Ever since Taylor Swift said her new song “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” is about an ex-boyfriend we’ve all been feverishly placing bets on who it’s about. Usually the guesses are on ex-boyfriends like John Mayer, Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner or Jake Gyllenhaal. But the host of the 2012 VMAs is convinced it’s about him.
In a new promo for the awards show, Kevin Hart accuses T-Swift of airing their dirty laundry in her new song. Thing is, they’ve never ever dated. And they only met one time two years ago.
We don’t really blame Hart. Everyone is pretty much T-Swift’s BFF (best friend forever or boyfriend forever) in their head. But this might make things a tad awkward at the VMAs, no?
Swift will perform her new song at the MTV VMAs on Sept. 6.
Watch it here:
Apparently, being a terrible boyfriend and causing your girlfriend to take out her emotions in the form of phenomenal song lyrics means he deserves royalties to the album when it makes it big. Or at least, Adele’s ex-boyfriend seems to think so!
It’s no secret that her latest album, 21, is laden with hints to her past relationship. However, according to Perez Hilton, the British singer’s ex-boyfriend is now saying that he was the man behind the hurt from her debut album, 19, and therefore feels that he deserves a cut of her royalties to the tracks for being their inspiration. Really?
“For about a week he was calling and was deadly serious about it,” Adele said according to The Sun. “Finally, I said ‘Well, you made my life hell, so I lived it and now I deserve it.’ He really thought he’d had some input into the creative process by being a prick. I’ll give him the credit – he made me an adult, and put me on the road that I’m travelling.”
Looks like you did the right thing in calling the relationship quits, Adele! This one seems like a real winner. But as much as we want to hate him, we have to admit that it is thanks to him we have so many amazing songs from this British artist. Is it enough for him to deserve money for it? We think not – at all! You put her through so much, let the girl have the recognition she deserves!
JWoww allegedly has a bad temper. So bad that she is accused of stabbing her ex-boyfriend/manager in the arm, resulting in 57 stiches.
“I looked down at my arm and my entire arm is cut open — she literally stabbed me with a knife,” Tom Lippolis said in a video interview with Star Magazine.
The alleged incident happened in March 2010 after JWoww posed in a provocative photo with another woman. This is only one of many incidents that Lippolis says that happened.
We want to know why the fight broke out? Was Tom upset JWoww posed nude in a hot photo? Perhaps he’s a religious man.
Are people EVER going to learn that taking off their skivvies is going to result in mucho extortion in their future?
The latest victim of the sex tape fame machine is everyone’s favourite dirty Myspace ho, Tila Tequila. Apparently one of Tequila’s ex-boyfriends has dug up some old family vacation footage and, to put it delicately, there’s some P-inside-of-V action.
“He said he’ll put out the tape unless I pay him $75,000,” Tila told Radar Online, apparently flabbergasted at her ex-lover’s “audacity to not only betray me…but to use [the tape] to exploit me and hurt me.”
75K, Tila? Surely the royalties from your radio-ready hit “Stripper Friends” can cover that! …no? Well, how about your Shot at Love cash? …wow, you don’t have that either? Yikes!
Tequila has hired a small army of lawyers to tackle the extortion case adding that she will “make sure he goes to jail for this.”
It’s not that Tila is against starring in the skin flicks – quite the opposite! She’s actually just settled a deal with mega porn empire Vivid Entertainment to star in one of their upcoming masterpieces.
Hmm, could the homemade footage have captured Tila doing something extra nasty? What do you think?
Lady Gaga made a fortune last year, somewhere in the neighborhood of $62 Million. Now everyone is looking to cash in on the cash cow.
Lady Gaga’s former producer and boyfriend Rob Fusari recently settled a $30 Million lawsuit with the superstar. However singer songwriter Wendy Starland claims she introduced Fusari to Gaga, and wants her cut according to Forbes.
Starland filed suit on Friday in Newark Federal Court claiming that in 2005, Fusari asked her to find a “unique female singer, under the age of 25, who could be the female equivalent of the lead singer of the band The Strokes.” Starland says Fusari promised her that “if she could find and introduce him to such a singer, they would work together to develop the singer and share equally in any revenues earned as a result.”
Starland further claims she was cut out of the deal once Gaga got signed, and now is looking for her share. There is no comment yet from Fusari.
Lady Gaga may be “k-kinda busy” on tour supporting The Fame Monster, but she still made time to file a lawsuit against her ex-producer Rob Fusari, claiming she was tricked into signing a deal with the now ex-boyfriend and ex-collaborator, reports Rolling Stone.
Fusari filed a $30 million lawsuit against Gaga, claiming that he is owed royalties and merchandising fees after he allegedly created the name “Lady Gaga” and co-wrote four tracks that appeared on The Fame, including the smash-hit “Paparazzi.” Fusari blamed the pop princess for breaching their 2006 contract.
