Will Ferrell’s Gig on The Office to Become Full-Time?

We hope this is for real!!

Perez Hilton reports that the Office’s most recent buzzed-about guest star, Will Ferrell, could be written into the show as a permanent character to replace Steve Carell. Ferrell confirmed the story with a reporter at last weekend’s Comedy awards, but we all know Will is the master of deadpan and could be totally joking about the whole thing!

Ferrell said: “Yes, I’m taking over. My character’s name is Deangelo Vickers, he loves the American Southwest, and he’s just kind of in his own way going to step into Michael Scott’s shoes and try to fill them. I’m friends with Steve and a fan of the show, and I just selfishly wanted to do one episode with him, and they pitched multiple ones, and I said, ‘That’d be great.’”

It’s impossible to tell whether Ferrell was being serious or not without some sort of footage, none of which has emerged just yet.

Anne Hathaway Gets Gleeful

On-screen siren Anne Hathaway is following in the footsteps of many musical stars before her – by appearing on hit show Glee!

Popeater is reporting that Glee creator Ryan Murphy confirmed Hathaway’s appearance just after the series took home the Golden Globe for best Comedy or Musical last night.

“She created her own character, and we ran into her, and I said ‘Really?’” Murphy said. “She said ‘Yes!’ so we’re going to do that. We love her.”

Murphy’s announcement was still fresh news to most of the cast, who heard about the appearance mere minutes before it was announced to the public. Amber Riley, who plays divalicious Mercedes on the show, only got 10 minutes notice.

But most excited of all about Hathaway’s appearance is Chris Colfer, who plays Kurt Hummel on the show.

“Can you imagine a family with myself, Mike O’Malley, Julie Andrews, and Anne Hathaway?” he gushed. “That’s one hell of a family!”

We hate to be a downer, but maybe Glee should stop putting so much money into getting guest stars and spend more time building an actual, sustainable plot that lasts more than one episode? We love Anne Hathaway but Glee is more like a revolving door of “substitute teachers” than an actual show!

Lindsay Lohan is NOT Happy with Gwyneth Paltrow!

It looks like Gwyneth Paltrow’s appearance on Glee a couple of weeks ago has reached the television sets of the Betty Ford Center!

Radar Online is reporting that Lindsay Lohan, a friend of Paltrow’s, was absolutely crushed when she saw Paltrow’s guest character on the show call her out on her craziness. Paltrow, while playing a substitute Spanish teacher, said to her students “Lindsay Lohan is totally crazy right?… How many times has Lindsay Lohan been to rehab?”

Dina Lohan says that her daughter was deeply hurt by the episode, adding “we are the first to make fun of ourselves in our family. Lindsay has even done SNL a few times, but Gwyneth went overboard and it was unnecessary.”

The words may have come out of Paltrow’s mouth, but we think your anger should be directed towards Glee’s writers rather than the actress herself. She’s paid to say their words, after all!

It looks like yet another friendship has been torn apart by the shallow, grimace-worthy plots of Glee!

Seth Rogen newest Simpsons celebrity

As the saying goes, you know you’ve made it once you’re on The Simpsons. Well, after a few years climbing the ranks of stardom, Seth Rogen is finally there.

Much like the rest of his career, Rogen is taking charge. He co-wrote the script for his character in the 21st season of the acclaimed cartoon, becoming only the second celebrity to do so (next to Ricky Gervais.) The season premier, “Homer the Whopper”, aired on Sunday night, and featured Rogen as the gym trainer who helped Homer get in shape for his upcoming movie role as “Everyman”, written by the Comic Book Guy, Perez Hilton reports.

Other celebrities appearing on this season of The Simpsons inclue Chris Martin (Coldplay), Sarah Silverman, Anne Hathaway, Jonah Hill and Neve Campbell.

Rogen said The Simpsons has always been something of “a Holy Grail” and he can “die a happy man now” having made the credits of the show.

Rogen has been busy otherwise gearing up for his role as the Green Hornet, another screenplay he wrote alongside Evan Goldberg (Superbad, Pineapple Express). The film, directed by Michael Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), was pushed back to a December 2010 release date.

Lauren Conrad To Appear On Family Guy

Lauren Conrad is the latest celebrity to get animated for “Family Guy.”

The “Hills” star will appear as herself on the May 3 episode of the Fox sitcom, joining the ranks of such past guest stars as Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Love Hewitt and the cast of “Star Trek: The Next Generation.”

In the episode, titled “We Love You Conrad,” she will strike up a relationship with Brian the Dog, who discovers the reality TV star is not as she appears on her show.

“Family Guy” fans may know it’s not Conrad’s first cameo on the animated series. “I did a couple lines on an episode where they were watching television, and they did a clip of Laguna Beach,” she told starpulse.com. “That’s how I met Seth and the first time I got to do the show.”

Conrad also revealed she has been a fan of the show for years, and her favourite character is Stewie.

“Family Guy” airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox and Global. “The Hills” airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV Canada.

David Archuleta To Guest Star On ‘Hannah Montana’

Season 7 “American Idol” runner-up David Archuleta is set to appear Disney’s “Hannah Montana.”

The singer has already filmed his guest appearance and admits on his blog that he was nervous to appear on the hit show. “It was another thing I was really nervous about and wasn’t really sure about at first,” Archuleta said of the experience of filming the show.

Archuleta adds that once he got to the set, he had a great time. “Everyone there was fun and Miley was a cool person to hang out with. She has a lot of energy and is really funny haha. Getting to watch how they rehearsed the scenes for the show was really cool too. It’s always interesting to see the behind-the-scenes things.”

This isn’t the first time Archuleta makes an appearance on a TV show. He has also guest starred on an episode of Nickelodeon’s “iCarly”.
