Boy George Furious After Airline Loses Record Collection

Former CULTURE CLUB lead singer BOY GEORGE was furious after landing in Australia for a celebrity DJ gig only to find out the airline had lost his prized record collection.

The star arrived in Brisbane on Saturday afternoon from Auckland, New Zealand and was informed that his record collection had failed to arrive along with him.

The singer was in town to DJ at new club The Met and was livid when customs officials admitted his valuable albums had been left behind in New Zealand. The furious 45-year-old was overheard telling officials, “You’ve got to be joking!” when the blunder was revealed.

According to Sydney’s Daily Telegraph, the panicked star made an emergency dash to a local record store, where he quickly bought up enough material to get through his gig.

Looks like two-time People sexiest man of the year wants to have a dabble at taking different directions in show-biz.

George Clooney has an artistic reflection about life as a director.

“Directing is the key to filmmaking. Everything else is just paint,” he said.

Clooney was nominated for an Oscar directing “Good Night, and Good Luck.”

He won an Oscar for for Syrina. His latest flick, “The Good German,” co-stars Kate Blanchett and hits theatres Dec. 22.

The 45 year-old actor has been a long-standing bachelor in the scene of Hollywood.

George Clooney Denies Bar Fight

George Clooney has denied being involved in a scuffle with a security guard at a London bar during a gala screening of his new film, Good Night and Good Luck.

The London Evening Standard had published a report that there was trouble for the actor when he tried to use the rear exit of the Meza bar to avoid photographers.

In a statement, Clooney insisted he wasn?t involved in a fight, but was coming to the aid of a woman he believed was being mistreated.

?I won?t stand by while someone is being insulted and maligned,? he said.

A statement from his Los Angeles-based publicist, Stan Rosenfield, said the actor “did not get into a fight with a security guard”, but did “get into an argument with someone connected with the movie.

“While it had nothing to do with the paparazzi, it did have everything to do with someone being unkind to a woman.

“While no punches were thrown, George told the person to knock it off,” the statement added.

A spokeswoman for Meza said none of its security staff had a confrontation with Clooney, but said the actor had hired his own security for the screening.
