The boys of One Direction have finally met their match as they helped to unveil their new Madame Tussauds wax figures on Thursday.
The boys got a little silly as they were posing with their wax counterparts in London, England with Liam Payne opting to pick the nose of his new friend.
The boys also tweeted this from their group account:
1D waxworks have hit @madamtussauds! If you’re off to London we want to see your pics of the (waxy) guys. 1DHQ x twitter.com/onedirection/s…

It seems like today is the day for big name Hollywood health problems.
Justin Bieber was performing in London again this evening when, halfway through the show, he started experiencing difficulty breathing on stage, and according to eye-witnesses, even collapsed on stage!
But, being the trooper that he is, Justin somehow managed to finish the performance (against his doctor’s advice). His rep released a statement saying,
“He got oxygen from emergency personnel. He insisted on finishing the show. He is on his way to the hospital right now.”
He really must love his beliebers!! Let’s hope nothing is seriously wrong. I can’t bear to think about that beautiful face of his in pain.
Press day for any entertainer is a total bore. You’re stuck in one room for a whole entire day where you must spend your time is answering the same three questions as shot out by journalists (trust us, we know the questions suck but we’re obligated ask). So of course we’re going to love it when a journalist and star both decide to go off the rails and have a normal conversation.
Enter Mila Kunis.
Just to set the record straight, Kunis was everyone’s imaginary BFF before Jennifer Lawrence hit it big with the Hunger Games. Kunis is a natural when it comes to interviews—befriending journalists, confessing that yes, people do shout “Shut up, Meg!” at her on the streets, and being on the ready when it comes to defending her friends whether it’s in english or Russian.
So yeah, she was total cool when BBC1′s Chris Stark just wanted to shoot the shit with her and eventually, tried to ask her out. For the record, she seemed like she total would’ve said yes if she wasn’t working.

Fifteen pianos were placed around Cambridge, England and this little prodigy found one of them. Despite his presumably small hands, he manages to play a beautiful rendition of “La Campanella” by Franz Liszt, drawing a small crowd of impressed onlookers.
The pianos are part of a traveling British urban artwork by Luke Jerram called “Play Me, I’m Yours.” The instruments are available in bus shelters, parks, markets and even on ferries for the public to play and enjoy. While it’s currently in Cambridge, the pianos will move to Hangzhou in China in November, and Munich and Boston in 2013.
I love that the pianos are bringing people together through music and showcasing some local hidden talents.

Gabriel is in for a lifelong treat of sisterly advice. The two-year-old takes an earful from his older sister, who tells him that he needs to toughen up. The best part is that, apart from an apathetic appearance of his tongue, Gabriel just sits there and stares miserably into the abyss of his future.
From what I can gather, the older sister is lecturing Gabriel (in an ADORABLE British accent) that he shouldn’t be fighting with boys who are stronger than him. She even pulls the mum and dad card on young Gabriel. I’m not sure if I should admire this little one for being the best sister ever, or fear for Gabriel’s future. Ideally both.
Simon Cowell may have crushed more spirits than he can count, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a heart. Cowell has donated $80,000 to help U.K. riot victims.
Britain’s Express Newspapers group has set up a fund to help riot victims. The fund has gained the support of Cowell, and other celebrities.
“A lot of families and businesses desperately need some help right now and I back any campaign which achieves this,” said Cowell.
See, Cowell isn’t completely evil.
Two men have been arrested for an apparent Joss Stone murder plot, reports CTV.
The two were found near the home of R&B singer Joss Stone in Cullompton, southwest England, on suspicion of conspiracy to rob and murder.
Police officials say the men were aged 30 and 33, and were arrested Tuesday after residents reported a suspicious-looking vehicle.
The men “had in their possession information relating to an individual in the Cullompton area and items which lead us to suspect that they may have intended to commit a criminal offense,” says Detective Inspector Steve Parker.
Stone’s publicist says she was apparently aware of the arrests and is being updated by the police. Police did not confirm that Stone was at home when the incident occurred.
The Sun newspaper claims, although not confirmed by officials, that the men had swords, rope, a body bag, and maps and aerial photos of Stone’s property.
The men are currently in custody. This is a scary story, especially if what the men had is true – a body bag? aerial photos? That’s a whole other level of stalking. Glad she’s okay.
It looks like word of the bad economy has finally reached Buckingham palace!
British Royal Prince William and his fiancé, Kate Middleton, have decided to skip the garish, expensive honeymoon following their spring wedding. Instead, the pair have opted for a trip to the picturesque but geographically convenient Isles of Scilly just off the coastal town of Penzance.
Gotta love those lighthouses!
It’s been said that this vacation choice was not only easier on the royal family’s wallet but also made the security detail surrounding the couple far more manageable. After the recent attack on Charles and Camilla, the last thing the royal family needs is another dangerous breach.
It should be a trip down memory lane for William, who used to vacation in the isles when he was younger with brother Harry and his royal parentals, Charles and Diana.
The couple will wed on April 29th at Westminster Abbey.
Crashing plates, falling rain, honking horns, chirping birds. To the average person, these are just everyday sounds. But to CJ Young, they are inspiration.
The 27-year-old musician from London, England is using his fascination with the sounds of daily life to take music in a whole new direction.
“The way I work basically is I get really hungry for new sounds,” Young told andPOP over the phone from New York, where he is currently supporting his EP, Buds. “One thing that’s really exciting me [right now] is I was in my flat a few months back and I just heard this almighty, gigantic [crashing plates] noise and it was a rich sound … I’ve got this place with a concrete floor to start smashing plates on the floor for my next project.”
Isn’t Twitter amazing? An English band like Fanfarlo can be playing a show in let’s say Baltimore. They send out a Tweet that they need Tylenol and boom – fans are delivering them medication to the show! But why do fans love their music? Because their fuse sounds is unique and its not just fans who love them – critics are too.
Despite glorifying sexual pleasures in her music, Lady Gaga is living a celibate lifestyle and is encouraging her fans to follow her example, reports MTV News.
Gaga’s self-imposed sex ban is a result of her not having the time to get to know anybody.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this – don’t have sex,” Gaga said, while visiting England to promote MAC’s Viva Glam campaign. The campaign supports global HIV and AIDS projects.
“So it’s OK not to have sex, it’s OK to get to know people,” Gaga said. “I’m celibate, celibacy’s fine.”
Only back-to-back films remain in the beloved Harry Potter series, and everyone could not be more excited for them, except for the main star of the films, Daniel Radcliffe, reports MTV News.
“It will be very sad when it comes to a finishing,” Radcliffe said. “But it’s something you have to accept.”
The first “Deathly Hallows” film will not hit movie theatres until November of this year, and the second film will arrive in July 2011. So, the fans will not have to worry about saying goodbye to Harry Potter for quite some time.
However, Radcliffe has already begun to say the goodbyes to some of his co-stars. He has been with some of them for past nine years.
Amy Winehouse was arrested and charged in Thames Valley, England Wednesday in connection to an assault that happened on Saturday. MTV reports that Winehouse turned herself into police accompanied by her lawyer and was arrested.
An exhibit dedicated to Swedish pop band ABBA is planned to open in London Jan. 27 at Earls Court, reports CBC.
ABBAWORLD will consist of 25 rooms of memorabilia, behind-the-scenes material and exclusive music. Visitors will get a chance to perform with 3-D holograms of the band members and incorporate themselves into an ABBA video or poster.
“On behalf of Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny and I, we are delighted to be part of ABBAWORLD and to have the opportunity to share our amazing experiences with our fans,” said band member Frid Lyngstad. “The interactive elements mean this is the first time we can actually take (fans) on the journey with us. London has a special place in all our hearts and we are looking forward to the world premiere of ABBAWORLD in January.”
U2 will be headlining the 40th Glastonbury music festival in England next summer, reports CBC. The Irish band will take a break from its North American tour to appear at the festival for the first time on June 25.
“At last the biggest band in the world is going to do the best festival in the world,” said Michael Eavis, head of the festival. “Nothing could be better for our 40-year party, and there are even more surprises in the pipeline.”
Yes you read that correctly – Imogen Heap used her ass (butt, behind, rear end, whatever you want to call it) as an instrument on her latest album. You gotta admit that’s pretty unique and a little bit unexpected. We spoke about that and more during a recent Toronto stop. You can also catch her in Toronto on November 26th as the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.
We remember meeting Cascada a couple of years ago when she was not quite as big, but we do remember her being hot and very friendly. The same remains except she now rules the dance charts with her latest release “Evacuate The Dancefloor”. What did we learn from this interview? The key to being on the road according to Cascada is Red Bull.
