Good news for all those dudes too poor to buy razors. Starting February 3, all Disney employees can show up to work unshaven.

In an attempt to loosen its legendary dress code – known as The Disney Look – men can sport a beard or goatee. Soul patches are not allowed, as the LA Times reports. Men can also rock a bald head, however women are not permitted to do so. Tattoos and piercings are still forbidden for both genders.

Still, the ability to now show up at Disneyland with a beard is still a giant step in the right direction. The company has one of the strictest dress codes around. Until 2010, women were required to wear pantyhose with skirts and couldn’t wear sleeveless tops.

I can’t wait until Prince Charming starts looking more like Prince Grizzly Bear next time I’m at Disneyland.

After the massive popularity of Disney Princesses on magazine covers, the Petite Tiaras Tumblr page has turned their attention to men.

The post features a few of your favourite Disney Princes on popular men’s magazines. Someone has craftily photoshopped the front covers of GQ, Men’s Journal, Esquire and Vogue with leading men from The Little Mermaid, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella.

The princes are posing beside hilarious editorials will headlines like: “Ariel Spills About Her Brand New Beau ” and “How To Look Your Best at The Next Ball.”

It’s not a bad idea, considering these fictional characters are the blueprint for what every women looks for in a man. GQ might want to consider printing one of these, after all, very few women can say no to Prince Charming.

How powerful is Demi Lovato? Well powerful enough to get a major company like Disney to pull an episode of a show and apologize. So what happened? Demi was upset over an eating disorder joke in the Disney show, “Shake It Up,” reports TMZ.

Lovato, who left the Disney show “Sonny With a Chance” to deal with an eating disorder, didn’t like the joke in “Shake It Up” — “I could just eat you up, well if I ate.”

Demi sent out a variety of tweets, one of them saying, ”I find it really funny how a company can lose one of their actress’ from the pressures of an EATING DISORDER and yet still make joke about that very disease….. #nice.”

Disney responded by saying, ”We hear you & are pulling both episodes as quickly as possible & reevaluating them … It’s NEVER our intention to make light of eating disorders!”

That’s pretty impressive Demi, and way to make Mickey Mouse your bitch.

We saw earlier this week what Disney princesses would look like if they were on popular magazine covers. Now, imagine what Snow White and Alice in Wonderland would look like if they bought some Manic Panic hair dye and listened to Megadeath.

Meet Alice in Ozfest. She has every Metallica album, including b-sides and she recently got over a nasty breakup with Jesse James.

This is Ariel Lavigne. She’s just getting accustomed to living in a big city. She has 30 tattoos and 10 piercing, some in places you wouldn’t even believe! She’s not a fan of long walks on the beach, but rather long motorcycle rides on the freeway.

This is Kat Von Beast. She owns her own tattoo shop in Brokeback, France. She’s a pretty big deal.

Check out the tats on Punkahontas! This chick never misses a NOFX show! I heard she even killed some dude named Jonathan Smith in a moshpit once.

xXxMulanxXx is the most badass, straight-edge babe around. I mean, this chick’s got skulls tattooed on her neck, how could you not be threatened by her? She doesn’t need to smoke or drink to have fun. All she needs is a Davey Havek by her side!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if Disney princesses were real? They’d surely be models because they’re tall, slim and graceful.

Well, Buzzfeed just posted what some of the biggest Disney starlets would look like if they landed magazine covers. Snow White nabs Vogue because she’s the epitome of sophistication. Ariel, the Little Mermaid, is on the cover of Seventeen because she best represents the tween demographic. Pocahontas gets the cover of Nylon because she’s exotic and according to the fashion magazine, “native wear” and fringe is really IN! Jasmine gets paired with Cosmo because….well, her outfit says it all.

Dude f*****d up!

Hannah Montana star Mitchel Musso was arrested in Burbank, California yesterday after failing a sobriety test and blowing over the legal limit.

According to TMZ, Musso, 20, was driving a black Mercedes that raised suspicion to cops because it apparently reaked of booze.

My first suggestion for Mitchel would normally be to find a good lawyer. However, he would be better served applying for the witness protection program. When Disney’s people get ahold of him it’ll be far worse than anything a judge could hand out.

Everyone knows there’s two ways to end your career in Hollywood: by acting in anything involving Mel Gibson OR by do anything to tarnish Mickey Mouse’s reputation. If I was Mr. Musso I would lay low for a little while and hope the people at Disney are too busy worrying about Trase Cyrus’ big fat teen shotgun wedding.

When Trace Cyrus, former lead singer of Metro Station, knocked up Disney star Brenda Song, we all thought the baby would be born out of wedlock. Not anymore!

The two announced on Twitter that they’re getting married. Trace tweeted: “I am very excited to say, last week I asked my girlfriend to marry me and she said YES! We are both very excited to be engaged!”

Aside from being Miley Cyrus’ older brother, Trace, 22, runs a clothing line called From Backsteats to Bedrooms (perhaps that’s how the baby happened?). Brenda, 23, will soon be seen in the movie Boogie Town. But expect both of them to be laying low before the baby comes out.

For the sake of this article we’re going to pretend that Eden Wood’s mother hasn’t been pumping her child with baby botox on her vicarious vacation to La-La Land. Ignoring the fact that her parents are planting the seeds for an eating disorder and distorting the poor child’s limited grip on reality, this video is kind of cute. The miniature beauty queen talks about her favourite Disney star Selena Gomez who gets the seal of approval because “she’s pretty”. She also goes on to say that if she met Selena she would probably pass out. We’re going to assume this is due to her excitement and not the fact that her parents have her on a strict diet of lettuce and petroleum jelly. When asked about Justin Bieber, however, she didn’t want to play nice. Unfortunately, she doesn’t share the same enthusiasm for the Sultan of Swag and the budding sociopath decides violence is the only answer. Watch as the Biebs gets threatened by a six year-old.

When Selena Gomez was rushed to the hospital on June 9 shortly after a taping at the Tonight Show, complaining of nausea and a sever headache, many feared for her health and wished her a quick recovery. When she returned to the hospital two days later and pinned off her sickness as a result of malnutrition, many feared that she would be following in the footsteps of her long-time friend and co-Disney spawn Demi Lovato, who checked into rehab a while back due to emotional and physical issues, one of them being an eating disorder.

Gomez was quick to clear up any speculation or rumors surrounding her recent illness, including an eating disorder and, as crazy as it sounds, a possible pregnancy scare brought on as a joke by none other than Perez Hilton himself. While  on the Kidd Kraddick radio show, Gomez said, “I do eat! The problem is is I don’t eat right…I love everything that’s possibly not good for me.”

As much as we are prone to taking everything celebrities say with a grain of salt, I think in this instance we can actually believe Gomez when she says she does not have an eating disorder. Not to mention the fact that she has an amazing mom who will no doubt keep her in line. “She’s been supermom right now,” Gomez said. “She’s definitely shoving vitamins down my throat and following me around.”

On Kidd Kraddick, Gomez also confessed to loving junk food, including M&Ms, Kit Kats, Snickers, and Goobers. “I have to have creamed spinach,” she added, “or I have to have cheese on my broccoli. I have to have something that makes it not healthy.”

Whatever the case, we are extremely happy that it is not an eating disorder that Gomez is battling with, but rather a mere case of wanting to eat too much unhealthy food.

What’s interesting to point out is that in the June/July 2011 issue of Teen Vogue, of which Gomez adorns the cover, Gomez told Lauren Waterman that she recorded her single, “Who Says,” for her fans, saying, “I just thought they needed it, because of bullying.” And it was bullying that caused Gomez’s fellow Barney and Friends pal, Lovato, to take a downward spiral full of eating disorders and self-mutilation.

“I’ve spoken openly about being bullied  throughout the past few years, but one thing that I’ve never been able to feel comfortable talking about was the effects that it had on me afterward,” Lovato told ABC News in an interview. “I literally didn’t know why they were being so mean to me. And when I would ask them why, they would just say, ‘Well, you’re fat.’”

It seems maybe Gomez had a double-incentive when putting out that particular single. Regardless, we are extremely happy to see her back on her feet and performing, not missing a beat and doing all she can not to let her fans down. We just can’t wait to see her co-host this year’s MuchMusic Video Awards on June 19!

It looks like high school is finally over for two Disney stars!

Perez Hilton is reporting that teen heartthrob Zac Efron has finally split from costar and girlfriend of four years Vanessa Hudgens.

It’s been confirmed that nothing dramatic spurned the breakup, and that there was no third party involvement (read: nobody cheated).

Zefron and Hudgens met on the set of Disney’s smash made-for-TV movie, High School Musical, and have been dating ever since.

It’s always sad to see a stable (and relatively normal) couple head to splitsville, but let’s not mourn their relationship for too long. Guys, you’re still young! Go forth and be single!

Demi Lovato have been written out of her Disney show Sonny With a Chance until she can get herself out of rehab, reports Pop Eater. Lovato checked into a centre to help her with the “emotional and physical issues” that have been plaguing her as of late.

The show, which premiered in February 2009 and focuses on Lovato’s character Sonny Monroe, a teen star on the kid’s sketch comedy program So Random!, will resume shooting season three in mid-January on schedule regardless of Lovato’s health. Reps from the show have explained that releasing Demi from her duties on set will give her the time and energy to focus on getting better.

Hmm…getting the axe from your own show seems like something that would add stress rather than take it away, no?

New episodes of Sonny With a Chance will reportedly focus more on guest stars and the other cast members of the show-within-a-show, So Random. This will presumably go on until Lovato gets a clean bill of health from her doctors.

Just focus on getting well, Demi! Don’t let the Mouse House overwork you!

Demi Lovato has been in the news recently as reports of her emotional issues surfaced.  The actress’ so called ‘emotional and physical issues,’ as RadarOnline reports, forced her to cancel a tour with the Jonas Brothers and check herself into rehab treatment.

Following the news, Demi’s father, Patrick Lovato, spoke out about how he thinks Demi ended up at this place in her life.  He claims that the pressures of show business have been hard on her and denounced his dislike his daughter’s choice to sign with Disney.

“There are a lot of pressures,” said Patrick.  “That is one of the things I worried about when she signed with Disney. It’s just going to happen.”

Demi has been estranged from her father for quite some time and her fans have come to her defence, some in very extreme ways.

RadarOnline reports that Patrick Lovato has been receiving death threats in response to his comments, including a note which was nailed to a fence at his home which read, “You’re dead.”

“I don’t care, let them come at me,” explained Patrick, continuing, “I’m not responsible for where Demi is right now… I love my daughter.”

Although Disney’s lawyers and Demi’s mother have spoken out against Patrick’s allegations, there haven’t been any lawsuits slapped down yet.

According to sources all over the web, Demi Lovato has checked herself into rehab for undisclosed “emotional and physical issues.” Perezhilton.com reports from an insider source that Lovato is being treated for an eating disorder as well as self-abuse. Lovato also will not be finishing her tour with the Jonas Brothers.

Apparently Lovato was quite the party girl on her current tour. Lovato and her reps have blamed the bad habits and the rehab stint on the pressures of Hollywood and fame. It’s not difficult to believe that fame can do harmful things to a person especially when young and vulnerable like Lovato. We’ve seen so many cases of child stars going down the wrong path from Drew Barreymore to Lindsay Lohan.

It seems that many of the Disney starlets are troubled. You have Lindsay Lohan who got her start in Disney films and now she is in and out of rehab. Miley Cyrus isn’t in rehab, but she has tainted her pure image quite a bit in the last year. We can even take Britney Spears as an example as she got her start in the Mickey Mouse Club. What is the deal with Disney?

In any case, hopefully Lovato pulls through the rehab stint and can get back to Camp Rock. However, Disney may pull the plugs on this one, she’s no longer innocent.

“Alice in Wonderland” has proven that its strong box office performance last week is no fluke.

The film earned an additional $62 Million last week, making its total box office gross $208 Million, according to Hollywood Insider. 13 percent of that money came from the IMAX 3-D screens.

“Alice in Wonderland” has become Tim Burton’s highest grossing film, beating out 2005′s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” No bet the executives at Disney are very happy they produced this film.

“Alice in Wonderland” is a money maker, making over $68 Million at the box office.

The Tim Burton film topped original box office expectations by the Disney executives. However one cannot be completely surprised by these results with people lining up for 11am screenings. Additionally there was strong support from British audiences which brought in $16.8 Million, even though the film almost wasn’t released in theatres there.

With the success of “Avatar”, it appears that 3D movies are the next generation of film telling, and audiences seem very excited.

Miramax has come crumbling down.

According to slashfilm.com, Disney plans to close the doors of the studio which is known for distributing films that launched the careers of Quentin Tarantino, Kevin Smith, Steven Soderbergh and more.

Kevin Smith made the following comment on the closure:

“I’m crushed to see it pass into history, because I owe everything I have to Miramax.  Without them, I’d still be a New Jersey convenience store register jockey. In practice, not just in my head.”

Miramax was started by Bob and Harvey Weinstein in 1979.

The infamous blonde wing and cowboy boots are being hung up. Perhaps for good.

After about a year of speculation, a Disney representative confirmed that the Hannah Montana show will end after the fourth and final season.

Hannah Montana first premiered on The Disney Channel in March 2006.

Disney Interactive Studios has announced that Mickey Mouse will be taking his adventures beyond Kingdom Hearts. Along with Junction Point, Disney is developing a new platform-adventure gaming starring the 81-year old anthropomorphic rodent.

In Disney Epic Mickey, the mouse pulls an inFAMOUS and unwittingly devastates the world of the Cartoon Wasteland, where old and retired cartoon characters go – which ironically sounds like Florida without Disneyland.

Mickey stumbles into this realm and must choose to be a hero or to just get the hell out as fast as he can, since being the mouse that inadvertently rained destruction on this world he isn’t exactly popular. Sounds good, especially with the combat style being approached from the 4th-wall breaking idea of paints and thinners.  I’ve always wanted to erase Donald Duck anyway.

So playing Fable as Mickey Mouse, huh? Sounds interesting. We’ll keep an eye on it for you.

Disney Interactive Studios has announced recently that there will be a Disney Sing It: Pop Hits, available to the masses. With the game being a multi-platform karaoke style title letting everyone the chance to give it a try. There will be a lot of familiar songs and expect singing tips along side vocal lessons from Tiffany Thornton herself.

On the Wii, Playstation 3 and Playstation 2 consoles, players will have the opportunity to match their talents with the performers which includes master recordings and popular music videos from global fan favorites.

With a bevy of modes that range from duets to competitive singing ensures enjoyment for one person or a group of your friends.  New features include “Sing It Encore,” and “Run the Risk,” which allows players to play back performances and contestants try to correctly predict scores against their opponents.
