This Sunday (Nov. 25) Justin Bieber will be interviewed on Oprah’s Next Chapter at 9 pm, the exact same time Lindsay Lohan will be premiering as Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime movie Liz & Dick. Can’t figure out which one to watch? I know how you feel.
Check out our list below and be sure to set your TiVo for whichever one you miss.
Watch Bieber on Own if you like:
Celebrity gossip — If you’re constantly keeping tabs on the latest celebrity news watch Bieber. While the segment was filmed before his presumed breakup with Selena Gomez (note: they were photographed out together after the news) he still provided insights into their relationship. He said they occasionally take back exits or use decoys but he never makes her separate from him. “I don’t want her to ever feel like I’m ashamed of her,” he said. ”A lot of guys do that — especially in the business — they don’t want to be seen with the girl, so they make them ride in separate cars and do all that getaway stuff.”
Backstage looks at the Believe tour — Oprah went backstage to the sold-out concert in Rosemount, Illinois and got an exclusive look at the inner workings. She also got a glimpse of what it’s like to be One Less Lonely Girl.
Keeping an updated list of your idol’s marriage plans — Justin Bieber revealed to Oprah he plans to walk down the aisle by 25. Oprah encouraged him to rethink that plan because he’s too young for such a big commitment — especially in a fast paced industry. ”Because your whole 20s is about discovering who you really are and you owe that to yourself, particularly because you are in the business that you’re in, and it’s not a lot of self-discovery time because so much is already defined for you,” she told him in the interview. Justin said he’ll think about it.
Subliminal advertising — Oprah managed to work in her some of her unofficial favourite things (score) by taking Justin shopping and sharing some gift-giving tips.
Watch Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor if you like:
Fledging stars making a comeback — Lohan is getting her share of bad reviews but if she pulls of Taylor’s charismatic yet mysterious allure it’ll be the comeback story of the year. Unfortunately, I don’t think it will happen but it’s always fun to hope, right? And she’s not in jail, so that’s a start. Producer Larry A. Thompson told Hollywood Reporter: “We had to get through quite a bit, and making a movie with Lindsay Lohan is not for the faint of heart. During production I certainly turned 50 shades of white, but we got it in the can and I think it’s good.”

Well that was short-lived. After dying her hair black for the upcoming Elizabeth Taylor biopic, Lohan quickly returned to her red locks. She was spotted at the hair salon on her 26th birthday after a whopping FIVE hours in the colourist’s chair. Her new look inspired part two of “Stop Everything, Lindsay Lohan is a Redhead Again,” the mundane series that chronicles the demising star’s hair colour.
Let’s take a moment to mourn her dark hair. Kay, Done.

In the world of celebrity news, there’s no shortage of hits and misses. This week, Ryan Gosling is the perfect son at his mom’s grad and One Direction fans hide in the garbage for FOUR hours.
HIT: Ryan Gosling goes to mom’s graduation, brings Eva Mendes
Ryan Gosling continues to show the world just how perfect he is, by showing up at Brock University to watch his mom cross the stage to scoop up another degree. Gosling also brought girlfriend Eva Mendes for the occasion. He made an appearance at McMaster University last year, yelling, “love you, mom! You’re the best mom, ever!” as his mom picked up her a bachelor’s degree. He loves his mom, he saves journalists, and he stops fights. Perfection.
MISS: One Direction fans hide in garbage bins for four hours

My favourite thing about reading One Direction news is reading all batshit crazy stunts fans pull just to catch a glimpse of their idols. Take for instance, hiding in garbage bins for four hours (they were caught, Zayn told the The Mirror). Or, kayaking across a lake. Or, ripping clothes off of Niall and Liam, and starting a riot in New York. Teenage girls everywhere: control thy hormones.

Here she is. Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor is topping the celebrity headlines this morning. These are the first shots of her in full hair and makeup. And the hair is completely her own — she had it cut and dyed to look just like Taylor’s hairstyle.

In the world of celebrity news, there’s no shortage of hits and misses. This week, People magazine names Beyoncé the world’s most beautiful woman, and Harry Styles gets a new girlfriend while breaking teenage hearts along the way.
HIT: The Wanted kill it on the Today Show
To celebrate the American release of their album, the British boy band performed their smash hit, “I’m Glad You Came.” The boys kept it clean and didn’t talk about the song’s true meaning. Excuse me while I giggle while watching my other favourite dirty boy band songs, O-Town’s “Liquid Dreams” and B44’s “Get Down.”
MISS: Harry Styles caught kissing a model

Sorry ladies, Styles may have been taken off the market. Styles was caught smooching 18 year-old American model, Emma Orsilly in New Zealand last weekend. It could be worse — he may have contracted chlamydia from a koala.
HIT: Beyoncé named The World’s Most Beautiful Woman

People magazine have dubbed the singer as the World’s Most Beautiful Woman for 2012. I can’t believe it took them this long to do it. Beyoncé is FLAWLESS.
MISS: Justin Bieber pens a song for his own “Billie Jean,” Mariah Yeater

The heartthrob told reporters in London his new album will include a song about Yeater, the 20 year-old who accused the Biebs of fathering her child late last year. The paternity case may have been thrown out, but expect a watered down version of “Billie Jean” in the upcoming months. Read more…

I think this French artist Pascal Witaszek missed his calling in the film industry. If there were more people like him in Hollywood maybe we wouldn’t have to suffer through doozies like John Carter and Journey 2.
The artist created this fake poster for a hypothetical Ron Howard biopic about Walt Disney, starring Ryan Gosling. Does anyone else think this is a great idea with perfect casting? Though, I don’t know if Disney would be the most objective studio to handle the movie.
Another great idea in his bio-series? Olivia Wilde would be a better fit for an Elizabeth Taylor biopic than Lindsay Lohan.

Lindsay Lohan is making a career comeback at 25, when most people are freshly starting entry-level jobs. Her five year plan includes an Academy Award. When Lauer asked where she hopes to be at 30 she said: “Hopefully, I’ll have just come from the Oscars this past weekend.”
Lohan’s relapsed so many times in the past so is it bad that I’m routing for a comeback? I actually think she’s starting on the right food by parodying her behaviour this weekend on Saturday Night Live. She’ll also be tackling Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime movie.
Will this be a Drew Barrymore transformation or is she bound to head back to the party train?
Not long after it was announced that Lindsay Lohan will host an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live, there are reports that she’ll play classy dame Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime movie.
“Liz and Dick” will focus on Taylor’s up and down marriages to actor Richard Burton. I wasn’t sure what to think of the project at first but if it’s done properly it could be the probation diva’s comeback role. The 25-year-old is a fine actress, it’s just her private life and brief jail stints that have caused colleagues to call her unprofessional.
As always, there’s a catch. Access Hollywood reports she’ll only be allowed to take part in the movie if she obeys the judge’s orders relating to her 2007 conviction for driving under the influence.
Do you think she’ll make it?
I can’t say forsure, but I”m going to venture a guess that the term “fashionably late” was moulded in the spirit of divas like Liz Taylor.
Liz was always known to make a grand entrance, and in poetic fashion, after the legendary actress passed away earlier this week, she made a grand exit.
According to Perez Hilton, Liz specifically and hilariously requested her funeral procession begin about 15 minutes after people arrive, so the actress could essentially be fashionably late to even her own funeral. Lindsay Lohan was reportedly 16 minutes late. (KIDDING).
Taylor died of heart complications on Wednesday at the age of 79, but her playful sense of humour and undeniable charisma will always have a place in the sun.
According to TMZ, The Westboro Baptist Church is planning to disrupt Elizabeth Taylor’s funeral due to her HIV/AIDS activism and “enabling” of gays.
“Margie Phelps , daughter of WBC Pastor Fred Phelps , took to Twitter Wednesday to announce the church is going to picket non-lesbian Liz’s funeral … all because Liz was apparently some sort of gay “enabler” and (God forbid) an AIDS activist,” reports TMZ. Last time I checked, none of what she did is a crime…in fact, it’s the complete opposite! Way to disrespect one of the most notable actresses in the industry.
On a nicer note, Turner Classic Movies have announced they will air a 24-hour Liz Taylor marathon to commemorate the Hollywood icon, who passed away earlier today at age 79, reports Gossip Cop. Now that’s more like it!
The memorial tribute is set to air on Sunday, April 10, beginning at 6 a.m. EST. The line-up includes Taylor’s Oscar-winning films Butterflies 8 and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf.
The schedule is:
6 a.m. - Lassie Come Home (1943)
7:30 a.m. – National Velvet (1944)
11:30 a.m. – Father of the Bride (1950)
1:15 p.m. – Father’s Little Dividend (1951)
2:45 p.m. – Raintree County (1957)
6 p.m. – Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958)
8 p.m. – Butterfield 8 (1960)
10 p.m. – Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966)
12:30 a.m. – Giant (1956)
4 a.m. – Ivanhoe (1952)
Now that’s a Sunday well spent! You will be greatly missed, Liz.
According to ABC News, silver-screen legend Dame Elizabeth Taylor died early Wednesday Morning.
Taylor reportedly died of congestive heart failure. She’s been hospitalized for a while at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre.
Taylor’s son, Michael Wilding, released this statement: “We will always be inspired by her enduring contribution to our world.”
Taylor appeared in her first film at the age of nine. She has been considered time and time again as one of the greatest actresses of all time. She has starred in classics including “Cleopatra” and “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof”. She has won two Academy Awards for best actress for her roles in “Butterfield 8″ and “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”.
According to TMZ,” Taylor has a plot next to her parents at the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in L.A. Among those who are buried or interred there — Marilyn Monroe, Natalie Wood, Truman Capote, Farah Fawcett, Dean Martin and Walter Matthau”.
In tragic news, Perez Hilton is reporting that silver screen legend Liz Taylor was rushed to Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles for congenital heart failure earlier today. She is on a respirator fighting for her life and in critical condition.
Taylor’s press agent Sally Morrison had the following to say:
“Elizabeth was hospitalized earlier this week when she was taken to Cedars Sinai suffering from symptoms caused by congestive heart failure, an ongoing condition. This issue is being addressed. She is currently being kept in the hospital for monitoring. Her family and close friends are appreciative of the warm support and interest of her loyal fans but have asked that people respect her privacy and allow her medical team the time and space to focus on restoring her back to health.”
Elizabeth Taylor was truly one of the Hollywood greats, carried one of the most impressive resumes, and from what I gather one of the most liked, and admired stars of her generation. We wish you well Liz, and hope you still have a few more hearts to break.
Elizabeth Taylor accidentally overdosed on prescription pills and alcohol earlier this month, the National Enquirer claims.
The rag reports that 76 year-old Taylor “began vomiting and couldn’t breathe” at 4 a.m. on April 6.
Taylor woke her assistant for help. “Liz was panicking. She really thought she was going to die!” a source told the Enquirer.
Taylor reportedly was rushed to the hospital, but released later that afternoon.
Serial vow-exchanger Elizabeth Taylor says she isn’t planning to marry her latest romantic interest, rumoured to be artist and photographer Firooz Zahedi.
Media reports have pegged the 74-year-old actress for a ninth marriage to Zahedi, Taylor’s personal photographer since the mid-1970s.
But Taylor said on Thursday that Zahedi is simply “an old and dear friend,” and added in a statement: “We are not, have never been and will never be romantically involved. My private life and my plans, at this time remain private.”
Taylor has walked down the aisle eight times. Her last marriage to Larry Fortensky ended in 1996 after four years of marriage.
