Chris McMillan, the stylist who created Jennifer Aniston’s famous ‘Rachel’ haircut has admitted that he was totally high when the style was born.
“I’m 14 years sober, so I feel safe enough to say that,” McMillan told WWD.
For the record, Aniston has called the ‘Rachel’ “the ugliest haircut” she has ever seen. Worn during the first and second seasons of Friends, the hairstyle Aniston’s hair has practically help define the 90s.

Well, the winner was actually “Radley Cooper,” and he tied with “Ted Helms.”
In a hilarious skit from Zach Galifianakis’ episode of Saturday Night Live, the wolf pack reunited to compete for the title of Best Jennifer Aniston Look-Alike. Galifianakis’ “Paul” came in a disappointing 8th place, and the hilarity (and Helen Keller jokes) ensued from there. Although he didn’t have the best Rachel haircut, any time Bradley Cooper is being judged on looks, you can basically guarantee he’ll win. Sorry, Paul.
Fans were crushed when Veronica Mars (starring Kristen Bell) was cancelled after three seasons in 2007.
Fans were basically devastated when they didn’t get some form of closure. Now, all the fans prayers have pretty much been answered as a Veronica Mars movie is looking like a very strong possible thanks to Kickstarter.
Kickstarter is a means for people to independently fund their projects by persuading the public to invest, which is exactly what creator Rob Thomas did. According to Thomas, the Veronica Mars movie hit $1 million faster than any project before it. The project passed the $3 million mark on Thursday a little after 7:00 p.m.
If Kickstarter can bring Veronica Mars back, just imagine what it could do for the other small, but strongly beloved, TV shows that got the network’s blade. The crowd-sourcing website might actually be the answer to all of our feelings.

1) Firefly
Okay, so there was a movie, but thats not enough. Fans have too many feelings for them to all be satisfied by one movie. Creator Joss Whedon told Buzzfeed “So I don’t even entertain the notion of entertaining the notion of doing this, and won’t. Couple years from now, when Nathan [Fillion]‘s no longer [on] Castle and I’m no longer the Tom Hagen of the Marvel Universe and making a giant movie, we might look and see where the market is then. But right now, it’s a complete non-Kickstarter for me.” Ouch. Right in the feels Whedon.
2) Ringer
Sarah Michele Gellar starred in the CW’s Ringer for one season before before getting cancelled in 2012. The series finale put all the cards on the table, and fans were never able to see an encounter between the twins Siobhan and Bridget. The show was basically about a pair of twins, one was a psycho murderer who was ruining the life of good twin Bridget. Lame? Not quite as the show was fast paced and intense. So yeah, we need some closure.

Nicki is currently supporting Spears on the North American leg of her “Femme Fatale” tour.
Spears recently praised Minaj, describing her as a “great artist”.
“I think she has a distinct sound when she raps. It really stands out and sets her apart from everyone else. I’m happy she’s able to be on tour with me because that’s just amazing,” she said.
Adele gives her money to charity and loved ones, reports Contact Music.
The jazz and blues singer claims she does so because she knows what it is like to struggle.
The 23-year-old singer claims she has had a tough upbringing, so after skyrocketing to fame, she wishes to help those in need.
“The cash has started trickling in, but I don’t come from any money so I help people. I give money to charity and to friends and family,” she says.
Adele hopes to take a break from making music soon, though, and insists she won’t hire help once she is on vacation.
“I have an assistant but I do my own washing. My auntie cleans for me, but I love a good clean as well,” she says to Britain’s Glamour magazine.
“And when all these squillion pounds come in, I’m having a f***ing break so I won’t need any help… I don’t need assistance getting myself to the pub.”
Just another reason to love her – very humble and hardworking. She definitely deserves a break too, and every penny she earns.
Matthew Perry is returning to rehab, reports Radar.
The ‘Friends’ star, who has struggled with substance abuse in the past, is making plans to go away to “focus on my sobriety.”
The actor released a statement explaining his situation, saying “I’m making plans to go away for a month to focus on my sobriety and to continue my life in recovery. Please enjoy making fun of me on the world wide web.” Aw, I won’t.
Perry has apparently not relapsed but planned the trip “as a proactive measure.” He has been in rehab twice previously for a prescription pill addiction, once in 1997 and again in 2001.
Good for him for dealing with his issues. Substance abuse is not quickly curable, it’s often a life-long issue, so I’m glad he’s being smart about it and taking the precautions he needs to take.
In a recent interview with U.K.’s Red Magazine, Jennifer Aniston chose herself when posed with the, “Who’s your BFF?” question.
“So many, I couldn’t do that,” she said. “I’ll say me!”
If that wasn’t enough ammo for bloggers everywhere waiting to pick on the actress, Aniston also told the magazine, “I’m not a big fan of dating.”
Oh, Jen. Why do you make it so easy to make fun of you? I’m certain the 42-year-old is positively tired of having media portray her as some sad, lonely, woman so here’s an idea: stop talking your love life!
According to USmagazine, her films have grossed more than $1.7 billion dollars worldwide, so why not focus on that? The star also went on to say she would choose love over a phenomenal career, but ultimately she’s looking for a man “balance.”
“You also have to have your own personal love,” said the actress. “What inspires you, what excites you when you wake up in the morning?”
This all reads very contradictory – she’s not interested in dating, but she would choose love over a career, but she also just wants a balance?
Jen has said time and time again that she’s tired of being portrayed as a sad, victim of the Brangelina situation, but continues to talk about it when approached by the press. I don’t think her attempt at trying to play her single status cool is working on anyone though — Jen wants love, plain and simple.
She did, however, have something very true to say about friends.
“Where would you be without friends?” she asked. “The people to pick you up when you need lifting? We come from homes far from perfect, so you end up almost parent and sibling to your friends — your own chosen family. There’s nothing like a really loyal, dependable, good friend. Nothing.”
Well, if I can’t get on board with the rest of it, I do think Aniston would probably be nowhere without Friends.
Courtney Cox is the star of a show called Cougartown, so those who speculated the cane the actress was spotted walking with earlier today and yesterday was part of a storyline, clearly don’t know what a “cougar” is. Google it.
Anyway, Courtney was seen limping around for real yesterday due to minor knee surgery, Perez Hilton is reporting.
The Friends superstar is not going to miss any work or filming time. Apparently the tough demeanour of Monica was no result of good acting.
Elton John is caught in a bad romance!
The pop legend is showering Lady GaGa with more praise than she can shake a stick at. Elton called her “so amazingly polite and respectful” and has reportedly begun a close friendship with the star after their Grammy performance last year.
Elton says:
“I love her, she’s absolutely amazing. We’ve become friends. What I like about the Gaga most is that she’s amazingly polite and respectful to everyone around her. What I loved most about John Lennon is that he was like that. He once gave my mum a lift to the airport and came to my agent’s wedding.
The Gaga is like that. But the greatest thing about her is that she manages to let everyone think they know everything about her but no one knows anything.”
Looks like GaGa got the seal of approval!
Although freshly separated, Courtney Cox is already getting offers to be the face of the cougar lifestyle. Cougarlife.com has offered the actress $1 Million to be the spokesperson for the dating website.
Cougarlife is a niche dating website which matches older women with younger men. Cougarlife believes Cox would make the perfect spokesperson for the website.
According to TMZ, as part of the deal, Cox would agree voice 12 radio ads, appear in 4 TV ads, and make at least 30 public appearances for the CL brand.
Cox has yet to comment on the offer.
Here’s something we don’t think anybody knew – until last night at least. Jennifer Aniston was a guest on “The Daily Show” yesterday where she revealed her and Jon Stewart once dated!
The couple apparently had one date at a New York City Italian restaurant, but the love affair quickly ended after that. Ah well – everything happens for a reason.
If your luck with men isn’t that great, why not try your luck with perfume? The lovely and talented Jennifer Aniston is.
E! Online reports that the former Friends star collaborated with Falic Fashion Group to create a new fragrance. It’s called “Lolavie”, and launches in June, but only in the U.K. Sometime after that, expect to get your own first whiff.
The 41-year-old actress promises that it’s not too heavy as she told Women’s Wear Daily:
“I am not a big perfume-y fragrance fan,” describing the scent as “sexy and clean” and “floral, but not too flowery.” “I want people to go, ‘What is that? You smell great!’ But most of all, I wanted it to smell natural.”
Aniston confessed she “felt like a little chemist” while concocting the scent and dished about the inspiration – but didn’t give away too much. She said that the bottle was inspired for her love of waves and modern architecture, but kept tight-lipped about the name of the scent.
“It’s a long story and honestly it’s too personal to tell,” she says. “But it has special significance.” Aka: Screw you John Mayer and Angelina Jolie.
She isn’t stopping there either, the star talked about expanding the line include other scents, cosmetics or skin-care products. .
“Anything’s possible,” she says.
David Schwimmer has stepped up his game. He is no longer a friend, he is now a fiancé, according to E! online. Schwimmer is set to marry his long time girlfriend, Zoe Buckman.
Schwimmer, 43, best known as Dr. Ross Gellar and Buckman, 24, a photographer, met in 2007 in London. Schwimmer was working on his feature film directorial debut, Run Fatboy Run. They have been together ever since.
Perez Hilton reports Jennifer Aniston will be singing in the upcoming film The Goree Girls, which she will star in and produce. Michael Sucsy will direct the movie, based on the John Lee Hancock novel set in the 1940s about eight female prison inmates in a country band in Texas.
“She can sing. And she’s going to learn how to play the Dobro guitar,” said Sucsy. “These women learned to harmonize and they learned to play instruments. They weren’t these amazing, accomplished singers who banded together. That’s what’s interesting about it. It’s not just like, ‘Hey, you can play the guitar, I can play the piano, I can play the harmonica. Let’s put a band together.’ It’s like, ‘We have to get out of jail, and if we have to put a band together to do that, then that’s what we’re going to do.’”
Courtney Cox says her best friend and former Friends co-star may show up on her upcoming show, Cougar Town, reports Perez Hilton.
“You know, she’s a good friend and I know she loves the show,” said Cox at a press conference. “I’m not going to say she is going to do it because I don’t know. But if Bill Lawrence writes her a character, I’m sure she’ll be glad to do it.”
Cougar Town premieres this fall on ABC and follows Cox’s character, a recent divorcee and mom to a teenage son, as she re-enters the world of dating.
According to Perez Hilton, Jennifer Aniston is in the early stages of developing her own restaurant. Sources say the former Friends star is very passionate about the new venture.
“Jennifer is very passionate about cooking,” said an insider. “She recently had a new kitchen fitted and she loves it. She can cook anything from Mexican meals, to Italian food, to cakes. She does use cookbooks, but mainly they are her own recipes. Everyone says she should open her own restaurant and she said she would love to.”
There’s no word yet on what kind of food the restaurant will serve or when it will open.
The actress, who used to be married to Brad Pitt, is currently filming her next movie, Bounty Hunter, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, with Gerard Butler.
Former FRIENDS star JENNIFER ANISTON has slammed reports she’s had plastic surgery, insisting she simply had a deviated septum fixed in her nose.
Media reports speculated the 37-year-old star had had a nose job after she was seen leaving the Beverly Hills, California office of plastic surgeon DR RAJ KANODIA earlier this month.
Kanodia is reportedly responsible for ASHLEE SIMPSON’s new look and also repaired CAMERON DIAZ’s deviated septum when her nose was broken in several surfing accidents.
Tabloid reports also speculated Aniston had work done on her breasts after she appeared at the People’s Choice Awards earlier this month looking particularly voluptuous.
She tells American publication People, “It’s funny. I had (adeviated septum) fixed – best thing I ever did. I slept like a baby for the first time in years.
“As far as the other (rumours), as boring as it sounds, it’s still mine. All of it. Still mine.”
Aniston says she doesn’t know what it will take to finally put the rumours of plastic surgery to rest adding, “Short of letting everybody have a feel, I don’t know what else to do. I am pretty happy with what God gave me!”
