It’s hard to pinpoint exactly why I think this vintage commercial of Australia’s Dreamworld theme park is so funny. Is it Marge holding a koala like it’s Maggie? Is it because Bart’s in kiddie town jail? Or is it just the shots of the family of mascots having a grand ol’ time in the 1990s? Maybe it’s all of the above or just because this happened in the nineties and everything in the nineties was so awfully good. In any case, this should be the one 30 second clip you should feast your eyes on during your busy day.
The geniuses at Monkey Lights have come out with a whole new way to ride your bike and it’s pretty awesome.
After they first came up with the idea back in 2009, Monkey Lights is back with a new and improved design. The lights, which are installed on your wheels, help create an animation that you control while riding. It’s sort of like gifs on wheels. The lights come in a variety of designs like this cute one of a cat and dog.
I wonder if they have Disney characters? Do they offer personalized writing options?
The idea is pretty genius and aside from making your ride look like the coolest bike on the road, it will also come in handy in keeping you safe on those late night bike rides.
During my brief tenure as an actual cat owner, I tried my best to teach my cat how to skateboard. I mean, if dogs can do it, cats can too, right?
Wrong. The only time I got a cat on a skateboard was when they were wee kittens who didn’t know any better. Even then, they would stare longingly at the ground, pitifully enough that I felt so bad that I had to pick them up and comfort them right away. Once they got bigger, they would just hop right off the moment i placed them on the skateboard.
I only wish I knew then the secret to being the ultimate cat owner: boxes. Perkyballs on YouTube (nice name) obviously knew and came up with what is possibly the best cat video of this year.
The debate between whether “jif” or “gif” has become a divisive argument that has spawned hundreds of YouTube comments and message board threads. Hopefully the internet beefs will come to an end as the creator of Graphics Interchange Format,Steve Wilhite, clears the air in an interview with New York Times.
“The Oxford English Dictionary accepts both pronunciations,” Mr. Wilhite said. “They are wrong. It is a soft ‘G,’ pronounced ‘jif.’ End of story.”
Did everyone get that? Cool. Now here’s a GIF of a dancing Spider-Man from before we all started expressing our emotions in pop culture tidbits.

If this was a short film it would be titled Paranormal 1V: The Adventures in Babysitting.
This is what happens when parents suffer from serious paranoia, and having too much time on their hands. This just looks like the poor babysitter tried carrying sheets and ended up appearing as a clumsy ghost instead.
I’m not sure who to feel worse for – the parents who think they have had contact with the paranormal, or the babysitter who probably has a huge bruise on their forehead right now. I wonder if the parents are planning on selling the rights to this “footage” to the producers of the Paranormal Activity instalment. Now that would be the only Paranormal Activity I would willingly watch – just for giggles obviously.
Apparently, this is what Taco Bell does to you. But instead of being chained to a toilet all night because your soft taco supreme tasted a little off, you begin to harbour some weird gymnastic like powers. Kind of weird, but we dig it.

Is Willy Wonka behind this?
You know when you’re trying to catch a movie, you always factor in the time it takes for the trailers to roll and the title cards to play? It’s that little bit of time that makes you go, “why yes, I can be a little late to this movie. Let me grab some more M&Ms and squirt a little bit more butter on my popcorn like the true ‘foodie’ I am.”
Well, if that movie began with this overly enthused (and most likely drugged up) Skrillex fan as the MGM Lion, I would never never be late for a movie again.
Obviously, repetition gets a little boring, so maybe MGM can switch it up from time to time with Jennifer Lawrence:
Who would you prefer to see? Jennifer Lawrence or the drugged up Skrillex fan? Comment and tell us below!
There’s just something about Jennifer Lawrence that makes you want to be her BFF. From her quirky interviews, down to earth personality and her endless appreciation for food, it’s clear everyone wants JLaw to stick around.
In fact, her personality is so infectious that even her facial expressions are priceless. Constantly making funny faces, wouldn’t it be awesome if every movie intro started with her face? (SOURCE)
I mean, it would just be more exciting…
With her face in the logo, you’d actually wake up and pay attention…
In comparison, this is just boring…
So therefore, JLaw = WIN.
Cats are tricky pets because they ultimately really don’t give a shit about you until it’s feeding time. With that being said, they would obviously make a terrible Valentine. Don’t believe me? Just check out how Pusheen, the cutest illustrated cat around, would spend the day.
While that sounds about right, at least you know your date is cute!

Once upon a time, there was this really beautiful man named Elvis who made his fans LITERALLY swoon when he performed. You might have heard of him. If not, that’s okay, because the modern-day swooners of our time have taken inspiration from Elvis’ “Jail House Rock” for their upcoming music video. Of course, I’m talking about One Direction.
The boy band has been teasing their fans for the past few days with snippets of their latest single “Kiss You.” Based on the footage from the Bring Me to 1D contest, the guys are seen doing strange things on a motorcycle, prancing around in a jail, and dancing on surf boards. This all makes sense.
In the meantime, whilst we wait anxiously for the full video to come out, the guys have blessed us with a convenient lyric video for the song. And I will be conveniently humming this to myself for the rest of my life in a non-apologetic manner.
Listen to “Kiss You” here:
Freaky the Scary Snowman, also referred to as “Frosty’s evil twin,” is really a man dressed up as as angry snowman with a vengeance. It’s also really just a genius prank to instill some unsuspecting fright during the warm, holiday season.
In one of Freaky’s latest adventures, the snowman stands outside of what appears to be a cafe. As people walk on by, they literally scream in terror when the snowman suddenly shifts his billowy body in their direction. But the best reaction, hands down, is from the woman who flips Freaky the bird. That poor, poor snowman.
One week til Christmas!

Hopefully you have gifts sorted out, stocking hung up, lights turned on, tree looking extra snazzy, ugly sweater hanging up, cookies waiting for Santa, fireplace lit, cookies baking and holiday music playing because we are one week away until the happiest day of the year — Christmas! [4uroras]
Well it’s 2012..

You’d think by now, children would be able to text Santa what they want for Christmas. As sad as it sounds, who wants to sit down and write with a pen and paper? It seems as though even my youngest cousins at 3-years-old already has an iPod touch! [miapam]
Rocking in the holidays with Bieber

Justin Bieber was on The Ellen Show Friday and not only did he perform an amazing acoustic performance, he spilled some news! This January, you can expect more music, with a brand new acoustic album! BRB I need a moment to take this in. [infinatemistake]

Imagine having an innocent conversation with your friends on campus — when suddenly, a wild “gator” emerges. Not a real gator, but some dude who has perfected the art of something called the Stare of the Gator. Aka the creepiest act of stalker-like behaviour I’ve seen. If I saw this guy creeping on my friends and I on campus, I’d react a little something like this:
However, in the video uploaded by Pearce Murphy, the victims of the gator stare seem to be rather calm. And rather disturbed by the random act of creepy levels. Rather hilariously, the video is set to the romantic moods of One Republic’s “Stop and Stare.” Cue the irony alert.
It’s clear that the young man in the video is innocently trying to troll his fellow classmates. But I fear for the day when someone tries to fight his stalking-ways.

I can barely contain my excitement for The Hobbit to come out, let alone write something about the highly anticipated film. But what if The Hobbit met with the 1985 gem The Goonies? The epicness is too much for my mind to handle, so I’ll let YouTuber Lance Ford explain.
Basically, in “The Hobbit and Goonies Movies Trailer Mashup!” Ford combines the world of Bilbo with the adventures of Mikey and the gang and before you know it, tears are streaming down your face at the realization that one man has created a match made in heaven. Now some of you are probably thinking this:
But before you diss the idea of Bilbo teaming up with The Goonies, just watch the mashup trailer and imagine the wonderful world of total adventure and discovery that would ensue. With lots of weird creatures along the way, of course.

Jimmy Fallon is no stranger to poking fun at Twilight star Robert Pattinson. He created an entire mini-series of rants in which he pretends to be RPattz complaining about the most mind numbing things. The best part? He puts on a pretty convincing British accent with a head of greasy hair, to boot. In Jimmy Fallon’s latest installment of Robert Is Bothered, “Robert Pattinson” hangs from a tree ranting about his hatred for Thanksgiving. Not only is Robert confused by the random date of the holiday, but he also disagrees with the selection of food usually eaten during the festivities. I thought he was a vampire… vampires shouldn’t be this passionate about human food. Am I right?
In all seriousness, Jimmy Fallon does a pretty impressive job of impersonating the angsty Twilight star. I wonder if the real RPattz feels this passionately about turkey day.

(Yes you do, Robert).
Watch the video here:
I never thought I’d say this, but I’m getting very emotional over a couple of turkeys. This week, President Obama carried on the traditional turkey pardoning that happens around Thanksgiving. Each year, the President pardons a turkey so that they can live long and prosper. Aka not end up in our Thanksgiving feasts. This year, Obama pardoned not one but two turkeys named Cobbler and Gobbler so that they could be set free into the wilderness to live out their turkey dreams. But there is a sad part to the story. Brace yourself.
Last year, the President pardoned a poor soul turkey named Peace. The turkey died this week because of a weekend-long illness, which meant she had to be euthanized. Despite this sad news, people can only seem to focus on the controversial aspect to the story. It seems very mysterious to some that Peace would die in the exact same week that her fellow turkeys were pardoned. They’re probably imagining a scene like this:
Whatever the case, it’s sad that one turkey died while the others got to live.
Watch the turkey pardoning here:
1. Obama’s head on a woman’s body whilst dancing on pizza. Just take that in.

The “no f*cks given” face on Obama is priceless. And now I’m really hungry after watching the spinning pizza.
2. Taking hipster to a whole new level.
Taking your laptop to the park is one thing, but a typewriter? Who are you impressing?!
3. A kind stranger and a dry car.
If a stranger ever did this for me, my soul would be warmed for an eternity.
4. Harry legs.
This is so punny it hurts my soul. So many Harrys.
5. The best air-guitaring Cat ever.

Gusto NYC found this little guy freaking out over nothing. So he gave him a guitar.
Let’s play a game. It’s called “Spot the Booty!!”
2 Chainz released the anticipated music video for “Birthday Song,” featuring Kanye West. In case you didn’t gather from the lyrics, the visuals confirm that 2 Chainz indeed wants a big booty ho for his birthday. We know this because the majority of the video is filled with breast-baring ladies shaking their butts while he raps about his deepest wishes.

Apparently Miranda Cosgrove or Mother Cosgrove is actually the Queen of Tumblr (didn’t you know?). Her fans will do anything for the actress/singer, whether that means supporting her at the Teen Choice Awards, turning her into a wiener or suggesting she’d be spectacular in a Michael Jackson biopic (above). [Source]
Here are some of the weirdest/awesome Tumblr photos of Miranda Cosgrove:
