“Never trust a pretty little girl with an ugly secret…” and great ratings!
Drawing in 3.64 million viewers on Monday night, the season one finale of ABC Family’s hit show Pretty Little Liars, entitled “For Whom the Bell Tolls,” is officially the series’ second most-watched episode in total viewers and key demographics, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Take that, “A!”
Among those who tuned in were 1.73 million adults aged 18-49, 1.28 million adults aged 18-34, 1.04 million women aged 18-34, 1.37 million women aged 18-49, and 2.17 million females aged 12-34, lading it the second spot right behind the spring premier for the second half of season 1.
According to Perez Hilton, “Since its first half of the season, the show has grown heaps and bounds in the ratings, going up in key demos like women 18-34 (1.13 million vs. 960,000), adults 18-49 (1.86 million vs. 1.61 million) and females 12-34 (2.21 million vs. 1.91 million).” Not too shabby!
Seeing as how the show has been rated the No. 2 scripted cable series among women 18-34 (1.13 million, 3.3), we can only imagine how many will be tuning in this June to see what will go down next in Rosewood in the show’s season two premier!
