For some inexplicable reason, comic book anti-hero and mercenary decided to spread some joy and cover Psy’s viral hit “Gangnam Style.” He dances all over town and air humps unsuspecting bystanders on the street. However, the best part is when he makes his way into a campus library, dressed in full costume and starts doing the horse-riding move (the same one Psy recently taught Britney Spears).
We’ve seen a few covers so far, including one by The Wanted, a hip mom and another by Matrix superfans. While we’re not tired of them yet, I suspect the amount of covers/parodies might just trump Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe.” So we’ve got a long way to go…

Considering all the raunchy parodies out there, we’d say this is one of the tamer ones. That’s why we’re surprised these lifeguards got fired from the facility in El Monte, CA. City administrators fired them for: “using the facility for private use and wearing uniforms in public while off-duty.” They deemed it “disgusting” and an “embarrassment to the city of El Monte.”
C’mon!
Are you guys tired of Psy’s “Gangnam Style” yet? If not, I foresee a future you throwing the nearest stapler at whoever you see doing the horse-riding dance move. “Stop!” you’ll cry. “I can’t take it anymore!” But they won’t stop and after a couple minutes you’ll start dancing too. Just dancing and crying.
But that’s a long time from now so let’s just enjoy the “Gangnam Style” parodies, covers and spin-offs while we can and save the tissues for later. The newest parody involves these two guys doing pelvic thrusts in various elevators around the city.
While I don’t think it beats the Chatroulette prank we saw yesterday, it’s still pretty funny.
