DJ Dylan Gets A Second Series

BOB DYLAN’s stint as a radio DJ has earned the rocker another season as the host of a themed XM Satellite Radio series.

The first season of Dylan’s Theme Time Radio Hour concluded yesterday with a show dedicated to spring cleaning but a second series will begin in September.

For each show, the Lay Lady Lay hitmaker chooses songs related to a theme. Recent shows have paid tribute to baseball and the weather.

Bob Dylan to Host XM Radio Show

On satellite radio, promoters say you can hear anything, at any time.

Bob Dylan, not known to be the most coherently-speaking person in the world, will host his own show on XM Satellite Radio, which has been available in the U.S. for several months, and which was just launched in Canada.

The pay-to-listen radio service already has Snoop Dogg as one of its DJs, and is up against Sirius, which has Howard Stern on its roster starting in January.

Dylan, one of rock’s most gifted songwriters, will create a playlist and interview guests, the station says.

His show will debut in March.
