Posh Not On Board for Spice Girls Come Back

The Spice Girls are reuniting for a full-scale comeback, reports Perez Hilton, but Victoria Beckham, known to fans as Posh Spice, will not be joining her former bandmates in their efforts, saying she doesn’t have the “time or desire” to resurrect the pop group.

Sources say Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Mel C. plan to be on the road in a year’s time.

Bunton is reportedly still not sold on rejoining the group, either. “Emma is being cautious, but the minute she’s with the girls, they’ll talk her ’round,” said a source close to the band.

The girls are reportedly not worried about being able to cope without Beckham, who is married to soccer star David Beckham of the Los Angeles Galaxy. “When Geri left the first time, she was arguably the band’s biggest star. If they coped without her, they are confident they can make it work without Posh,” said the source.

Victoria’s ‘Spice’-y Secret

Planning to buy the Spice Girls’ upcoming greatest hits album? You might want to pick up a new bra while you’re at it.

Victoria’s Secret will be selling the album exclusively when it comes out November 13.

The CD will also be available online at various sites, including the Victoria’s Secret web site and iTunes. Of the 15 tracks, 13 are old favourites and two are new songs, “Voodoo” and “Headlines (Friendship Never Ends).”

The fab five will also join the Victoria’s Secret Angels with a performance at the VS fashion show, airing December 4.

The Spice Girls reunion tour kicks off December 2 in Vancouver.

Geri Halliwell Says Her Baby was Abused

Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell has contacted police to report that her 3-month-old daughter was physically abused.

The singer went to a police station in London, UK on August 18 regarding “an incident concerning her daughter Bluebell whilst in the care of a temporary member of staff,” said the singer’s assistant, Antony Read, according to the Associated Press.

“Bluebell is now happy and well, and there are no further concerns for her welfare,” he added.

Though no one has been arrested, the Metropolitan Police in London confirmed they were investigating claims of abuse against a 3-month-old child.

Bluebell Madonna, born in May, is Halliwell’s first child.

Ginger Spice Has Baby Spce

Geri Halliwell, AKA Ginger Spice, AKA the Spice Girl who left the group, had her first child, a baby girl born this morning, according to MTV UK.

Halliwell’s publicists have not yet confirmed or denied that the birth occurred, but it is believed she gave birth through a Caesarian section at London’s Portland Hospital, performed by Victoria Beckham (AKA Posh Spice)’s obstetrician, with her mother by her side.

Apparently not present at the birth was the baby’s father, Sacha Gervasi, a Hollywood screenwriter, who reportedly left Halliwell after she become pregnant.
