Pop singer GWEN STEFANI has hit out at reports her marriage to GAVIN ROSSDALE is in trouble, maintaining they’re “more than good” together.
Rumours the couple were having marital problems first surfaced following the release of the star’s new album featuring a track called BREAKIN’ UP. It was believed the song’s emotive lyrics reflected how she felt discovering her husband has a teenage daughter with PEARL LOWE.
She says, “If you think I have a bad marriage, you’re mistaken. I am very happy with Gavin. You really shouldn’t take all my lyrics literally.
“It (the song) is about the fear of losing someone. I like to write about my sadness. But I haven’t been with Gavin for years without a reason. We are more than good.”

GWEN STEFANI has confirmed she will reunite with her NO DOUBT bandmates next year to record a new album – and she can think of nothing else.
The DON’T SPEAK chart-toppers have been on an extended hiatus since frontwoman Stefani successfully reinvented herself as a solo pop star.
But the singer is desperate to return to her musical roots and has already planned their comeback hits.
She tells British radio station Galaxy, “I got an idea in my head about what we could do and now that’s all I can think about – doing a No Doubt record.”
Earlier this month bandmate TOM DUMONT revealed he’s been working on new material too, alongside guitarist TONY KANAL and drummer ADRIAN YOUNG.

Superstar Gwen Stefani can’t get enough of motherhood.
The 37-year-old songstress wants to beat the maternal clock and prays to give her seven month-old Kingston James McGregor Rossdale a playmate.
“I pray that I can have another baby. I mean, it’s such a miracle to have one… I’m on a ticking clock. And I don’t want to miss anything,” Stefani told People Magazine.
The former No Doubt lead singer has maintained momentum in her career despite the hectic schedules of motherhood.
She toured until she was four months pregnant during the reign of her last album Love.Angel.Music.Baby.
Stefani is currently promoting her album and brought Kingston along for the excitement.
“There’s this huge team of us always hanging out together, so he gets to see the same people every day. And he’s this very cool, chilled-out little guy. He’s just like another person, except that he’s super-cute and super-entertaining.”
With the days of Bush behind him, and Gwen Stefani on her own tour, Gavin Rossdale and his new band, Institute, will tour in August.
They’ll play 13 shows starting on August 11 in San Diego and ending August 30 in New York.
Their album, “Distort Yourself,” is due September 13. The first single, “Bullet-Proof Skin,” will hit radio in early August.
