On Monday, Tokyoflash announced the release of Fire, it’s LED-display wristwatch. The watch features a stainless steel face with a series of holes drilled in it. Each hole has two LED light beneath it to represent a particular unit of time. The yellow lights indicate hours 1-12, the red lights represent groups of ten minutes and the green lights show single minutes from 1-9.
The watch is retailing for 12,900 Japanese yen, or appoximately $130 U.S.
Eonline! is reporting that the residences of several celebrities, including Oprah Winfrey, Rob Lowe, Michael Douglas, Ellen DeGeneres, Kevin Costner and Jeff Bridges, are being threatened by a fast-growing wildfire that has broken out in Montecito, California.
The fire started around 6 p.m. Thursday evening and has spread across 2,500 acres. 100 residences have already been burned, and if the fire continues, 1,500 more homes could be at risk.
50 Cent was reunited with his son Marquise on Sunday, after the rapper claimed the boy’s mother had kidnapped him.
When the boy’s house burned down in May, his mother made statements to the press that 50 Cent had not even called to see how his son was. As a result, she had refused to let 50 see Marquise.
According to TMZ, the reunion went off drama-free. 50 will be spending time with his son until the middle of next week, until he must leave the country to film a movie.
50 will be seeing his baby momma again soon – in court. They are due to settle a restraining order in September.
A fire tore through Universal Studios Sunday morning. The blaze broke out just before dawn on a back-lot soundstage, destroying a building housing the King Kong exhibit and threatened the studio’s film fault.
About 200 city and county firefighters joined studio firefighters to extinguish the blaze. Helicopters dropped water onto the burning lot as 100 foot flames overtook the structures. One firefighter is said to be injured, although his condition is yet to be determined.
Eliot Sekuler of Universal Studios said the hilltop theme park was not damaged and would still be open today, which is good news for the MTV Movie Awards. The ceremony is set to take place today, with Mike Myers hosting live from Universal’s Gibson Amphitheatre.
Celebrities expected at the awards are Sarah Jessica Parker, Adam Sandler, Lindsay Lohan, Liv Tyler, Anne Hathaway, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Wahlberg, Jennifer Hudson, James Franco, Paris Hilton, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, Nikki Blonsky, Coldplay and the Pussycat Dolls.
