MadeManDotCom plays another round of Internet Games with New Girl’s Jake Johnson a.k.a. the lovable curmudgeon known as Nick Miller. During this particular round, Johnson finally gets to the role he was born to play as he imitates Grumpy Cat, which is basically Nick Miller’s turtle face minus the scrunched up forehead.
Also, is it just me or does the interviewer, Paul F. Tompkins, look like Paul Rudd from Anchorman with better hair? No? Just me? Cool.
Community and Mad Men’s Alison Brie is a flawless individual. Asides from being ridiculously funny and a great actress (can you believe she plays Pete Campbell’s wife on Mad Men?!), she can sing, do the Charleston and do really good impersonations of popular Internet memes. Watch as she imitates Grumpy Cat, Overly Attached Girlfriend and does a little Hadouken-ing of her own.
Hey, Alison! Can we be BFFs already? (Don’t worry JLaw, Imaginary BFF is a tier.)
From Time Magazine to cat food commercials, Grumpy Cat is everywhere now a days. And with fame, comes dozens of imitators. Just look at Anderson Cooper’s attempt:

It’s one thing to frown, but the ability to replicate a “U” shape frown a la Grumpy Cat is a special talent. Here are five people who actually do look like Grumpy Cat:
1. Nick Miller (Jake Johnson) from New Girl

2. Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) from The Office
3. Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss) from Glee Read more…
Brace yourselves, folks. A new meme is coming.
And his name is Grumpy Toad. Soon we’ll find out that his name is actually Lester and he lives in South American Zoo. One time, after just minutes of begging, a girl finally kissed him. Lo and behold, he did not turn into the prince the fairytales have taught him he would turn into, hence the grumpy face. Now he is forever scarred by the way children’s stories have lied to him.
I’m joking. I don’t actually know where grumpy toad is from or what his name is. I do know that you could literally turn his frown upside down and he becomes Happy Toad:

How do we feel about this, Grumpy Cat?

Yup, thought so.
Sorry, Grumpy Cat but you’ve been replaced by your human doppelgänger.
While we doubt she’s as fun and condescending as you are, we do like the fact that hey, she’s someone’s grandma. She’s probably given that lucky person loads of cash like any grandma would. What do you have to offer us, Grumpy Cat? Catnip? Sorry, not as enticing.
Thanks to The Frogman (seriously, why are you so funny?), we now have Grumpy Grandma to ruin all the fun.
This cats facial reaction to the harlem shake can be translated into “Cool story bro. Tell it again.” I bow down to this cat for representing all of our reactions to this ridiculous fad. Thank you for showing how we all feel when we watch harlem shake videos. No. Just NO.
You haven’t lived life to the fullest until you have discovered Tard, aka Grumpy Cat. Grumpy Cat was possibly the most popular cat on the Internet this year, and I doubt she will be leaving our computer screens anytime soon. Grumpy Cat is mostly known for her deathly gaze, which has unfortunately turned into a bunch of crude memes. Although Tard appears to be really angry all the time, I’m sure on the inside is a warm little soul.
Henri le Chat Noir is a French cat who poses his incredibly deep thoughts on the world. A Youtube sensation, the cat has become a symbol of sad cats to stare out of windows and contemplate the perils of both human and cat life.
3. Colonel Meow
Colonel Meow is pretty much the Justin Bieber of the cat world. Not only does he have an incomparable hairdo, but he has all oft he internet swooning. Maybe not in the same ways as Biebs, but their fan following is admirable.
Firm Folksam caused an uproar with their controversial commercial featuring skydiving cats. The Internet had a mixed reaction to the ad — most thought it was cute and creative while others saw it as cruel to put cats up to such a task. Of course, the cats weren’t actually forced to sky dive. But the idea of it is pretty scary!
This cat knows how to chill out and enjoy the scenery. I don’t like the idea of putting a cat in an awkward position like this. But the fact that he can sit himself up like that is wicked. The internet fell in love with the relaxing kitty for his “devil may care attitude” and strange skills.
A satirical take on the film Seven Psychopaths, the Seven PsychoCATS pose as the actors in a mock-trailer of the film. It’s kind of strange to see cats swearing, which is probably part of their raise to fame. Perhaps these kitties could learn a lesson in innocence from the relaxed kitty.
7. Ninja Cat
It’s pretty obvious what this cat is known for — total mind-blowing powers. The Ninja Cat is famous for its teleporting powers. This would probably scare me so much I would drop my camera if my cat ever did this.
With 2012 coming close to and end, it’s safe to say that this year has been both incredible and sad. Although we are surrounded by tragic and heartbreaking news each day, people like Jean-Louis Nguyen are quick to point out that there are other things we can celebrate. Nguyen has compiled a video called “2012: What Brought Us Together” to show the ways we have been brought closer together, especially through the power of the Internet. The emotional video covers a wide range of topics including the Olympics, Grumpy Cat, the Spice Girls, and of course, Gangnam Style.
The most amazing part of the video is that while is talks specifically of events and phenomenons in 2012, it says something of every year past and present. Whatever happens to us humans, we are almost always never going through it alone (even though it can sometimes feel that way.)
Tardar Sauce the grumpy cat has been getting a lot of attention lately from media outlets such as Refinery29, The Soup and even The Today Show. However, she doesn’t really like all the hooplah. In fact, she doesn’t understand why people make fun of her for looking grumpy in the first place. She’s a very happy cat and just wants to be accepted by her friends. But then memes like this happen:

In this new profile by Storyboard, the grumpy cat talks about Starbucks coffee cake, being afraid of heights and stinky cabs in New York City.

The Internet’s favourite Grumpy Cat, also known as Tardar Sauce, is doing a publicity tour in NYC and offered some solid reviews on current fashion trends. She stopped by Refinery29 and her deadpan expression said it all: Peplum sucks and Karl Lagerfeld’s bratty cat Choupette is even worse.
After the telling interview, Tard browsed the racks of the latest cat fashions to hit the runway and tried on her favourite look. Her grumpy expressions softened a little bit after putting on the pink collar top and A-line skirt by United Bamboo, but not much

I feel like Tard the Grumpy Cat is never going to leave the internet or our hearts. I’m not complaining. The cat, who has become an internet sensation, is unintentionally the cutest animal to ever grace our unworthy eyes. However, Grumpy Cat has turned out to be a favourite amongst meme makers. Here’s a look at the best of the best memes that truly capture the essence of Grumpy Cat’s cold (yet beautiful) gaze.

The world has fallen in love with Tardar Sauce the grumpy cat (you might know him as Tard), but according to The Soup’s Joel McHale (who actually speaks cat fluently) Tard has a message for the Redditors who made him famous: “I’m not pretty happy, my name is Tardar Sauce. Would yo be happy if you were named after a dipping sauce for fish or named after any sauce for that matter? My life is a joke. F*ck you Reddit.”
So there you go Reddit, straight from the cat. Is Tard’s angry stare the result of adorable bone structure or a deeper existential crisis?

You might watch this video and think “ah, man, this cat isn’t grumpy. What a jip! Sure, there’s no hissing, scratching, hunching of the back etc. but you can just see the grumpiness in her eyes. And it is awesome.
The only thing more awesome is that her name is Tard.
