50 Cent Meets Mandela on G-Unit Tour of Africa

Rapper 50 Cent says that he was “enlightened” after visiting with former ANC (African National Congress) leader and former South African president Nelson Mandela.

50, who is currently on tour in Africa with his group G-Unit got the opportunity alongside MTV to meet Mandela.

He and other members of G-Unit also toured the notorious Robben Island prison where Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years.

“To endure so much and still be as peaceful as he is when you actually see him, I guess you got options, and they can either drive you to become an animal, or you can become what he’s actually become. I mean, there’s a huge significance to Nelson Mandela and his struggle,” 50 said.

Lloyd Banks, Young Buck of G-Unit Arrested

No comments have been made in the arrests of Lloyd Banks(Chris Lloyde) and Young Buck (David Brown), two members of 50 Cent’s G-Unit rap group.

Both were charged with gun possession after performing in Manhattan this week.

It was reported that both rappers were caught by police after allegedly running a red light about 11:30 p.m. on Monday inside a van, which carried at least 10 other men.

Authorities said one of the men had a loaded hand gun and another weapon had been found on the floor of the vehicle.

All occupants were charged. Llyode, 23, and Brown, 24, were released without bail; but at what cost to their “Anger Management 3″ tour?
