Posted on andPOP:

With recent news of Taylor Momsen and Jessiza Szohr getting axed from ‘Gossip Girl,’ I thought I would do a ‘Top 5: Annoying TV Characters’ post.

These characters are in every show. That one character that likes to messes things up. That one who makes you scream at the television set. Or the just plain stupid. There are too many to name. But I’ve rounded up my top 5 picks of annoying television characters – hope you agree. I think you will.

1. Jenny Humphrey, played by Taylor Momsen.

First up on the list is ‘Gossip Girl’ Jenny Humphrey, played by Taylor Momsen. I’m pretty sure everyone can agree that her character is the most annoying character to ever appear on a television show, ever. From her sulking, goth appearance, to her brief stint as a preppy Constance mean girl, Jenny was always a follower, and never an individual. She cried, she complained, and she wore fishnet stockings. Good riddance.

2. Marissa Cooper, played by Mischa Barton.

Next up is Marissa Cooper from ‘The O.C.,’ played by faded starlet Mischa Barton. Like Jenny, Marissa was always causing trouble. Whether in abusive relationships, dealing with substance abuse, or just all-around a clingy kind of gal, Marissa made you want to shake her and say ‘wake up!’ Sure, she was pretty and rich, but that didn’t make up for her deeply damaged soul. She eventually got killed off, and the show tanked.

3. George O’Malley, played by T.R. Knight.

Third on the list is ‘Grey’s Anatomy’s’ George O’Malley, played by T.R. Knight. George spent more time crying about his personal issues than curing medical cases. He was worse than the female doctors. Yes, the show is a hit because of its mix of medical drama and soap-like personal issues, but George took this to a whole other level. He eventually got killed off, too (notice a trend?) but the show went on without him. And with good reason.

4. Swiper, From ‘Dora The Explorer.’

Don’t lie, we’ve all witnessed an episode of ‘Dora The Explorer’ at one point in our life. Whether babysitting or being too lazy to switch the channel, we’ve encountered Swiper, the fox that likes to steal things. No matter how loud you scream ‘Swiper, no swiping!’ the bastard seems to always get away with things. He messes everything up and delays Dora’s adventure, and for that, he’s number four on my list. Sly little fox, you.

5. Roseanne Barr, Played by Roseanne Barr.

It doesn’t matter who I ask – everyone hates Roseanne. Debatably the most annoying show and annoying family, Roseanne takes the cake with her super-loud-mouth character. Literally, all she does is complain. Her loud nasally voice doesn’t help either. She’s obnoxious, she’s lazy, and she’s immature. And the sitcom’s reruns are always on the damn television. Why are good shows being cancelled and replaced with reruns of this clownery? Sigh.

Posted on andPOP:

The upcoming ‘Glee’ death is going to be a sad one, guys.

Jenna Ushkowitz, who plays Tina Cohen-Chang on the show, found filming the mystery ‘Glee’ death “really hard,” reports CTV.

An unnamed character will pass away in the ‘Funeral’ episode of the current season and Ushkowitz admits the whole cast were upset when filming the scenes.

“You know it was really, really sad. Any kind of death is sad and it brings you back to a place you don’t really want to go. So it kind of affects everybody. It was really hard but the episode is done really, really well.”

The actress, 25, hopes fans will “appreciate” the storyline and thinks they will like watching the “sad” scenes.

“It was really sweet and I think people will appreciate it. It was done in the right way. I think they’ll be sad but I think they’ll feel for the characters who will be affected by it. Any death, and especially on ‘Glee’ since you don’t expect something like that so for that to happen, I think you’re like ‘Oh, wow.’ I think fans will be shocked a little bit, and not expect anything at all. I think fans will like it.”

Who will it be? Will it be the wheelchair-bound-Artie who finally meets his demise? Or will it be the ever-so-annoying Rachel (let’s pray it is.) Guess we can only find out on May 17, when the episode airs.

Posted on andPOP:

Hugh Laurie is set to quit ‘House,’ reports CTV.

The British actor, who plays Dr. Gregory House in the medical drama, thinks his run on the show will soon come to an end after shooting on the eighth season concludes this summer.

“The end of that season, right now looks like the end of the show. Well, that’s as far as they’ve got me for,” said Laurie.

Of all things, the 51-year-old star is now focusing on his debut solo blues album ‘Let Them Talk,’ which he is promoting with performances throughout Europe this month.

“The acting muscles don’t know what they’re doing, actually. Perhaps they should, but they don’t. There’s very little about this. I don’t know maybe there’s a repetitive action in music — if you do your scales and your fingers are nimble, then there are certain things you just know you can do without too much difficulty.”

“Acting for some reason isn’t like that. It doesn’t become automated in quite the same way.”

Hugh, who moved to Los Angeles for the show in 2003, recently admitted he was surprised at the success of ‘House’ but was growing disillusioned with it. ”I never thought this would last seven years, just two weeks I thought. I get tired of getting up at four in the morning. Some days are harder than others.”

I can’t imagine the show without him as the antagonistic Dr. House, so I’m pretty sure if he leaves the show will end. I never liked the show, I personally found him a very annoying character, but I’m sure many will be saddened by this news.

Posted on andPOP:

The Big O? More like the Big J. According to ratings, stone-faced Judge Judy draws in the most viewers on weekday afternoons – leaving Oprah Winfrey high and dry.

According to MSN Online, Judge Judy’s civil court debauchery has drawn in a bigger audience than the Oprah Show for the past 11 of 14 weeks. In the pool of courtroom dramas, Judge Judy has been the most popular for the past 700 consecutive episodes.

That’s a lot of velour track suits.

Judge Judy, known by friends as Judy Scheindlin, is the Oprah antithesis. There’s no free cars, gushy stories, or Gayle King. Instead, Scheindlin takes a no-bullshit approach to cases, often ripping apart guests with her sarcastic quips and sharp tongue.

“At my age, I’ve heard it all,” Judge Judy told MSN Online. “I think that’s the reason the program has legs and longevity. People like the fact that the right thing happens at the end of a case. There may be a small nucleus of people who are very verbal, who will PC you to death, but if I call someone an idiot, they’re an idiot. I don’t care if they’re a boy or a girl or black or white or green or chartreuse.”

Posted on andPOP:

Another season cometh and went for HBO’s Entourage, and what ironically made the season finale was one of the celebrity cameo appearances by Oscar winner Matt Damon- who played himself trying to “Jason-Bourne” Vince into donating money to his Children’s Charity.

It’s pretty clear that Damon’s performance was truly a gut-buster. I personally was on the couch cracking up seeing him repeatedly stick-arm Vince into joining the foundation, donating money, and then donating more money.

Though the real performance came in the post-episode credits where we see Damon really lose a gasket. Check it out.

On the day before he leaves to Italy, Vince tries to get the boys to come with him, but only manages to get Drama. Turtle still trying to get over Jamie, and tries to forget about her with the college dorm girl. And Eric says he’s going to try and get Sloan back -but the guys think it’ll be pretty hard.

Meanwhile, Ari and his wife meet with the therapist to discuss why his wife should lend him $12 million to help buy Terrance’s agency. But after Ari admits why he truly wants to buy it and pours his heart out, she agrees to spot him the money.

Despite Lloyd’s suggestion, Drama decides not to read for any acting gigs, saying he’s taking a break from it for a while. While shopping with Vince, the two run into Matt Damon who tries to pressure Vince into donating a cheque for his children’s charity.

Eric drives Sloan to a surprise location, refusing to reveal the day’s events. But after he takes her to a special restaurant that they went to while they were a couple -to tell her that they should get back together- Sloan refuses to listen to him, and tells him to take her home.

Turtle tries to forget about Jamie with the college chick, but realizes he can’t. He decides that he should go New Zealand to get her back.

At the agency merging meeting, Ari finds out that Terrance put a last-minute clause in the buying contract, stating that the agency name must remain in Terrance’s name.

Back at home, Vince and Drama get a call from Matt Damon who continues to pressure Vince into donating money. Turtle comes home and tells them that he’s been lying to himself about getting over Jamie, and that he’s going to see her. After seeing Turtle’s performance, Drama reconsiders his decision about leaving the industry, and realizes that he was born to be an actor.

Terrance drops by Ari’s office, and the two exchange their nagging thoughts that they’ve been carrying all these years. After Terrance apologizes, Ari finally accepts peace, and assures him that he’ll keep Terrance’s name in the merger.

Drama gets another shot at the Melrose audition, and nails it. Meanwhile, driving back home, Eric pulls over and confesses his love to Sloan, swearing that he’ll be committed and proposes to her.

Ari strolls through Terrance’s agency on a celebratory rant with a paintball gun, pegging everyone who he had grudges with- including Adam Davies. Though, he gives Lloyd a 24-hr window to come back to the Miller-Gold agency.

While about to takeoff on his flight, Turtle calls Jamie, but she tells him not to come to New Zealand, and that the long distance aspect will never work out. But the plane takes off, so he decides he’ll meet up with Vince in Italy.

And about to leave to Italy with Vince, Drama gets a call from the Melrose producer who admits that he and the network both loved his performance, but that he’s too old for the part. As a result, they want to give Drama a holding-deal to create his own show.

Lloyd comes back to the Miller-Gold agency in agent-fashion, giving Ari a ballsy rant. But when Ari apologizes and shows him his new agent office, Lloyd happily accepts.

About to take-off, Vince and Drama are ambushed by Matt Damon who brings along LeBron James to persuade Vince to donate $150,000 for Matt’s charity.

Eric and Sloan meet them at the airport to break them the big news that they’re engaged- Sloan showing them the diamond ring. As Vince and Drama leave on the private jet, Eric carries Sloan to the car in bliss.

Watching the new couple leave, Vince and Drama wonder which one of them will be next to get hitched.

Hookups:

None

Celeb Cameos:

Matt Damon, LeBron James, Bono, Jamie-Lynn Sigler

Overall:

Let me put it out there. Despite the opinions about the unorthodox story-line this season, if there’s one thing this show knows how to do, it’s to close the deal. Entourage knows how to close perfectly.

Not only that, but this one episode presented two of the top greatest moments in the show’s history.

A) Seeing Ari Gold go Terminator a la paintball gun through an agency.

and

B) Through an unpredicted turn of events, seeing Eric get hitched with Sloan- a feat that makes any guy, no matter how much of a man-whore he is, wish to god he found the “Sloan.”

And the celeb cameos were overflowing like a fresh bottle of Dom Pérignon. Matt Damon, a webcam Bono, LeBron James. I mean this episode was awesome, upon awesome.

Not to mention that Matt Damon gave one of the funniest celeb cameos this show has ever seen. I mean pressuring a celebrity Jason-Bourne style to donate to the charity. Hilarious.

So let’s recap.

—> Ari Gold: He buys Terrance’s agency, makes peace with his foe, and becomes the King Kong of Hollywood. And did a celebration fit for a king- paintball storming through the agency, pegging off any people he had grudges with. And putting the hardships aside with Lloyd, and surprising him with his induction as a real agent back at Miller-Gold was the icing on the cake. Who were we kidding, Ari needs Lloyd just as much as Lloyd needs Ari.

—> Vince: Funny seeing him be pressured by Matt Damon. But he’s off to FINALLY begin filming his next project, which means…the real Vinnie Chase in Season 7.

—> Eric: Oh boy, what can we say about our lovable Irish buddy. Well for starters, Mazel Tov. That spontaneous proposal couldn’t have made any dude more happier. The Sloan n’ E Saga continues.

—> Turtle: Bruuuutal. Dude, always stay with the smoking college chick. But he had to find out the hard way that long distance relationships rarely work out. We left off with him making his way to Rome. We’ll see what happens.

—> Drama: The guy finally put his antics aside and realized his passion for acting. And what did it do? It made the network want him more than ever. Way to go buddy.

ED note: It’s been a pleasure doing this blog for you guys, and I will see you come season seven.

Rating:

Best Line(s):

1) Drama to Vince, after Matt Damon pressures Drama to get Vince on the phone to donate money to his children’s charity-

“Sorry, he Jason-Bourned me.”

2) Ari’s epic rant in the therapist’s office to his wife as to why he truly wants to buy the new company-

“Ok yes. If I could gauge out Terrance McQuewick’s eyeballs for what he did to me, I would. And I would sell that Benedict Arnold Adam Davies in a white slavery if we lived in a place that had a market for it. And Lloyd, that little queen, who I welcomed into my home, play with my children and care for my dog, I would tie him up and allow for the entire Screen Actors Guild to anally rape him if not for the fact that I think he would enjoy it. I hate’em all. And yes I would like to see them destroyed. But THAT is not the reason why I want this company. I want, no I need this company because it’s good business, good god damn business. And if I don’t buy it someone else will, and that’ll be VERY, very bad for my business. And my wife of all people should know that when it comes to business my judgment is never clouded. So please, please support me like you always have, and I will deliver for us, like I always have.”

3) Ari storming through the new company, paint balling everyone who he had grudges with-

On the way to a night club, Turtle has to bail to spend time with Jamie on her last night in the city. Vince and Drama then find Eric making out with a girl- who Drama recognizes as a previous one-night-stand four months ago.

Later on, Drama warns Eric that the girl tends to “get around” and he should be careful. But Eric realizes that he didn’t wear protection.

At the Miller-Gold Agency, Ari is having a tough time without Lloyd- firing every assistant that HR sends over to him. In his office, he finds Terrance McQuewick who wants Ari to buy-out his company for $100 million. Afraid of a hidden agenda, Ari tries to interrogate Terrance’s wife, to see if there’s any other information- to which he finds that Terrance is heading for a divorce.

Meanwhile, on her last day in the city, Jamie-Lynn discovers that Turtle added the sorority girl on Facebook- sparking an argument over whether they can make a long distance relationship work. At the airport, she shocks Turtle by breaking it off, saying that she loves him too much to keep him from seeing other people.

At his audition, Drama finds out that the Director of the new Melrose Place show, is a guy who he had a past conflict with. This causes him to become extremely nervous and anxious to the point that he experiences a severe nervous meltdown in the middle of the audition. After being rushed to the hospital, he decides that he needs to take some time off to re-evaluate his life.

Eric makes a trip to the doctor’s office to get tested for any STDs- but fortunately finds clean results. When he gets back home, he tells the guys that he’s done with sleeping around and wants to get back in a relationship with Sloan- no matter what.

After finding out that Terrance wants to sell his company quietly to avoid a battle during his divorce, Ari offers him $75 million- which he accepts.

Hook ups:

Vince and a Clinic assistant.

Celeb Cameos:

Jamie-Lynn Sigler, David Faustino, Melinda Clarke, Dean Cain

Overall:

Is it just me, or did this feel like a good old-school episode of Entourage? I’ll admit the past few were mediocre at best, but the vibe in this one had some spunk to it. E freaks out over a possible STD, Drama has an insane breakdown, Ari makes another conquer. Boom.

Ari Gold—> On that note, it’s amazing how you would think that Ari couldn’t climb any higher. But he did. If he was already owned the most powerful agency in Hollywood, then adding Terrance’s (and his old) agency would make him, what…the best in all of North America? I’m not sure, but either way, that is a ballin’ move on Mr. Gold. But the question is will he be able to handle the pressure and meet those expectations. Well, check him out in the therapist’s office in next week’s season finale.

Turtle—> Kinda sad to see Turtle and Jamie-Lynn break it off. So far he’s still trying to call her. Will he end up just going for the co-ed chick at school, or continue to convince Jamie to pursue a long distance relationship?

Drama—> We’ve seen his meltdowns. But to be rushed to the hospital? Wow. Either the guy’s really old, or the guy’s…just really old. I’d like to see how he re-evaluates his life. Let’s just say he might be thinking of another career (check it out next week).

Vince—> Banging a chick on a giant inflatable mattress in a pool…good god. That was awesome. And now he has one week left until he peaces to Italy to begin shooting the new film. I’m feeling a crazy party segment next week.

Rating:

Best Line:

1) Drama to Eric, after Eric finds out that Drama hooked up with the same chick as him-

“E, I’ve had most of this town, so it was bound to happen that our trees would dabble in the same forest at some point.”

Best Moment(s):

1) Ari stuffing a muffin in his new assistant’s face.

2) Ari’s little illustration on the offer sheet to Terrance. Hilarious.

Having relationship woes with jealous girlfriends, Eric and Turtle discuss with Vince how to solve it.

The boys meet up with a stressed out Drama who is afraid he’ll get cut from Five Towns. Although when he runs into a Melrose producer who offers him a part in the new show, Drama strongly considers dropping out of his current show.

He discusses the possibility with the boys about somehow getting out of his contract, and the boys advise him to call his agent.

Lloyd, feeling nervous after leaving Ari, tries to convince Drama to stay with him as his client at the new agency. Drama says if he gets out of the contract, then he’ll consider signing with Lloyd.

Meanwhile, Turtle gives Eric a lift to Ashley’s house, to settle some relationship trust issues. She’s suspicious about the identity of “Rupert Pupkin” (the name she saw on his cell phone), which happened to be Vince’s alias name. Ashley suggests that she have access to all his e-mails- this has Eric a bit sketched out.

When Ari finds out the news that Lloyd left the agency, he flips out, promising that he will destroy his life.

As this results in a tug-o-war over Drama, Ari ends up bribing Dan Coakly out of Drama’s contract.

On the way to school, Jamie senses that Turtle is acting odd and confronts him about it- realizing that it might be the sorority whores.

Making a final stand, Lloyd preaches to Drama his un-dying loyalty to him and the promise that he will be his no. one client. After Drama confronts Ari and questions his actual interest in his talent, Drama decides to sign with Lloyd.

Elsewhere, Eric meets Ashley for dinner to break-up with her over her paranoia. He and the boys then meet up to party with his assistant and her friends. And Turtle then gets a call from Jamie who informs him she got a part in a series that films in New Zealand.

Celeb Cameos:

Jamie-Lynn Sigler

Overall:

Eric dumps Ashley. Ari plays tug-o-war with Lloyd. Not too bad of an episode. But nothing great.

It’s clear that this episode was done to have some closure on the theme of relationships. The problem with Ashley has been dragging on for way too long, it’s about time that Eric finally dropped her. But with Jamie going to New Zealand, leaving Turtle with those “sorority whores” will he manage to stay loyal? Who knows. He’s already thinking about it, apparently.

But I think that this season is closing pretty well. Assuming that Drama will get the Melrose part, next season will boast Vince’s new movie, Drama’s new show, Lloyd being an agent, Turtle in business school, and Eric being a full-time manager (with some possible big clients).

And hey, Eric might even consider Sloan, who knows.

That sounds like a pretty interesting beginning for season seven. So in a way, this character development season story arc was more crucial to the show’s existence than ever.

It was an investment. An investment for the writers to say:

“Hey let’s take a season off of the Vinnie Chase block-buster films, let’s deepen the other characters, expand their development, and then switch back to a Vince story line the following season- with the rest of the crew already having fresh arcs.”

So we’ll see what happens with two episodes left. All I can say is next week will be interesting. The issues will be plentiful.

And with the finale supposed to be featuring Lebron James and Lil’ Wayne, there’s still tons of wicked stuff ahead.

—> andPOP’s insider secret: Ari having another massive therapist meltdown.

Rating:

3.5/5

Best Line:

1) Lloyd trying to convince Drama to sign with him-

“I’ve seen everything from Viking Quest to the New New Love Boat…you were a tremendous young Merrill Stubing.”

2) Ari talking to Lloyd on the phone from Dan Coakley’s office-

“Why would he (return your phone call) when you’re a dead man? I’m everywhere Lloyd!”

Best Moment(s):

1) Ari going ballistic at Lloyd, after finding out he left the agency to work with Adam Davies.

2) Eric breaking up with Ashley.

Next Week:

Scared Straight- Suspicions arise when Terence wants to sell Ari his share of Ari’s old agency. Drama goes on an audition for the new “Melrose Place.” Eric goes to the doctor after receiving some disturbing news.

Eric cuts a business call to take a phone call from Sloan- who wants to make sure that he’s not mad at her for the fight between him and Ashley.

He then leaves to meet Vince at the mansion for the meeting with the “security guy.” Ari calls him on the way, and reassures Eric that this guy is the best there is.

Meanwhile at the Miller-Gold agency, Ari finds Andrew in his office, passed out in pajamas. Angry and confused, Ari finds out that Marlo kicked him out of the house, and froze his credit cards.

But Andrew promises Ari that he is signing Aaron Sorkin today. Barbra Miller wants him fired if he doesn’t follow-through.

At the mansion, Vince and the boys meet the “security guy”- who suggests extreme measures to turn the house into Fort Knox. This leaves the boys wondering if all this is necessary.

Vince advises Eric to call back Sloan to apologize for being rude on the phone. She invites him for a “friendly drink”- to discuss his new job, and reassures him that she’s with someone. So he agrees.

At the agency, Andrew Klein is M.I.A 13 minutes before his big meeting with Sorkin. Ari finally locates him at his house trying to get his notes for the meeting, but Marlo won’t let him in. When she then burns his notes, he crazily drives his car through the front window, into the house. This lands him in jail.

Eric discusses the Sloan issue with the boys, sort of confused about the mixed signals he’s getting from her. They suggest he find out what she wants.

Things aren’t going well at the Sorkin meeting, but when Sorkin hears that Andrew is in jail, he decides to go there to continue the meeting to listen to his ideas.

Eric gets a call from Ashley right before his drinks with Sloan. She tells him she misses him, and asks him to come back. Eric ditches the meet-up with Sloan- telling her he rather be with a girl he sort of likes, than with a girl who keeps on sending him mixed signals.

In jail, Ari tells Andrew to make the pitch, but when he breaks down, Sorkin sympathizes with his divorce, and agrees to sign with him- leaving Andrew and Ari in total shock.

Eric makes up with Ashley, and the security team find a driver’s license in Vince’s couch. They may have found the stalker.

Hookups:

None

Celeb Cameos:

Aaron Sorkin

Overall:

It had the Hollywood trifecta: well written, well directed and well acted.

- Andrew Klein is the unpredictable man.

First off, I haven’t seen anything so crazy on the show like his little car maneuver, since Drama went to jail in season two for taking a golf club and beating up another dude’s car out of road rage, or Ari bitch-slapping Adam Davies in season five.

Nor has anybody ever seen, or could predict, Klein signing Aaron Sorkin…in jail.

But they all happened. And that’s why this episode probably left everyone on a high of adrenaline.

- Also funny how Ari’s “security guy” ended up being an Israeli security team. It shows that the writers knew what they were doing. The I.D.F (Israeli Defense Force) is top notch.

And their drills on Turtle and Drama were hilarious.

But this stalker? Too bad it wasn’t the hot-type that Vince hoped, but instead, some creepy looking dude. Fuck I’d be sketched out too.

- Let’s talk about Sloan for a second. She’s hot. No, she’s uber hot. Usually, you would tell E to stop whining and take any chance he can get with her. But I must say, there comes a point where he just has to confront her, and say enough bullshit, make up your mind. And he did, and I’m proud of E-Murph.

Like Drama said “Sloan is all powerful. She stops him from getting pussy, and then doesn’t give him any.”

It’s also a nice change seeing Sloan making a move and then getting shutdown, rather than E (like at the Gatsby premiere).

Rating:

4.5/5

Best Line(s):

1) Marlo Klein to her husband Andrew-

“Get back together? I’d fuck Hammas before I’d fuck you again!”

2) Turtle telling the guys what rating the security guy would give him, if he saw him smoking his bong-

“An A, for calmness under pressure.”

Best Moment(s):

1) Oh let’s see. Probably Andrew Klein ramming his car through his house front window.

2) Then going to prison, but still signing Aaron Sorkin there.

3) Seeing Drama and Turtle be the test dummies for the security team. Funny stuff.

Next Week:

Security Briefs- The boys worry about security at the house. Adam Davies’ revenge for Ari stealing Zac Efron as a client involves Lloyd. Drama turns into a private eye to find Vince’s new stalker. Ashley demands a more honest relationship with Eric.

Turtle watches on in pain as Drama and Jamie-Lynn kiss on-screen for the Five Towns episode. Eric joins the gang and tells them about his slip-up of calling Ashley “Sloan” the night before.

Drama advises him to continue lying, and Turtle heads off to his first day as a UCLA college student.

Meanwhile, Ari finally makes amends with his wife, but experiences a huge problem at work when Marlo storms through the agency yelling and screaming like a demon to find Andrew’s “whore.”

Eric drops by Ashley’s place and apologizes again for the mistake. When she becomes skeptical, he promises to never lie to her again.

After Drama and Jamie finish their scene, studio exec Dan Coakley decides to drop by on-set to have lunch with Jamie. But Drama’s concerned that he wants to sleep with her.

While Eric is showering, Ashley listens to a voicemail on his phone from Sloan, realizing that she got Eric the job offer. Upset, Ashley walks out.

Vince drives Turtle to the UCLA campus, where they both experience a bit of popularity- Turtle being Jamie-Lynn’s boyfriend, and Vince…being Vince.

After Turtle leaves for class, Drama calls Vince to warn him that the studio exec is trying to hit on Jamie-Lynn. While Vince is off keeping himself busy with a college girl, Drama continues his spy up-dates on the lunch with Jamie and Coakley.

At the agency, Ari calls Lizzy and Andrew to his office and ends up firing Andrew. He tells him to go home and sort all this out with his wife.

Eric ends up taking the management job, after being assured that it has nothing to do with the fact that he’s friends with Vince.

After Drama can’t focus during his next scene -not knowing where Jamie and Coakley are- he bolts to the head office to confront the studio exec. When Coakley tells him that they didn’t fuck but now he’s setting his eyes on the Soprano star, Drama chokes him.

Coakley threatens to have Drama killed- by the writers- but Drama’s loyalty to Turtle is stronger.

Eric drops by Ashley’s place, who accuses him of having feelings for Sloan. Giving him one chance to admit it out in the open, Eric agrees that he still likes her.

Celeb Cameos:

Steve Nash, Jamie-Lynn Sigler.

Episode Importance:

Manning up

Drama deciding to put his friendship with Turtle before his career as an actor, Ari firing his best friend Andrew, and Eric finally admitting that he still has feelings for Sloan- in front of Ashley.

Not gonna lie, that takes balls boys.

Overall:

It could be…yes it is, she’s going, going…Ashley…is…GOOOONE!! (Well maybe not for good, but at least E admits that he’s still a Sloan-lover).

Nicely equipped episode. In fact, I’ll say it’s the best one of the season so far.

What makes a great episode is as follows: Ashley getting the boot. Nah, just kidding, but that was a relief.

Actually in my opinion, it’s a healthy combination of Action/Drama, Comedy, Sex, Partying and a Celeb cameo for brownie points.

1. Now there was tons of Action/Drama, as you can see- Drama choking a studio exec, E admitting to Ashley that he likes Sloan, Ari firing Andrew, and Marlo bursting into the agency trying to find Andrew’s “whore.”

3. Ari Gold is all the comedy you need- just take a look at his quote that made the Best Lines.

4. A very nice Vinnie Chase college dorm sex scene- which could very well turn into a interesting sex tape scandal for a story-arc.

and..

5. Steve Nash- whether he had half a line or not, still pretty wicked.

**True, there wasn’t any partying with the boys, but with the story-line of everyone growing up, we gotta take what we can get.

Rating:

4/5

Best Line(s):

1) Ari warning junior agent Lizzy about inner-office relationships – “You so much as eye-fuck another agent in this building, and I will deport you naked to the Taliban.”

Abso-fucking-lutley Brilliant.

2) Drama’s advice to E about keeping secrets from Ashley- “I know you like to think about yourself as honest-Abe and all, but in this situation, lie like a mattress.”

Best Moment(s):

1) Marlo storming into the Miller-Gold Agency like a mad woman. Well executed.

2) Drama’s confrontation with Dan Coakley.

3) After Drama just finished the kissing scene with Jamie-Lynn Sigler while Turtle watched, Jamie then kisses Turtle, and Drama blurts out “Ew, it’s like you just kissed me.”

Next Week: No More Drama- The house has a break-in. Drama must make amends with a studio executive, and E goes up against a co-worker at his new job.

While eating dinner with Ashley, Eric gets a phone call from Sloan who tells him she’s co-chairing a charity golf event that he’s participating in with the boys. But Eric keeps that news on the down-low from Ashley.

At the tournament, the boys meet an exhausted Ari who was forced to sleep on the couch for the first time in 15 years, because of the lie he told his wife about Andrew. He also has Lloyd caddying for his group the entire day to build his self-esteem, and plays with the annoying Jeffrey Tambor who cheats to impress his children.

Vince and Drama are paired up with Mark Wahlberg and Tom Brady, while Sloan tells Eric that mega-manager Murray Berenson requested to pair up with him.

Drama tries to spice up the day and puts a wager of a grand per hole, but ends up being the laughing stock due to his poor golf game and temper.

Eric gets a job offer to work as a manager at Berenson’s “big shop,” and Turtle -a Giants fan- tries to convince himself to tell Tom Brady he “sucks balls,” but decides not to last minute when Tom invites Turtle and Jamie-Lynn out for dinner with him and his wife Gisele.

Ari gets more guilt from his wife, who calls him regarding the new Maserati gift for her- assuming it’s a way of trying to buy her off rather than simply apologizing. But Ari explains that there’s a man-code, and it wasn’t his business to spread the news about Andrew’s affair.

When Eric finds out that it was Sloan who recommended him to Berenson, he questions the job and decides to confront her about it.

Later on that night while discussing the job offer with Ashley, Eric mistakingly calls her “Sloan.”
Celeb Cameos:

Episode Importance:

E’s love triangle

Now it’s finally starting take its shape, a nice solid mother fucking equilateral triangle. Sure E admits that he’s with Ashley, but it’s clear this guy is gonna have to make a decision soon- considering that lil’ slip-up at the end, mistakingly calling Ashley “Sloan.”

But I’m sure 99.99% of viewers are rooting for the re-DONK-ulously smoking Emmanuelle Chriqui.

Overall:

Kind of a random episode, but it had a nice touch- t’was pretty sweet seeing Wahlberg and Brady making cameos. E’s story-line progresses even more this week, as he gets a job offer to bigger and better things, and don’t forget his love drama shaping up between Sloan vs. Ashley.

Also by the way, I’m keeping with my earlier statements that this Ashley character his utterly useless. I think Lloyd’s left nut has a more important role, and it’s clear that she is only there as part of E’s individual story-line- and nothing else in the show.

On a better note, it was great seeing Drama this episode. Although he’s been spazzing out since his days of road-rage, Drama’s temper always gets me cracking- especially when he complains about his poor golf game and breaks Tom Brady’s custom-made club.

Speaking of complainers, Jeffrey Tambor had an excellent cameo appearance as he made Ari’s day at the event a living hell- cheating every chance he got to impress his brat kids and whining about everything.

But here’s the thing though, I’m kind of annoyed that Vince is just coasting the entire season so far though- I mean the guy’s story line is basically nothing besides dishing out cash when possible. I would really like to see the boys get occupied with another movie project already, otherwise, we’re bound to see the next few episodes only revolving around E or Turtle’s story-arcs.

And on another note, like I said last week, I think Ari’s gonna pack on some serious stress regarding his white-lie to his wife, and according to his interview with andPOP, we’ll see him breakdown soon.

Rating:

3.5/5

Best Line(s):

1) Jeffrey Tambour cautioning his kids to stop using foul language on the golf course- “Hey this is a family day, so shut the fuck up and hit the ball!”

2) Mark Whalberg’s first line, greeting Vince and the boys- “Yo, Gatsby and the funky bunch.”

T’was pretty smooth coming from Whalberg.

3) Turtle trying to suck-up to Tom Brady, yelling at Drama for breaking Brady’s golf club- “You broke Tom Brady’s club? You asshole. Sorry about that, Tom.”

Best Moment:

1) Drama freaking out over his horrible golf game with his $1000 per hole bet. His excuses: first it’s his lack of concentration, then it’s his apparently newly re-gripped club, then it’s the actual field. But breaking Brady’s club was hilarious.

Next Week:

Murphy’s Lie- Drama warns Jamie-Lynn about a sleazy network executive. E must clear the air with Ashley. Ari has problems at work with Marlo Klein.

This leaves a stress-free 12 weeks of vacation for the boys.

But not so with Ari, as his wife gets a call from Marlo Klein who’s looking for her husband Andrew. Ari covers it all up temporarily saying he’s probably with a client, but gets to the bottom of things at work, warning Klein that the affair with junior agent Lizzie better be over.

Andrew assures Ari it’s done, however when David Schwimmer shows up for a meeting and begins flirting with Lizzie, Andrew reveals his jealously.

Meanwhile, Vince is trying to figure out what he should do while on hiatus. Disappointed that all his buddies are too busy with their own lives, he decides to occupy himself with a waitress named Nicki for the afternoon…and Facebook too.

Drama, who’s being scripted a love interest for Five Towns, takes part in a model make-out casting session to see if any chemistry sparks- but nothing. He demands that the show get some real talent, but there’s not enough time for another casting session.

As a result, he pleads with Turtle to ask Jamie-Lynn if she would consider doing it. Turtle, out shopping for new wardrobes for school with Jamie-Lynn, immediately refuses.

When Lloyd tells Ari that Mr. Klein is crying alone in his car, Ari tries to figure out Andrew’s meltdown. He tells Andrew to think of his family, which he then takes the wrong way, and decides to leave his wife Marlo.

This leaves Mrs. Ari furious with Ari, when she hears from Marlo that Andrew broke off the marriage based on Ari’s advice.

When Turtle gets back to the house, he tells a depressed Drama that Jamie has agreed to do the brief make-out scene in Five Towns. And Eric breaks the news that he’s shutting down the Murphy Group.

Hookups: E and Ashley, Vince and a waitress named Nicki

Celeb Cameos: Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Jason Schwimmer

Episode Importance: Ari dealing with stress-

Seriously, the guy has to balance being one of the most powerful Hollywood agents, a husband, a father, a best friend…it’s obvious that the stress is going to start to get to him.

Now he has a decision to make: Side with his wife and get rid of Andrew before he makes even more commotion, or keep Klein- his latest agent gem (who’s bringing in a lot of business at work).

Ari has no time to babysit Andrew, and it’s clear that their relationship is on thin ice.

Overall: Truly amazing. Last week’s episode was one of the best produced in the series, but this one was by far the funniest of this season. Almost every scene left me laughing.

Sad to see our irish nugget close down the Murphy group, I really hope he continues working in the business somehow…and apparently next week, he’ll get just that.

And Jason Schwimmer at the agency was brilliant.

Rating: 4/5

Best Line(s):

1) Jason Schwimmer responding to an agent’s idea for a TV show he should do-

“Wow, so it’s kind of like ‘Raymond’ meets the ‘Loveboat.’ Cool…or I I just shoot myself in the fucking face right now.”

2) Ari telling Lloyd to keep an eye on Andrew- “Pretend he’s Zach Efron’s ball-sack!”

3) Timothy Busfield explaining to Drama why it took so long to get him a love interest-

“The network was resistant to the idea…they didn’t think the audience would believe you could get laid.”

Best Moment(s):

1) Jason Schwimmer’s performance at the agency. Hilarious.

2) Drama at the model-casting session for his love interest in Five Towns.

3) And then Drama- upset over the lack of talent in the pool of models- demanding that the show audition real A-List actresses for the role, such as Natalie Portman, Rachel McAdams, Jessica Alba or Scarlett Johanson…only for this brief kiss in one scene in an episode of the show.

The usual funny Drama shtick.

Next Week: Fore- Vince and Drama take on Tom Brady and Mark Wahlberg at a charity golf event. E gets an unexpected job offer. Ari is in trouble with Mrs. Ari.

This Week On Entourage: Eric, nervous about the pilot screening for Charlie’s new sit-com, is pissed off when Ashley- who just spent the night at his house -admits that Charlie sucks in the pilot.

Meanwhile, the boys are all celebrating Turtle’s 30th birthday, but Turtle is experiencing the birthday blues. After a phone call from his mother who chews him out after looking like an idiot in People’s Magazine- for the sneaker shot at the premiere with Jamie-Lynn -Turtle decides it’s about time that he make something of himself.

Vince decides to cheer him up by taking him and the boys Ferrari racing on a racetrack, and then gives him a $240,000 Ferrari as a birthday gift.

Only Jamie then comes by to deliver her birthday present: a balling black Porsche- leaving Turtle even more down on himself that he can’t man-up and buy his own stuff.

At the Miller-Gold agency, Lloyd’s latest challenge is to refrain from smiling, refer to each client by last name, and memorize their favorite drink.

Eric discusses Vince’s new lucrative movie offers with Ari, before then getting a phone call from the CW for the pilot screening: the show rocked, but Charlie flopped. They gotta replace him.

He then goes home and tries to figure out how to break the news to Charlie, and decides to listen to Ashley’s advice about the show.

On the advice of Ari, Eric then decides to go badass-agent and storm into the CW office to protect his client, telling off Amy Miller and calling her a racist. But no luck.

Not an Ari Gold-like line, but Ari tells Eric that he’s proud of him for trying.

Turtle, still trying to figure out what he should be doing with his life, goes to Ari for potential investors for a business he wants to start. But Ari tells it to him straight-up, there’s more to just having an idea…come back when you can prove it.

So at the birthday dinner that night, Turtle surprises everyone by telling them he’s going back to school- UCLA night courses in business. Drama decides to cover Turtle’s tuition as a birthday present.

Finally a busy and tired Eric arrives, and confesses to Vince that he likes Ashley rather than Sloan, and decides to take the bill for Turtle’s birthday dinner.

Hookups: Eric with Ashley twice

Celeb Cameos: 50 Cent, Jamie Lynn Sigler

Episode Importance: Vince said it best “Everyone wants to be their own man”

Eric is slowly showing glimpses of breaking into the world of being a Hollywood agent, and wants to try and make it on his own without having Vince’s name as a producer on the shows. He had to deal with his first network rejection for a client, and also his first time telling his client the rough news that he’s off the show.

Tough, but even Ari says that Eric’s making progress.

And Turtle, who’s been merely Vince’s sidekick and chauffeur, finally got a wake-up call, and has decided to pursue bigger and better things. Although after the meeting with Ari, Turtle learns that there’s tons of factors that he hasn’t even considered or heard about yet, and realizes he’s going to have to put in a lot of work and pay his dues for this one. Deciding to go back to school shows that he’s also trying to forge his own path and break out of the frat house.

Overall: Well done guys. Much better than last week.

The fact that E and Turtle are both trying to branch out makes the story-line for this season more and more interesting. I love seeing Ari sort of taking E under his wing and teaching him how to be a bad ass, and then in the end when nothing came out of it, saying he’s proud of him.

I’d also like to see Drama getting a storyline though- he’s always at his best when he has some work-related stress (we might be seeing it next week).

Turtle’s phone call with his mother was hilarious, and E barging into the network’s office- on the advice of Ari -was probably the best part of the episode.

But once again, really not feeling this Ashley character. Totally useless.

Overall, some great humor, solid plot advancements, and time with the boys. Nothing better.

Rating: 4/5

Best Line(s):

1) Drama recalling how mean Turtle’s mother was when they were growing up- “Remember your 13th birthday? She got you a Weight Watchers membership.”

2) Ari giving Eric advice on how to approach the network’s rejection of Charlie- “I would make a scene of biblical proportions. I would lie, scream, beg, borrow and steal. And if that somehow didn’t part Amy Miller’s legs, then I would somehow call her out on her racism, and I would yell for all to hear, ‘you’re really gonna fire my poor black client off the show he created!? I’m calling the NAACP, the Reverend Al Sharpton and the ghost of my man, Malcom X!”

3) Drama telling Eric about his experience with network rejections- “I hate when people tell me they hate me.”

4) Ari getting a call from Eric right after he just had a meeting with Turtle- “Wow it’s be a whole 10 minutes since I’ve been called by the Jonas Brothers, whatsup E?”

Best Moment(s):

1) Seeing Eric march into the CW’s office Ari Gold-style. Priceless.

2) When Loyd who has to refer to each client only by last name, refers to Turtle simply by
“Hello Mr…Turtle.”

3) When Turtle tells Ari that the bank won’t fund him for his business plan because he has no collateral, and Ari says “did you tell them about your hat collection?”

Next Week: Lloyd is sent to spy on Andrew Klein. Drama must prepare for a romantic scene on his show. Turtle gets a new wardrobe, courtesy of Jamie-Lynn, and Vince keeps himself occupied between projects.

According to E! News, Lowndes says the reports on ridiculous.

“None of it’s true. We’re all like a little family. There’s no drama, and everyone’s trying to create drama.”

As for drama on the show, Lowndes says audiences will expect a lot of it.

“Oh my God! It gets worse,” Lowndes said of her character. “The drugs just get harder and harder. And starting this Tuesday, my character starts her downfall. It’s pretty crazy. It’s pretty shocking. I definitely think people are going to be shocked.”

The remains were stored in a pink bear-shaped handbag and hidden in a wardrobe, leaving Love to suspect a former friend of the theft.

“I can’t believe anyone would take Kurt’s ashes from me,” Love told News of the World. “I find it disgusting and right now I’m suicidal. If I don’t get them back I don’t know what I’ll do. They were all I had left of him.”

Much of Cobain’s ashes were scattered in a New York Buddhist temple and in the Wishkah river in Washington state.
