Ed Bassmaster is a pranking professional but I don’t think I’ve ever laughed THIS hard at his tomfoolery. The prankster donned a long mushroom cut wig and went up to various strangers in NYC. Once he had their attention, he did a quick swoosh with his hair (he had to get it out of his eyes so you could revel in his full expression) then he shook his head and did the old “PSH.”
Most of the strangers laughed or looked slightly offended and ignored him. Beware though, if you “PSH” the wrong person there could be trouble!! Previously, he has pranked people by taking photos with celebrity doppelgängers and ordering brains at drive-throughs.

Ed Bassmaster‘s latest prank involved approaching random people on the street and pretending he knew them. While a couple people assured him he’s mistaken, there were a few who felt so bad about “not remembering” him they just ended up pretending.
In the past, Ed pranked people by going through drive-thrus as a zombie and introducing people to his pet hand rat.
How to make strangers believe they know you
1. Be super casual and throw around phrases like “Hey bud, how’ve you been?” and “Long time no see.”
2. Choose generic names like Steve or Peter who the person is sure to be acquainted with: “Don’t you remember me from Peter’s party?
3. Shame them into pretending they remember by making some joke about how it would be horrible if they didn’t have a clue.
4. Ask questions that are sure to pertain to everyone’s life like “how’s the new job going?”
5. Before you part, tell him to keep in touch so he’ll be forever waiting for your call.

If you’re growing tired of the old toilet roll and egging pranks (which BTW you should NEVER do, because come on, they’re pretty lame and unoriginal) follow prankster Ed Bassmaster’s lead with the zombie drive-thru prank.
Bassmaster donned white paint and blood one evening and hit up all the local drive-thrus to order brains and make random grunting noises. He pretty much scared everyone, especially one chick at the end who will be endlessly taunted by her fellow drive-thru employees.
This is the same dude who strutted through NYC with a fake hand rat. This one turned out even better, except for the one girl who seemed to think he was legitimately ordering brains.
Happy Halloween everyone!

I’ve encountered my fair share of mice/rat pranks because my grandmother on my dad’s side is absolutely TERRIFIED of them. In fact, we never intentionally prank her but if the mention of a rat even comes up her reaction is like:
True story. Anyway, this dude from New York named Ed Bassmaster went on the Lower East Side and terrified the living sh*t out of people buy pretending his hand rat was going to attack them. While some people’s reactions are pretty tepid (you can’t scare people from New York with a simple fluffy puppet), he terrifies a few of them.
