Teresa Giudice and husband Joe were already having some financial problems, but it appears that the Real Housewives star and her husband could be facing some heftier charges due to fraudulent information in their bankruptcy petition.

Radar Online reports that the couple has been accused of hiding some big ticket assets from the court, including bank accounts, property, vehicles, and a $250,000 payout from Teresa’s book, “Skinny Italian.”

The petition’s overseer, US Trustee Roberta A. DeAngelis, filed an official complaint last week stating that the couple’s claim was riddled with “falsehoods” and included information that they knew was “not true and correct.”

It’s alleged that the Giudicesalso falsified income tax returns to maximize the impact of their filing.

DeAngelis has requested that Judge Morris Stern deny the couple’s chapter 7 bankruptcy claim due to these “false sworn testimonies.”

This guy and his wife are really screwed up. Randy Quaid, the quirky actor who played Cousin Eddie in the National Lampoon movies, is in hot water with the law. Randy Quaid and his wife Evi, missed two court dates this week even after their lawyer assured the court the couple would be present. The couple are being charged with defrauding an innkeeper.

“If they’re picked up in California, they will be put in jail,” Santa Barbara Senior Deputy District Attorney Lee Carter told PEOPLE. “They cannot be released on bail until they come back here and a judge [agrees to] set bail for them.”

“The warrant will go nationwide,” Carter says. “Anyone out there that comes in contact with them can pick up our warrant and start their own felony fugitive case.”

Arrest warrants have been repeatedly sought and later quashed for the Quaids, who were charged last year with failing to pay a $10,000 hotel bill.

They pleaded not guilty in December and were released on $40,000 bail. Carter says that bail has now been forfeited.

Chekezie Eze, who placed tenth on season seven of American Idol, was busted for felony identity theft at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills, reports TMZ. The singer attempted to use “fraudulent means” – possibly a phony cheque or credit card – to make a purchase.

Store security detained him until the police arrived to take him to the Beverly Hills jail. He has been released on $50,000 bail.

Anne Hathaway’s ex-boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, was sentenced Thursday to 4 1/2 years in prison in a Manhattan federal court.

Follieri delivered a statement through an interpreter, in which he stressed that he wasn’t raised with bad values, and started off with good intentions. He also admitted that what he did was wrong and hopes to be forgiven by those he has hurt. He will to not appeal a sentence of less than 63 months in prison.

Follieri was arrested in June and pleaded guilty to 14 counts of wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy in September. Initially, sentencing was planned for December, but the hearing was moved up to Oct. 3 after Follieri was unable to meet his $21 million bail.

Hathaway began dating Follieri in 2004, and the two broke up in June this year. Follieri was arrested in April of this year as well, for trying to pass a $215,000 bad cheque.
