty. For example, you can be a nurse — you don’t have to be a sexy nurse.
While the video was intended to point out alternative costumes for ladies who don’t want to have their “tits out,” commenters are accusing the duo of slut shaming: “There’s so many things you could learn from this song (use your head not your tits) like, keep your clothes on, keep it classy,” they sing.
Ultimately women should be free to wear what they want (regardless of the day/season) without fear of judgement. There are strong commentators from both camps!! What do you guys think?
Also, shameless self-advertising here, but ANDPOP came up with an awesome list of Halloween costumes you guys should consider!

1. Who sucks the most?
That’s um… really mean, but a really interesting voting system.
2. Mark Wahlberg’s Halloween boobs
That’s the spirit, Mr. Wahlberg. I wonder if he knew that his placement of the pumpkins was just too perfect.
3. Scarlett Johanson faceplants (but it’s fake)
Any ScarJo fangirls can relax, this faceplant was intentional for a movie!
4. Hungry bird
Apparently a guy wanted to feed his parrot, and then found said parrot already feasting in the box. I just really hope the little guy is able to breath. He seems to be inhaling those little fruits and nuts.
There are too many amazing things about this photo. First, the complete and utter oblivion of the woman in this photo. Second, the middle child’s face. Third the backhanded slap that was the result of the complete fail. Though the pain must have been horrible, this captured a funny moment for the family.
Still stumped about what you’ll be for Halloween this year? Check out what some of our fave celebrities wore last year.

Apart from candy, Halloween is all about scary pranks and tricks. Imagine if you were walking down the street and all of a sudden some dude in a black trench coat sneezed his head off — literally.
Magician Rich Ferguson did the “Halloween head drop trick” on the streets of his hometown San Luis Obispo. While he did the prank during the day, he notes on YouTube that it’s even freakier at night. Best reaction goes to the group of kids who are totally caught off guard and run away screaming.

All aboard the creepy A- train! This week’s episode of Pretty Little Liars took us on a frightful ride and just in case you missed it, I’m here to recount every juicy detail.
1. Adam Lambert Guest Stars — This was the best surprise out of all the surprises in last night’s episode. Adam Lambert was the guest performer for this high school’s train party. This makes total sense, of course, because every singer dreams about singing at a local high school party; still, it was a pleasant surprise compared to the more morbid ones we got.
2. Byron talked to Ali the night of her death? – So in a strange turn of events Garrett decided to help Spencer and the girls by recounting the events that happened the night Ali was murdered. Garrett told Spencer that he, Melissa, Jenna and Ian were up in Alison’s bedroom the night of her murder. He and Jenna left her room in order to let Ian and Melissa talk. Once outside, Garrett ran into Ali, who naturally started mocking Jenna. The argument got so heated that Jenna told Garrett to hurt Alison with a hockey stick. After, some lies told by Alison, Jenna thinks Garrett killed her. What Jenna doesn’t know is that later, Garrett returned to the backyard and saw Alison talking with Aria’s father, Byron. Wait so does that mean Byron killed Alison or was Alison just another underage hottie that Byron hooked up with? I knew Bryon was a sleezeball.

Ellen Degeneres showcased the type of ingenius children’s Halloween costumes that parents make their kids wear, despite their six-year-olds adamancy to be a Powerpuff Girl again. Even though the kids don’t usually understand the costume their parents made them wear, in the end, it’s all about the candy.
Ellen showcased some adorable costumes that were both timely and relevant to both politics and pop culture. Check out some of my faves and the video below.

New Taylor Swift music, watch out ex-boyfriends!

Taylor Swift released her fourth highly anticipated album Red yesterday and I’ve had it on repeat ever since. Guys: If you’ve ever dated her, be prepared that there’s a song on the album about you. My favourite track so far is “Everything Has Changed” feat. Ed Sheeran. [fireworkswifts]
Cozy knit sweaters and your fave accessary

It’s that awkward time of year when it’s too cold for a T-shirt and not quite cold enough for your winter coat. One of my fave things about fall weather is wearing cozy sweaters; whether it be with leggings or a pair of skinny jeans. You can add a funky necklace to make your outfit POP! [oh-hey-emily]
Studded boots

I’ll admit it, most of the time I’d rather throw on a pair of chocolate Uggs and walk out the door than lace up booties. But after seeing these cute studded boots, I’ve come to the conclusion that they’re worth the extra effort. I don’t think you can ever have enough studs. Agreed? [monmondefou]
Everyone could use a bit of animal print

If you’ve been watching The X-Factor, you’re probably familiar with the animal print contestant CeCe wears on her face and legs. She recently told ANDPOP: “When I paint my face or legs it’s like an alter ego that comes out. It’s an empowering thing and I feel like nobody can mess with me.” [makeupftw]

A trip to your local party market store will prove that 80 percent of the female costumes this year are “sexy” costumes. That’s all find and good but if you’re just not feeling saucy this year there are tons of other DIY alternatives.
You have roughly a week, so get cracking with these ten suggestions!
Black Swan
Halloween costume experts TheSorryGirls, teach you how to make a beautiful Black Swan ballerina costume. It’s actually really simple to do and you don’t need a lot of supplies. T
Perfect for any girl who is trying to look elegant and mysterious for Halloween and who knows? Maybe you could even use it as a future dance costume.
Mad Hatter
Beauty expert, Beth (Macbarbie07), teaches you how to put together a girly version of the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland with makeup and everything. She even shows you how to make the hat out of a cardboard box instead of having to go out and buy one.
Perfect for any literature geeks out there who are going to a Halloween party with friends.
Taylor Swift
Beauty expert, Meredith ( StilaBabe09), shows you how to look exactly like Taylor Swift in her “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” music video. This tutorial mostly focuses on Taylor’s makeup but Meredith also shows you where to get a blonde wig and all of Taylor’s outfits from the video!
Perfect for all of Taylor’s Swifties who want a cute costume for Halloween and maybe even a slumber party!

Over 8500 lights and 250 channels of computer animation were used to create this Halloween light show to Psy’s “Gangnam Style.” It’s pretty impressive that the mouth is almost identically synched to the lyrics of the song. I’d love to see a Crank-style neighbour’s war between this showcase versus “This Is Halloween” light show. Who do you think would win?
Just in time for Halloween, Fun Size promises to be the Halloween house party we’ve been dying to see. It’s the brainchild of Josh Schwartz who you might remember as the creator of The O.C. and one of the youngest show runners in television history. So you combine his creative genius with the lovely Victoria Justice and you have cinematic gold. Well, hopefully, you’ll have to judge for yourself. Fun Size is out everywhere October 25th.
Halloween is still more than a week away but this dog is ready to go. The boxer was probably wondering why his butt was getting so much attention — what with all the people pointing and laughing. I can only imagine his self confidence was plummeting.
His “Butthead” costume was a hit in the East Village at the annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade. ADORBZ.
Every year, fewer and fewer trick or treaters come to my door, opting to go to parent or school-hosted parties instead. To add incentive, I think every house on the block should create an epic light show to Danny Elfman’s “This Is Halloween.”
The kids might be to afraid to actually go up to the door and ring the doorbell, but conquering the lights is a real test of their confidence and bravery.
Instead of using boring household items to carve your pumpkin this year, why not be creative like this Martha Stewart of Badassery and use a Colt 1911? It’s the right tool for the job, plus the method is totally keeping with the spirit of spooky Halloween.
BTW: Keep in mind that your pumpkin WILL have exit wounds.

Not to be a Judgemental Judy, but I don’t know how anyone can attempt this party trick SOBER. Jumping into a truck full of hay might be hilarz for the people watching but I’m not sure if the hard pieces of hay irritating your naked skin would be worth it.
The bright side? I’m convinced this video is FAKE. The arm and head holes shaved into the stack of hay are just too perfect. At least it might give you some ideas for Halloween costumes this year!
While Halloween can be a joy for some, it’s a stressful time of year for others. As if the slasher films depicting gruesome murders and monsters wasn’t enough to keep you up at night, there’s also the stress of finding a unique Halloween costume in a sea of sexy kittens and pin up girls.
If you need some inspiration, watch this mashup of popular television characters decked out in costumes ranging from sexy Mother Teresa to the Doppler effect. While some of them are just lame (Ross as sputnik?) you gotta love the Wilson Phillips costume. Anyone?
