After months of waiting, crime drama The Place Beyond the Pines starring Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper and Eva Mendes FINALLY has a trailer.
Joining forces with Blue Valentine director Derek Cianfrance once again, Gosling channels a mysterious motorcycle stunt driver who robs banks to support his sometimes lover (Mendes) and the baby boy he fathered. But as he becomes the target of a rookie cop (Cooper), the confrontation determines his fate.
If anyone remembers watching Drive, Gosling’s character will seem very familiar. However, the story here is much deeper and more emotional. I had the chance to catch this flick during its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this past September. Although it was a bit long, I was extremely impressed by what I saw and LOVED the performances. Gosling was amazing as usual, but Bradley Cooper was the actor who impressed me the most.
The Place Beyond the Pines will be released on March 29, 2013. Packed with an all star cast, the film also stars Ray Liotta, Dane DeHaan and Rose Byrne.
Hey girl, I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news but our future husband Ryan Gosling might permanently be off the market.
That is, if OK Magazine‘s sources are to be believed.
According to the magazine, Gosling is just “itching” to marry Eva Mendes, his girlfriend of just over a year. He’s reportedly “head over heels” in love with the actress and is trying to persuade her to walk down the aisle. Mendes on the other hand, apparently has no interest in getting married.
“It’s something Eva has balked at in the past, but Ryan has a charming way of helping her see a different kind of future. She’s getting on board with the idea of marriage,” revealed the insider.
The couple got together after meeting on the set of their film “The Place Beyond the Pines.” Since then, they have been inseparable and were even spotted at his mother’s graduation in Canada.
While I’m no particular believer in tabloids unless there’s legitimate truth, the first thing that ran through my head upon hearing this news was, “NOOOOOOOOOOO!”
Don’t get me wrong. I’ll be happy for the couple if they plan on getting married. But having loved Ryan since his Breaker High days, I will definitely feel just a tiny bit of sadness.

Whoa, hold on everybody, take a breath. We can all get through a potential Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes breakup together and probably very fast. Rumors are swirling today, with some media outlets reporting that the couple are breaking up, others saying it’s a rumor and still yet, others saying they’re on a break.
It was reported earlier today that the couple are on the rocks after he was spotted having dinner with another woman — a ‘sexy blonde German’ to be exact. Let me take a moment to get over this…. okay done.

The 37-year-old actress met Ryan on the set of “The Place Beyond The Pines” last year and have been hot and heavy ever since. Eva couldn’t help but rub it on all our faces in the March issue of Marie Claire.
“He’s your dream costar. I have never felt so creatively satisfied on a film. He’s amazing,” she says.
Eva refrained from going any further. She didn’t say whether or not she plans on getting married or having kids with the “Notebook” hunk. For all our sake, Eva should keep that information to herself.
For the past decade, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker have gotten paid millions of dollars to act poorly and drive around in a bunch of fancy cars.
It’s hard to imagine a seventh “Fast & Furious” film is already in the works. Vin Diesel just confirmed the news today with The Hollywood Reporter.
“With the success of this last one, and the inclusion of so many characters, and the broadening of scope, when we were sitting down to figure out what would fit into the real estate of number six, we didn’t have enough space,” he tells the Magazine.
It must be really hard to come up with an original storyline after five films have already made. Every “Fast & Furious” film follows the same pattern: Vin and Paul hang out, race some cars, pick up some chicks and fight off the bad guys. Paul and Vin win the fight and get to take the hot chicks home. The end.
Movie goers aren’t bothered by the fact that the last movie, “Fast Five” had a dull storyline and bad acting, because the movie ended up grossing $626 million worldwide.
Diesel doesn’t confirm with The Hollywood Reporter on whether the sixth and seventh films will be played as a two-part film (like Twilight’s Breaking Dawn) or separately. No word on whether or not Eva Mendes will return to the franchise, either. Judging by how buzz-worthy the actress is right now, it’ll probably help with the box-office sales.
In a special Funny Or Die holiday video, Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendez and Jim Carey act out a drunken retelling of the poem “Twas The Night Before Christmas”. The narrator, Allan McLoud, consumed half a bottle of whiskey and read the poem aloud while the hollywood stars interpret his drunken mumbles and slurring.

It seems the two have been dating for a while but trying to keep it a secret. Just Jarred also shows the two driving around Hollywood in early October.

It’s every citizen’s worst fear: a cop who willingly and continuously breaks the law; and even worse, a cop who gets away with it. Yet somehow, Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans is still an enjoyable watch.
Directed by Werner Herzog, Bad Lieutenant tells the story of Terence (Nicholas Cage), a rogue detective who is equally as devoted to his job as he is to scoring illegal drugs. Taking place in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the film follows Terence as he tries to find the drug dealing killer of a low-income family, all the while smoking and howling like a mad man.
Appearing high and/or delusional in every scene, Terence wields his gun, flashes his badge, and threatens everyone around him to get what he wants. And most of the time what he wants is drugs. He steals drugs from young couples at nightclubs, makes drug deals with the criminals he is supposed to be arresting, smokes drugs in front of just about anyone, and even carries around a lucky crack pipe.
Eva Mendes has reportedly caught on to the hottest Hollywood trend: checking into rehab.
But the 33-year-old actress is refusing to go the same route as her peers and publicly announce what issues she is seeking treatment for at the facility.
Mendes checked in to Utah’s Cirque Lodge, where Lindsay Lohan and Mary-Kate Olsen have also spent time, several weeks ago to deal with “personal issues.”
“Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support,” a rep for Mendes said, according to E! News.
“Out of respect for Eva’s privacy, we do not wish to discuss further details.”
The news broke hours after Calvin Klein announced that Mendes would be their spokesperson for an upcoming global advertising campaign and a forthcoming fragrance.
The company has gone on record to say that it has no plans to replace the actress.
