FOXY BROWN’s manager has laughed off reports the rapper is expecting a baby in jail – even though she confirmed the rumours last month (Aug07).
Caught shopping in New York before her recent incarceration, Brown – real
name Inga Marchand – told reporters, “I’m getting married in September. I’m
pregnant.”
But her manager, Chaz Williams, insists she was joking. He says, “She is not
pregnant.”

Troubled rapper FOXY BROWN has been charged with battery and resisting arrest without violence, stemming from an incident in a Florida beauty shop.
The charges were filed against the rapper – real name INGA MARCHAND – on Wednesday in Broward County, Florida.
According to the police report filed after the February 15th incident, Brown threw hair glue at an employee of the shop and then swung her arms in a struggle with a police officer, who was attempting to get her to leave the shop after it had closed.
Last week, Brown was spared jail time by a New York City judge after violating probation she received following a fight in a Manhattan nail salon in 2004.
The 27-year-old was sentenced to probation after that incident and ordered to take anger management classes.

Troubled rapper FOXY BROWN has been banned from a New York City restaurant after regularly eating at the establishment and walking out without paying her bill.
The owner of famed Junior’s Restaurant is furious with the singer, real name INGA MARCHAND, for repeatedly skipping out on her tab.
Owner ALAN ROSEN tells the New York Post, “She comes to Junior’s because she likes the food, but she doesn’t want to pay for it!”
On Friday night, she walked out on a $53 bill, before a member of her entourage came back and offered to pay.
A manager on duty at the time said, “Look, don’t pay for it, just don’t come back.”
The rapper also reportedly failed to pay her $200 bill on Tuesday, and another bill the week before that.
An enraged Rosen says he and his managers have decided to ban her for two reasons, “One, she tries to skip out on cheques and, two, she’s not polite.”
Manager HASTING STRAINROD adds, “First of all, none of the waiters want to serve her because she is known for cursing people out.
“I don’t know, I think she needs therapy. She’s been coming in for years, and it’s always a little drama.”
Brown has had a series of brushes with the law and was ordered to take anger-management classes in 2005 for punching two New York City nail salon workers.
She was also arrested in Florida last month for allegedly spitting on and throwing hair glue at a beauty shop owner.

Rapper FOXY BROWN has been arrested on suspicion of battery and violent obstruction following an alleged disturbance in a Florida beauty shop.
Brown, real name INGA MARCHAND, was arrested on Thursday after the reported altercation in Pembroke Pines and held overnight.
In October, the 27-year-old was sentenced to three years probation for assaulting two manicurists at a New York nail salon in 2004. Brown was also ordered to submit to regular drug testing and attend anger management classes.
In December, she was summoned to court accused of flouting the conditions of her probation. The judge at that hearing warned Brown to comply with the ruling or face a year in jail.

Rapper Foxy Brown pleaded guilty to assault charges on Monday, after she got into an altercation over a $20 manicure.
It appears that Brown, 26, whose real name is Inga Marchand, was charged for a manicure that she never got. The fight broke out when Brown “kicked one employee and smacked a second in the face on Aug. 29, 2004, in an argument over payment for a manicure at Bloomie Nails,” reports MSNBC.
Brown, who showed up late due to a hurricane in Jamaica where she performed, pleaded guilty. She returned to the courtroom and tried to persuade Judge Melissa Jackson to let her reverse her plea. She explained that she had no time to think about it thoroughly and rushed into it too fast. The judge wasn’t lenient at all and told her the guilty plea is still the same.
Brown was able to get a plea deal, which consists of three years probation, anger management classes, monthly reports to the police, and drug testings. Hey, it beats prison.
The case was expected to be resolved in December, but wasn’t after the judge was displeased with Brown’s plea statement. Apparently, Brown did not take enough responsibility in the dispute.
Brown is now scheduled to appear in court on October 23 for sentencing.
