Talk about brotherly love. Liam Gallagher is suing his brother Noel for calling him a “drunk.”

TMZ reports Noel claims Oasis bailed on a 2009 music festival because Liam was too “hung over to perform.”

Liam just told U.K. tabloid The Sun: “I have taken legal action against Noel Gallagher for statements he made claiming Oasis pulled out of the 2009 V festival Chelmsford gig because I had a hangover.”

Liam claims the real reason was he had a case of laryngitis.

He adds, “I tried to resolve this amicably but have been left with no choice but legal action. All I want is an apology.”

Yet another example of why you shouldn’t mix business with family.

More details have been revealed following the news of Ryan Dunn’s death on June 20 following a car accident early in the morning.

The Jackass star, who had a high blood alcohol level of .196 when he crashed his Porsche in rural Pennsylvania, was driving at least 130 miles an hour.

According to a toxicology report released by West Gosh Township Police Wednesday, Dunn, 34, was driving drunk when he and passenger Zachary Hartwell passed away in the crash. Dunn’s blood-alcohol level, which was one-fifth of his total blood supply, was twice the legal limit for Pennsylvania drivers.

Dunn’s Jackass pal and co-star Bam Margera, visited the crash site on Tuesday and broke into tears when he spoke to a news a crew.

“I’ve never lost anybody that I care about,” Margera, 31, said. “And it’s my best friend.”

“He was the happiest person ever,” Margera continued. “He was the smartest guy. He had so much talent. He had so many things going for him. It’s just not right.”

Ryan Dunn was always one of my favourites from the Jackass series. It’s unfortunate he had to die this way. May he rest in peace and may all of us take this as a lesson to not drink and drive in the future.

A.J. McLean’s substance abuse issues have been so out of control that crew members of the Backstreet Boys tour threatened to quit over his behavior.

TMZ reports that staff on the tour made it clear that if A.J. didn’t seek treatment that they would quit. Apparently his actions have become so out of control that on a recent Backstreet Boys fan cruise, several passengers lodged complaints and some even demanded refunds.

According to the TMZ story, A.J. and his entourage acted like “drunken fools” for the five day trip.

But that’s not the only problem. A.J.’s behavior on a day to day basis has become increasingly difficult. During rehearsals even more people have threatened to quit because of A.J.

Nevertheless McLean is back in rehab and hopefully the BSB train can continue.

Where are his handlers in all of this?!

Charlie Sheen has totally fallen off his rocker, according to Radar Online. Ever since the star was released from a New York hospital after being treated for his excessive cocaine use, his life has been a constant parade of hookers, coke and alcohol.

Sheen was held in the hospital for a psych evaluation after tweaking out in his room at the Plaza hotel, dropping several N-bombs while his hooker du jour, porn star Capri Anderson, cowered in the bathroom. He later flew home to LA, but it seems apparent that his habit has followed him there.

“It’s been a non-stop party of drugs and hookers since Charlie [arrived home in Los Angeles],” one source says. “He is completely out of control. No one can get through to him.”

In all fairness, who wouldn’t stumble into a death spiral after wasting away on season after season of Two and a Half Men?

Somebody get this man into rehab stat!

After Charlie Sheen’s Monday evening of debaucheries that included trashing a Plaza hotel room and getting plastered and his subsequent  hospitalization for intoxication, reports surfaced that a mystery girl was locked in his bathroom reports TMZ.com.

Who is this mystery girl? Well, the natural assumption is that it was a prostitute or call girl. I thought Heidi Fleiss was out of business? I guess Charlie kind of did something right this time…it was not a call girl (or so she says) it was a 22-year-old porn star by the name of Capri Anderson. Her legal name is Christina Walsh. Good thing she changed it. Anderson, who claims she had met Charlie for the first time Monday night, was apparently afraid of the big bad Charlie so she called hotel security on him while locking herself in the bathroom.

It was also reported that no drugs were found in the hotel room. Maybe Charlie has given up cocaine and hookers once and for all. Will he give up drinking next? Perhaps he will join Lindsay Lohan at the Betty Ford Clinic sometime soon. Tom Arnold will be out soon and she’ll need a new friend.

It was only a matter of time, really…

Radar Online reports that Jersey Shore cast member Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi spent a night in a Miami hospital while shooting season 2 of the show. It seems that the star overindulged at popular hot spot ‘Dream,’ getting so intoxicated that the show’s producer’s had to carry her out of the club!

The most intriguing part? The medical incident didn’t make the cut into the show! MTV producers made the executive decision to leave Snooki’s drunken drama out of last week’s episode, opting instead to show Polizzi interrupting costar Jenni “J-WOWW” Farley and boyfriend Tom’s attempt at “smushing.”

Even Jersey Shore has its limits!

Snooki talked extensively about her troubles with drinking at a recent MTV press conference. In regards to receiving a drunk and disorderly charge on a Miami beach taping the same season of the show, she said “Obviously I like to party. I like to have a good time but maybe I’m overdoing it a little too much. So right now I’m just watching myself and I can have a good time not drinking.”

No drinking for Snooki? We definitely can’t picture the Shore cast forsaking a night of drunken partying for a stay-in sober Scrabble night! But it’s probably for the best…unless she’s snookin’ for a stomach pumping, Polizzi’s better off laying off the sauce for a little bit – even if it doesn’t make the best television.

The results of Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil’s sobriety tests from his DUI back in June have finally been released, and boy, it’s a doozy.

Perez Hilton has reported that Neil blew over three times the legal limit this spring, failing several field sobriety tests with multiple attempts. The 80s star put in a good effort but eventually told police “I can’t do this.”

Well, at least he’s an honest guy!

Aside from failing the traditional breathalyzer test, the report also comments that the rocker “reeked” of alcohol, and that Neil confessed to consuming 3 glasses of champagne.

Neil’s DUI doesn’t come as a surprise to us, especially with his criminal past. We caught a glimpse of the star’s Wild Side when he was caught Smoking in the Boy’s Room back in 1985.

Heh. But seriously: 3 TIMES the legal limit, Mr. Neil? That must have been some really strong champagne.

Vince Neil will be arraigned on September 27th. Hopefully he’ll have sobered up by then.

“Melrose Place” star Amy Locane-Bovenizer has been charged with vehicular homicide in New Jersey, reports PopEater.

On Sunday night, Locane-Bovenizer was involved in a hit and run at 9pm near Princeton, New Jersey. While trying to flee the scene, the actress slammed into the passenger side of another car, killing Helene Seeman. Her husband, Fred Seeman, who was driving the car was airlifted to hospital.

Miles away Locane rear ended another car, and when the driver tried calling for help. the actress sped away. The hit driver chased her, and noted she was “swerving and knocking down several mailboxes.”

When Police finally caught up with her, they noted a strong scent of alcohol on her breath. Amy has been charged with second-degree vehicular homicide and third-degree assault by automobile. At her arraignment on Monday afternoon, Superior Court Judge Robert Reed set her bail at $50,000.

Jack Bauer, or Kiefer Sutherland (whatever you prefer), is a man who likes to party and have a good time. And with “24″ over, Bauer is going to have a lot more free time on his hands to have a good time.

PerezHilton reports that Sutherland was at a New York City bar getting so drunk, he started taking off his shirt.

A source says “Kiefer got so drunk, he took off his shirt and tried to take the pictures off the wall at the bar. He eventually calmed down and was not asked to leave the hotel.”

Granted it may have not been the most respectful thing to do, but with all that “24″ money, let the man have a good time!

It seems that Lady Gaga’s p-p-p-poker face didn’t keep her from getting the boot.

The pop singer was reportedly thrown out of the New York Yankees’ clubhouse after a recent game, reports NME.com. Apparently Gaga was drunk and started hitting on some of the players despite the fact that their wives and families were standing nearby.

Photographs of the superstar show her wearing an unbuttoned Yankees shirt revealing a black bra. Scandalous, Gaga! What would all your little monsters say?

Chris Klein who played “Oz” in the “American Pie” movies was pulled over this morning for suspicion of DUI on a LA freeway.

TMZ reports that when officers administered a breathalyzer test on the actor, his blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit. He blew a .20 and the legal limit in California is a .08.

In the car, officers found a dog which was retrieved by Klein’s friend. Klein was arrested back in 2004 for DUI. If convicted he will have to serve a minimum 4 days in jail.

Don’t you just hate it when you get really drunk and damage your breast implants? That’s what happened to British pop star Amy Winehouse on Sunday.

Winehouse stumbled into the Hartley Street clinic in London reeking of alcohol and holding her breasts, according to PerezHilton. Winehouse was complaining about her bruised boobs and after taking a fall from drunk partying.

Amy returned to this clinic as this is where she had her implants installed. A nurse gave her a checkup and suggested she spend the night after they noticed bruising on her ribs.

According to witnesses, Wino was such a waste case that she proceeded to roam the hallways topless, leaving the stank of scotch wafting behind her. It took the staff quite awhile to get her contained in her room.

Winehouse’s reps say she is still in the hospital but her injuries are not too serious.

When will people learn that they need to be careful what they post on Twitter. Last night after partying with Akon and Chris Brown in a Miami club, Bow Wow posted the following to Twitter – “Face numb im whippin the lambo. Tispy as f*k. Just left @livmiami.” This was then followed by “Im f**ked up!!! Ohhhh damn. Y i drive the lambo. Chris might have to drive after next spot.”

Later in the night these posts were removed from Twitter. According to TMZ this is insufficient evidence to make an arrest.

John Stamos finally went on record attributing his hilarious 2007 train wreck appearance on an Australian talk show to alcohol, US weekly reports.

“I was on sleeping pills and I was jet-lagged, but I was also just plastered. And I never said I wasn’t, but that whole Warner Bros. publicity machine got involved and said, ‘Just say he was jet-lagged,’” said Stamos.

Stamos slurred his words, made innappopriate jokes and even made a lewd gesture to the host with a glass head. He finished off the interview reading the host’s lines off the teleprompter while squeezing her beside him.

But Stamos wasn’t phased by the incident, and didn’t see why his publicists had to skew the story. “I said, ‘No, tell ‘em the truth! I was f****** drunk in Australia. Big deal.’”

David Hasselhoff is at the centre of yet another  911 scandal, according to TMZ.

And it’s the same story as last time: he wasn’t drunk, he was sick. Hasselhoff’s people released a statement saying yesterday’s incident was because of an ear infection which he was treating with Antivert.

This medication clashed poorly with Antabuse, another tactlessly-named medication the Hoff is taking to keep him from drinking. The cocktail resulted in a loss of equilibrium, so when the paramedics arrived, Hasselhoff opted to go to the hospital for help.

His teenage daughter Hayley Hasselhoff alerted her mother Pamela Bach last night saying her dad was drunk. One of Bach’s friends dialed 911, who answered the call shortly after to escort Hasselhoff to hospital.

Bach has spent the last year or so dropping hints to any news service that will take it that Hasselhoff is a hopeless drunk.

In May, TMZ posted a series of updates of a reportedly sloppy weekend in the Hasselhoff house. Bach allegedly told reporters Hasselhoff’s blood alcohol was a whopping .39 at the time of his altercation with his 17-year-old daughter.

But when Hasselhoff weighed in on the story a few days later, and official reports were released, the story looked much different. Hasselhoff had complained of an illness, and while he admitted he had been drinking, it was not the extent of blacking out. He walked to the police car that escorted him to the hospital and was released the following day.

Bach is far from a shining example of sobreity herself, as she was picked up for a DUI in April that involved a rear end collission. Early this summer, she was seen being escorted from Halo nightclub in Hollywood looking more than tipsy.

The ex-couple are dysfunctional as it is, but what’s worrisome is the kind of antics they are breeding in their impressionable daughter.

In a weird twist of celebrity co-mingling, reality TV star Tila Tequila’s NFL boyfriend Shawn Merriman was arrested yesterday, according to TMZ.

Police were called to the home of San Diego Charger’s Merriman early this morning where Tila claimed he had choked her and restrained her from leaving the apartment. Tila was taken to hospital but no injuries reported.

Merriman was taken into custody with a bail set at $58,000.

His lawyer released a statement this morning saying Tila was extremely inebriated following a birthday party at Stingareer Nightclub in San Diego and Merriman did not want her to leave the house because he felt it was unsafe.

In a statement to FoxNewsSports.com, Merriman denied the allegations.

“There have been no charges filed against me. I want to thank the San Diego Sherrif’s Department for their professionalism,” read the statement. ”I will continue to cooperate fully with the Department, and I look forward to clearing my name regarding these false allegations. I want to put this behind me so I can continue to focus on a successful season for the San Diego Chargers.”

Tila has taken to Twitter to plead her case, saying she was not drunk because she is actually allergic to alcohol. Go figure.

“I am allergic to alcohol,” Tila said via Twitter. “It has been publicly known for years. That is how I got the name Tila “Tequila” cuz the irony. I cant drink.”

Tila has since returned to Los Angeles and no word on Merriman’s legal follow-up has been released.

Chad Kroeger, lead singer of Nickleback, was found guilty of drunk driving in British Columbia yesterday, cbc.ca reports.

The charges stem from an event in June 2006, where Kroeger was found driving with a blood alcohol level nearly twice the legal limit.

His lawyer tried to get the breathalyzer test Kroeger took ruled as inadmissible because it violated Kroeger’s rights, but the judge overruled.

“The judge found that his Charter of Rights were breached. However, he declined to exclude the breathalyzer results,” his lawyer said.

Sentencing will occur on May 1, Kroeger could face a fine or a driving ban. His lawyer says he plans to appeal the conviction.

Orlando Bloom tried to walk away from a car crash last week, leaving his bleeding female friend, until paparazzi warned him the incident would be deemed a hit and run if he left.

Police claimed that Bloom did not appear drunk on the night of October 11, so he did not have to take a Breathalyzer test. However, paparazzi video from earlier in the evening show him acting strangely while leaving a club. He jumped into the car of a stranger and began yelling at the driver. A female then got in the back of the car and tried to separate them. Allegedly, the driver is the woman’s boyfriend, and Bloom had grabbed her inappropriately in the club.

Bloom then got into his own car with his two female friends. One woman started off as the driver, and according to reports, was so drunk that she repeatedly tried to start the car even though it was already running. Bloom later took over, and then ran into a parked car.

The injured woman was Cher Coulter, a celebrity stylist. She walked around the car holding her head before laying down on the pavement. At hospital it was revealed that the impact had fractured her neck vertebrae.

Bloom’s rep released a statement claiming Bloom called emergency services immediately after the crash.
