It was only a matter of time before Tangerine Kitty’s “Dumb Ways to Die” got a zombie parody. TeddieFilms put together this hilarious parody of AMC’s The Walking Dead starring your favourite characters. Rick, Michonne and Carl all share the dumbest ways to die in a zombie-infected apocalyptic world.
Some of the ways include cutting off a leg to avoid infection and getting into fights with rival groups. The message was brought to you by those poor, brain dead “Walkers” you see roaming the grounds in the TV show.
This isn’t the first parody of the Australian PSA. So far, “Dumb Way to Die” also has an adorable Mars Rover, real life and video game edition.

I’m bracing myself for all the parodies that are starting to come from the Metro safety song “Dumb Ways to Die,” but hopeful that it won’t get to “Call Me Maybe” or “Gangnam Style” levels. The PSA by Tangerine Kitty recently got an adorable Mars Rover edition and a real life edition. Now someone made a video game version.
The song relates some of the worst ways to die in video games, whether it’s triggering an alien attack or your teammate being an ass. The parody, by Megasteakman, replaces the animation in the original video with dancing video game characters.

While I love Tangerine Kitty’s song about Metro safety called “Dumb Ways To Die,” it’s slightly depressing to be reminded that by going outside you’re basically walking into a death trap of a world. Comparatively, this parody by LaughPong is slightly more optimistic. Titled “Cool Things To Find,” it goes through all the interesting discoveries NASA could come across with the Mars Rover.
Curious discoveries include Amelia Earhart’s fate, a friend that hugs your face and martian methane.

Melbourne Metro Trains experienced an unexpected hit with Tangerine Kitty’s PSA “Dumb Ways To Die,” and now the song has a real life edition. The compilation combines a YouTube fail video for every dumb way to die — setting fire to your hair, eating expired medicine and teaching yourself to fly.
It’s unbelievable how many videos there are online for such specific fails as using your clothes dryer as a hiding place or your genitals as piranha bait.
The campaign was created to discourage Australian passengers from doing erratic things around trains, such as ignoring signals. It has received 19 million hits since Nov. 14. What’s the dumbest risk you’ve taken?

The song “Dumb Ways To Die” is performed by a local duo called Tangerine Kitty. Since being posted about a week ago the video has already received over 11 million hits.
Some of the dumb ways to die include getting eaten by piranhas, teaching yourself to fly and going near a psycho killer.
