Youtuber PeterLaComb has shown us the epic failures of soda machines. All he wanted was one soda — but instead he got 5. This might seem like a blessing in disguise, but this epic failure might only lead to a massive stomach ache. By the sounds of the video, it seems like he has a lot of friends. Perhaps he will share these unsuspected sodas with his pals.
When we last caught up with the world of journalism, we were ranting about the best reporter fails of the year. But what happens when the fail comes from the opposite side of the spectrum? KGW-TV met up with a woman who tries to explain her witness account of an incident involving a “vacuum cleaner man,” but she ends up revealing intimate details of her life. Two intimate details to be exact.
I feel bad for this woman who totally derailed from her interview to talk about her boobs and their involvement with the vacuum cleaner man. But she made a great comeback at the end of the interview by poking fun at herself. Here’s hoping her secret love affair with the mysterious vacuum cleaner man lives on in all of its glory.
The Cloverfield-esque filming of this “homevideo” makes it seem fake, but if it’s real, then this is a pretty disastrous prank. Two people were acting out a zombie attack — one of them laid on the ground all bloody while the other crouched over and pretended to eat their limbs.
When the so-called zombie started running away, a passing car caught a glimpse of him while turning right and banged into a parked vehicle on the road. Yikes! Hopefully he has zombie insurance.

A drunk woman, who bears a creepy resemblance to the Overly Attached Girlfriend, pulled a wicked videobomb during a live news report and the journalist handled the situation perfectly. She was reporting from the United States Grand Prix that took place in Austin TX over the weekend and when the woman snuck up behind her and stared into the camera, the reporter said: “Oh yeah, and of course, lots of people drinking down here. Can you tell?” [Source]
Alert the media: Nintendo can be bad for your kids. Actually, don’t alert the media or else they might make a super cheesy newscast like this. This newsreel, circa 1991, shows how anxious parents were about letting their kids play with the new Nintendo video games. “I’m going to say no,” one mom says when asked if she’ll buy her child a Nintendo game. “I’m going to explain to him how people market things to make you spend more money.”
No kidding! Thank goodness I was born a bit too late in order for this parental face palm moment to pass. However, I am a bit cheesed that I missed out on such glorious news reports. Jam packed with bad graphics and old time Nintendo sounds, the news report actually turns out to be unintentionally bad ass. “The company promises better pictures, sound and adventure,” reporter Kent Shocknek says just in time for what has to be the corniest display of graphics I’ve ever seen.

These students all NAILED their respective assignments. Unfortunately, they probably all failed their classes but I hope they at least got bonus points from their teachers for their creativity and out of the box thinking. Their misguided but hilarious answers are under-appreciated in the classroom so I think we should all take a moment to respect their work on the Interwebs.[Buzzfeed]

Not surprisingly, there’s a lot of George Bush clips in this presidential fail compilation. In honour of today’s presidential election, wwideinterweb compiled the most embarrassing fails from presidents over the past few decades. Previously, they put together fail compilations for face plants and gruesome drunk behaviour.

We’ve all done it — pretended to know a song, when really we’re all just noobs with a collection of misheard lyrics. Pleated Jeans recently made an epic compilation of songs with lyrics that are brutally misheard. I may or may not be guilty for some of those Blink 182 failures.
According to the video, these are some commonly misheard lyrics:
“I’ve left some brains down in Africa,” – Toto’s “Africa”
“With the lights out, sex is dangerous. Here we are now in containers,” – Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit”
“Padded bra! Padded br-a-a,” – Van Halen’s “Panama”
“You keep making me reek, yeah, frozen in Cadbury,” – One Direction’s “One Thing”
“Come on Barbie, let’s go potty,” – Aqua’s “Barbie Girl”

Part of South Korea’s plan to destroy America, the “Gangnam Style” weaponized song works slowly but effectively. This roof party nearly collapsed into a parking garage as everyone danced along with Psy’s viral hit. If I was the person recording that video, I’d definitely get myself and my car out of there.
Canadian Sportsnet reporter Ian Mendes was just about to go live on TV when ge got beaned with a baseball. The hit looked super painful but dude was a total pro and carried on like nothing happened. He indulged in a few seconds of unhinged pain before he was counted in to do his report live. Well done sir.

In dumbass fails of the day, these two dudes decided it would be a great idea to film an epic rope swing manoeuvre in the middle of nowhere, presumably so they could be praised by legions of typically brutal online commenters as brave Internet #WIN gods (it’s a thing). Instead, the dude who swung off the rope decided to let go midway through to gracefully dismount like Gabrielle Douglas. Instead he landed on his back. That’s the first 15 seconds of the video. The next 30 seconds are consumed by the newly christened #FAIL maestro trying not to yack on the ground.
If you’re one of those fame-seeking baseball fans who likes to go to the game partially so you can get on the jumbo-tron, this is NOT how to do it. Unless you want the video to be immediately uploaded to YouTube so you can become a viral video star. Then go haead.
This fan made blowjob gestures behind home plate for nearly a full minute before the camera stopped rolling. We’re guessing the cameraman either didn’t notice or he thought “screw it,” this is way more interesting than what’s happening on home plate.

It’s the end of the month. You know what that means! It’s time for your monthly fail compilation. And this month there are two!
August does not disappoint on the fail spectrum, unless you’re really squeamish around violence/injuries/blood/possible death because both of these videos are full of all that. Consider this a disclaimer.

ANDPOP’s “Dumbass of the Week” is this genius who decided it would be great idea to pee on an electric fly swatter. Predictable results occur.
Note: “Dumbass of the Week” isn’t ACTUALLY a column on this website. But we specially created it for this week only because this guy really earned the title. Good job!!
We all have those nerve-racking moments, whether it be your wedding day, being in front of a large audience or talking live on-air. Sometimes it’s caused by stress, standing way too long, dehydration etc., but when you see it happen to someone, it can either be scary or hilarious at the same time.
Of course, all these situations being mashed up in an ultimate compilation makes it so much funnier, even though I cringed a few times. Hopefully those falls didn’t cause anything other than a few bruises and I’m still wondering if that couple did end up getting hitched?
