I’d assume that most of us prefer to be woken up with an alarm clock, maybe a beautiful sunrise or maybe a rooster, depending on where you’re from. But there’s no way anyone would want to wake up like this! In a YouTube video uploaded by clipnationdotcom, these pranksters shake up unsuspecting sleepers by dunking their victims in pools, slamming them against walls, and shooting at them with fireworks. In spite of the very mean pranks, I could not stop laughing! HILARIOUS. I wonder if these victims ever got back at their prankers? Hmmm… that’s another video I’d like to see.
TLC has topped itself once again on the douche-0-metre with their new show Extreme Cougar Wives. Yes TLC, of Breaking Amish, Honey Boo Boo and Virgin Diaries. The new show follows “extreme cougars” who are sleeping with men a third their age.
Part of me is interested in hearing about these quirky couples who break the social norm but another part of me hates that TLC aka “The Learning Channel” is thriving off these reality shows that enable you to gawk at people who are different than you — rather just learn about and appreciate them. It’s not exactly the topics TLC covers that bothers me, it’s how they edit it all together in their glitzy package.
In the teaser, 76-year-old Hattie says: “My lifestyle is extreme.” Then she sits on the lap of a 25-year-old and later licks a popsicle and tells her date she enjoys being naked. While I appreciate their attempt at showcasing different relationships they always do it in such a cringe-worthy way.

MORE THAN WORDS hitmakers EXTREME are fuelling reports of a full reunion after two recent get togethers a month apart.
The group, fronted by Gary Cherone and Nuno Bettencourt, performed together at a Metal Skool show in Los Angeles last month and the original line-up reunited for a New York benefit concert in honour of music manager Steven Hoffman earlier this month.
Since the group split in 1996, Cherone has fronted Van Halen, while Bettencourt has been part of a number of groups and currently plays guitar in Perry Farrell’s new group Satellite Party.
Bettencourt is currently writing material with Journey frontman Steve Perry.
