Miley Cyrus is getting very serious about supporting gay rights. On Tuesday, Miley tweeted, “The only thing that should matter in marriage is love, why should it matter what gender you are? #LegalizeGayMarriage.”

Miley has also joined the NOH8 Campaign, the silent protest which raises awareness and funds for gay rights causes, including ending California’s 2008 voter-approved gay marriage ban, Proposition 8.

NOH8 was founded by activist Adam Bouska and his partner Jeff Parshley. The pair photograph celebrities and regular people with mouths duct taped and the campaign’s familiar “NOH8” slogan often written on one cheek.

Kris Humphries recently appeared on TV where he called Kim Kardashian’s buddy “gay.” Her buddy is a guy named Jonathan Cheban, and rumours stated circulating he would sue Humphries.

Initially people were saying Cheban would sue Kris for $5 Million, but apparently it isn’t true. TMZ caught up with Cheban and he talked about the situation.

Is Cheban gay? Possibly, but who really cares. However, Cheban has said the accusation “caused me a lot of problems already.” What does that mean? Gay guys have been asking him out?

For years men and women have asked “which way does Zach sway?” and now women everywhere are heard sighing in disappointment. The guy who plays Spock in the Star Trek remake loves…well, something that rhymes with Spock.

He recently came out New York Magazine about his 8 month stint in the theatre production of Angels in America, where he plays a gay man who leaves his AIDS stricken lover.

“As a gay man, it made me feel like there’s still so much work to be done, and there’s still so many things that need to be looked at and addressed,” he says about his role.

His most recognizable roles have been playing a super-villian in Heroes and a USS Enterprise officer in Star Trek but he has played a ton of gay roles on t.v. as well, like in So noTORIous and American Horror Story.

Gay or straight, there’s no denying Zach has both the acting chops and sophistication to be the next George Clooney. Cheers to coming out, Zach!

Ke$ha has teamed up with the Human Rights Campaign to celebrate National Coming Out Day.

The singer created a t-shirt which says “We R Who We R,” which sell for $35 a piece. Proceeds go to the LGBT community, and only 1000 shirts will be produced.

“We’re the only minority worldwide that’s not taught history at home, in school or religious institutions,” said Malcolm Lazin, Equality Forum’s founder and executive director. “Like every group that’s been marginalized, it really helps to make the case why we should take real pride in ourselves and our community.”

Barack Obama spoke to a crowd of gay and lesbian activists about his run-in with Lady Gaga.

Obama said, “I held some productive bilateral talks with your leader. She was wearing 16-inch heels. She was eight feet tall. It was a little intimidating.”

The You And I singer tweeted: “I am meeting with our President. I will not stop fighting. This must end. Our generation has the power to end it.”

While in Atlanta this past weekend, Diddy used some gay and racial slurs while yelling at a club goer. Diddy apologized over Twiiter for his actions.

Diddy explained, “I’m sorry for the ignorant way I repesented [SIC] myself … I have backslid and regressed. Forgive me for my ignorance. Pray for me pls. I know better and I am better.”

He added, “I have a responibility [SIC] that I promise I will live up to. And I’m more dissapointed [SIC] in myself than you know. I will humble myself and learn.”

Too little too late Diddy.

The Game just keeps making matters worse. As we reported earlier, The Game recently made some homophobic comments. Now he is saying 50 Cent is gay.

The Game tweeted the following to TMZ in response to their article about his homophobic comments. The Game said,

“@TMZ but look around, shit I be surprised when I see someone who’s not GAY. My girl hair stylist is GAY & he kool. @50cent GAY n we was kool ”

We don’t think 50 is going to like this one bit, consider he also has made some homophobic comments. It will be interesting to see how 50 responds.

The Game just keeps causing controversy. In a recent interview with VLADTV, the rapper said that closeted gay men spread aids.

He explains that he has no problem with homosexuals, except those who pretend to be straight and sleep with women.

Game says, “The #1 issue with that is you could be fooling somebody and you could give them AIDS and they can die … and that s**t spreads because that girl you might be fooling might leave you and go find another dude who ain’t gay and give him the disease.”

So basically he is saying all gay men have aids. This guy is just digging a very deep hole for himself.

Chris Brown has continued using homophobic slurs, and it seems he hasn’t learned his lesson. Chris was party at a Las Vegas club when this all went down.

“Chris Brown went crazy again in Vegas last night,” a source says. ”He called the manager and the bouncers f**gots and broke a bottle in his fit of anger! He just went off on them. He called them d**ks and told one dude to s**k his d**k!”

Chris took to twitter to continue his tirade towards the club.

“To everybody: never go to club XS in Vegas! They are d**ks! That s**t wack… It was wack!” IM about to go super ham on the VMAs! Just tired of people living in the past!”

Chris – you gotta learn your lesson and chill out.

Adam Levine is on the cover of Out Magazine, where he discusses homosexuality and bad mouths American Idol. 

“What’s always pi**ed me off about ‘Idol’ is wanting to mask that, for that to go unspoken,” says Levine. “C’mon. You can’t be publicly gay? At this point? On a singing competition? Give me a break. You can’t hide basic components of these people’s lives. The fact that ‘The Voice’ didn’t have any qualms about being completely about it is a great thing.”

Levine became passionate about this issue after Adam Lambert claims while on AI he was forced to keep his sexual preference quiet.

Levine also discusses having a gay brother.

“We all really wanted to provide some cushion for him and constantly let him know that it’s OK. A lot of people don’t want their kid to be gay and will fight it all costs, but I’ve got news for you—it’s a losing f**king battle.”

It’s the question every kid wonders from when they are five years old – are Bert and Ernie gay? Well Sesame Street has “come out” to say they are straight.

The show producers issued a statement saying, “They were created to teach preschoolers that people can be good friends with those who are very different from themselves.”

“Even though they are identified as male characters and possess many human traits and characteristics … they remain puppets, and do not have a sexual orientation.”

This controversy became a hot topic after an online petition was started to marry the two characters. However the show creators insist that will not happen.

Bert and Ernie are straight? Well this video says otherwise. Ernie just seems to concerned about Bert’s exercising.

OK – this is now getting overblown. The Human Rights Campaign is speaking out against Chris Brown for his gay comments, telling TMZ his comments were “just plain unacceptable.”

A spokesperson tells the website, “Invoking words meant to demean gay Americans is just plain unacceptable. Chris Brown should know better.”

The rep adds, “He irresponsibly neglected to recognize the impact of his words and the unacceptable message that it sends to couple the word gay with negative actions.”

Here we go again. Everyone really needs to chill out!

Tracy Morgan has finally found someone coming to his defense, and it’s legendary comedian Joan Rivers. Joan says Tracy shouldn’t have to apologize and that there is a new found sensitivity in media and the world.

Joan told The Daily Beast, “He’s not a Mensa comic. He’s not the voice of this generation.” The fellow equal opportunity offender says, “At the very start of my act, I say, ‘Calm down. We’re gonna get everybody.’”

Kind of a tough call regarding Tracy. Granted we think everyone knows he’s joking, but his remarks were pretty offensive.

‘American Idol’ judge and ‘Aerosmith’ frontman Steven Tyler has revealed that he once had sex with a man during his wild youth.

The rocker notoriously enjoyed flings with female groupies at the height of his band’s fame, but despite having four kids and two ex-wives, the star has admitted in his new memoir that he once had a same-sex fling.

In his new memoir, ‘Does The Noise In My Head Bother You?,’ he reveals,”Gay sex just doesn’t do it for me. I tried it one time when I was younger, but I just didn’t dig it.”

Despite this revelation, Tyler says he liked to keep things clean in the bedroom. “As dirty as my mind is, my body’s pretty clean. Kelly (a member of the Aerosmith entourage) always made sure the girls were in the shower when I got in the room. I liked my pulchritude pristine! I can’t kiss a girl that’s been stage diving with 500 other guys.”

Hey, if he can be open and honest about it, power to him. I love that his memoir is not the usual don’t-reveal-anything celebrity memoirs. He actually divulges shocking information, and shares things. And we like new information.

Kobe Bryant along with other players of the L.A. Lakers have made a video encouraging tolerance of other people in a new public service announcement. This video was made after Kobe was caught making an anti-gay slur.

In the video, Kobe says, “There are all kinds of different people in the world. That’s what makes the world special.”

Kobe and his teammates continue, “So whether someone is different than you in race, ethnicity, political beliefs, religion … or sexual orientation … Words could be hurtful.”

Bryant continues, “Replace them with understanding, compassion and acceptance. Let’s make this a better world for all of us.”

Comedy Central’s Roast of Donald Trump supposedly crossed the line last week when Larry King referred to Anderson Cooper as a “she.”

Perez Hilton reports that while introducing Cooper, Larry King said “Let’s see what she’s up to.”

Oh come on! How old is Larry King? It was probably a major senior’s slip, considering he’s like a leathery bat-human hybrid at this point in his life! Plus that’s not even a good joke!

…oh wait, you say this was at a roast? So then it was definitely on purpose then because roasts are never funny even when they try to be.

You heard us! NEVER FUNNY! Donald Trump’s will be just as boring when it airs, so it’s no surprise that mysterious ‘controversy’ is bubbling up surrounding it! We don’t want to say ‘conspiracy theory’ but why else would anyone be watching?

That being said, that was not very LGBTQ friendly Mr. King! We don’t approve.

There’s been much buzz on the internet surrounding Glee’s biggest midseason spoiler – that one of the openly gay characters on the show may not be so gay after all.

Perez Hilton has revealed that the character of Blaine, an openly gay senior played by Darren Criss, is going to have “an encounter with a pivotal member of the opposite gender [in an upcoming episode] … afterwards, he’s forced to consider the possibility that he swings both ways,” according to numerous sources.

If this is true, the show’s decision is a highly contentious one. Darren Criss, who is straight in real life, has caught the attention of many female fans this season and is considered a heartthrob amongst the Glee fan community. Many are accusing Glee writers of making Blaine bi simply to cater to and profit off of Darren’s large female fanbase.

We for one see this as a huge cop-out and a MASSIVE money grab! Blaine is a very confident and self-assured gay boy and it’s been suggested that he has quite a bit of experience under his belt – it doesn’t seem in his character to make him fool around at this point. Though Glee is such a poorly written show in the first place and creator Ryan Murphy is such a massive douchenozzle that it really doesn’t surprise us.

This was the final straw for us. We’re thinking (read:hoping) that Glee’s episodes are numbered at this point.

Although Jason Mraz is engaged to a beautiful singer named Tristan Prettyman, the couple won’t be getting married until gay marriage is legal.

“We both feel that in our engagement, we have a union that’s really special and can’t be broken. It’s a sacred bond,” Mraz told Us Weekly. “The wedding would be nice for our family, our friends, our community — our moms especially — and so it puts us in the fight.”

They refuse to get married until marriage is legal for everyone.

“We can’t get married until [gay] marriage is legal and equal,” the ‘I’m Yours’ singer continued. “I think giving people the right to marry will be a huge movement in civil rights.”

Could this be an excuse for Mraz to delay the marriage? Or is this a genuine stance for human rights?

Chris Brown really needs help to chill out, and he also needs the full time assistance of a public relations wizard. As if Brown didn’t have enough problems with his image, now he has turned to Twitter to use gay slurs.

Chris Brown and Raz-B (who is a former member of B2-K) got into a Twitter scuffle after Raz Tweeted about Brown’s treatment of Rihanna.

“Im just sittin here Thinking how can n**gas like [Eric Benet] and [Chris Brown] disrespect women as Intelligent as Halle Berry, Rihanna.”

Brown immediately lashed back — writing, “n**ga you want attention! Grow up n**ga!!! Dick in da booty ass lil boy.”

TMZ reports that Brown is referring to allegations that Raz made a while back that his band’s manager molested him.

So is Brown homophobic or was he just fighting back against Raz? And is this whole altercation blown way out of proportion?

Kevin Spacey, one of the most gifted and memorable actors of this generation, has long been private about his sexuality and personal life, causing many to speculate that Spacey is a homosexual.

In an interview with Kevin Sessums of The Daily Beast, Spacey touched on the matter and had this to say:

“Look, I might have lived in England for the last several years but I’m still an American citizen and I have not given up my right to privacy.

…People have different reasons for the way they live their lives. You cannot put everyone’s reasons in the same box. It’s just a line I’ve never crossed and never will.

I don’t live a lie. You have to understand that people who choose not to discuss their personal lives are not living a lie. That is a presumption that people jump to. I think this is a very important issue to be discussed. I do. Mainly because of how sad it is that young people in this country—and even around the world where they don’t have the freedoms and rights we do—are being subjected to the kinds of abuse they are being subjected to. That’s what is shameful.”

I’m not trying to insinuate anything that isn’t there, however I think reading between the lines will tell you that Spacey is homosexual, but why is it anybody’s business but his?  To come out and say it would simply be a complete contradiction to the principle that sexuality is a private matter. Spacey may be gay, just don’t ask him about it.

Not that there’s anything wrong with it.
