Carrie Prejean Sued – Hasn’t Paid PR Bill

Carrie Prejean found herself in hot water during April 2009 for comments she made regarding gay marriage. Prejean explained that she was opposed to gay marriage while contending in the 2009 Miss USA pageant.

Those comments lead to a PR nightmare for the California beauty – forcing her to hire a PR firm to help her out. Prejean hired A. Larry Ross Communications, costing Prejean over $64,000, according to TMZ.

However she has yet to pay the bill! Consequently the PR firm has filed suit against Carrie looking for their money. Let’s see her talk her way out of this one.

Rock of Love Star Speaks Out for Gay Marriage

Ambre Lake, the winner of season two of Rock of Love with Bret Michaels, took off her shirt, taped her mouth and wrote “Legalize Gay” on her stomach as part of a demonstration protesting California’s recent ban on same-sex marriage, reports TMZ.

The protest took place in Los Angeles outside the world’s second-largest Mormon temple. It was part of a photo shoot advocating for the legalization of same-sex marriage.

A police officer ended the show, telling her she was causing a traffic hazard.

Princess Diaries’ Heather Matarazzo to Wed Girlfriend

Heather Matarazzo will soon walk down the aisle–with her girlfriend.

The openly gay actress, who played Anne Hathaway’s best friend in The Princess Diaries, recently got engaged to Carolyn Murphy. The couple have been together for over a year.

“It was really cute. First Heather proposed to Carolyn, then Carolyn proposed to her,” says Lisa Jammal, Matarazzo’s publicist.

The engagement might not come as a surprise to friends and family of the couple. Jammal says the two women are very supportive of each other and are totally in love:

“It was love at first sight.”

Matarazzo, 25, is known for playing unpopular misfits. She is best known for her roles as Lilly Moscovitz in The Princess Diairies, and Dawn Wiener in Welcome To The Dollhouse.

George Takei to Wed Partner

More wedding bells are on the horizon after the state of California passed the bill allowing gay marriage.

“Star Trek” alum George Takei has announced on his website that he is ready to marry his partner, Brad Altman.

“Our California dream is reality,” Takei wrote. “Brad Altman and I can now marry. We are overjoyed! Brad and I have shared our lives together for over 21 years. We’ve worked in partnership; he manages the business side of my career and I do the performing. We’ve traveled the world together from Europe to Asia to Australia. We’ve shared the good times as well as struggled through the bad. He helped me care for my ailing mother who lived with us for the last years of her life. He is my love and I can’t imagine life without him. Now, we can have the dignity, as well as all the responsibilities, of marriage. We embrace it all heartily…For now, Brad and I are enjoying the delicious dilemma of deciding where, when, and how we will be married. Marriage equality took a long time, but, like fine wine, its bouquet is simply exquisite.”
