Looks like Rupert Grint isn’t the only Harry Potter star acting in music videos.
Featured in indie band Slow Club’s music video for their single “Beginners”, Radcliffe plays the type of drunk you wouldn’t want to mess with in the pub.
Shot in slow motion, the video features the former Harry Potter star wearing a super stylin’ floral shirt and lip-synching with a pained expression while taking in shots of alcohol.
According to Metro UK, Charles Watson of Slow Club said, “After meeting him (Radcliffe) for the first time we were pretty blown away by how much he knew about our songs and when the time came to make a video, the director Lucy Needs had the script ready and thought it couldn’t hurt to ask.”
Radcliffe, who previously revealed that he had a drinking problem, has since dealt with his issue.
“The drinking was unhealthy and damaging to my body and my social life. That’s beyond question,” he recalled in an earlier interview. “I was living in constant fear of who I’d meet, what I might have said to them, what I might have done with them, so I’d stay in my apartment for days and drink alone.”
Glad to know Daniel has since resolved his problems.
And to see him giving such an amazing performance like this in a music video, it’s exciting to see what he has in store next.
