Nelly Furtado is married!
The “Maneater” singer revealed in an interview that will air on Entertainment Tonight Canada tonight that she married sound engineer Demacio Castellon over the summer on July 19. Furtado had been recently spotted sporting a new ring on her left hand.
Furtado and Castellon worked together on her 2006 album Loose, and were engaged last July.
Canadian singer NELLY FURTADO plans to put together an “alternative” rock band with music producer TIMBALAND.
The 28-year-old singer – who collaborated with rapper Timbaland and Justin Timberlake for hit single Give It To Me, as well as a series of tracks on her last album Loose – has revealed plans for a new project.
She says, “I don’t think it’d be, like, a real rock band. It’s be more like our version of alternative, so it wouldn’t necessarily be like heavy and guitar-driven. It would be left of field, but not necessarily pop.”
