For those who are acquainted with the term, griefers refer to people in multiplayer video games that go out of their way to harass other players in the game in the most aggressive ways possible. This behaviour could include, but is not limited to killing other players, crashing their servers or verbally insulting them.
If you still don’t understand, just watch Deadmau5′ new music video for “Professional Griefers” featuring My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way. The two musicians duke it out through massive robotic machines, in front of thrilled spectators. In the end, there seems to be more than one loser in the battle.
The track is from his upcoming album Album Title Goes Here.

It’s kind of strange that Deadmau5 would release a collaboration with My Chemical Romance’s frontman Gerard Way considering what he recently posted on his blog.
Deadmau5 went on his tumblr account and posted a lengthy rant against big name collaborations: “There’s a perfectly valid reason why I don’t usually enjoy the idea of a ‘collaboration’ … All too often, there’s an influx of ‘big names’ that would get thrown around the label from time to time and of course, they fly off the table and out the f**kin’ door faster than they hit my desk. eg. do you want to do a track with big name X, remix huge pop act y, etc etc.” Then he said: “No. I f**king don’t. I really REALLY don’t.”
The track then appeared online this morning but neither Deadmau5 or Gerard Way have confirmed that they are on it. However, a spokesperson for My Chemical Romance told NME that Way does appear on the track.
What do you think of it?
Although Gerard Way is probably best known as the frontman of My Chemical Romance, fans may also know the singer as the creator of the Dark Horse comic “The Umbrella Academy.” Now, Way’s story is making the leap to the big screen.
Universal Pictures is adapting the comic into a feature film, with “Constantine” scribe Mark Bomback tapped to pen the screenplay, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Besides the 2005 DC Comics adaptation starring Keanu Reeves, Bomback’s writing credits include “Live Free or Die Hard” and the recently-released “Race to Witch Mountain.”
Rocker GERARD WAY has ended months of speculation by confirming he is engaged. The My Chemical Romance frontman’s bandmates have previously claimed the ring Way wears on his left hand was a sign of friendship.
However, Way now admits it’s an engagement band and he is planning to marry his girlfriend Eliza Cuts.
He tells MTV, “The truth is I’m engaged and I’m really excited about it.”
