Perez Hilton speculates Dina Lohan could be selling a tell-all book about her troubed daughter, Lindsay Lohan.

It seems like not a day has gone by without hearing of something Lindsay Lohan has done wrong. Now, she’s spending court-appointed time at the L.A. County Morgue before the judge decided if she’ll do hard time.

Rather than comforting her daughter and trying to put the family back together in one piece, Dina has been trying to book meetings, Perez says. Thankfully, no one seems interested in her Lindsay memoir.

Dina really has to go away. She should be putting her blood, sweat and tears into being a better mom, not a best-seller. C’mon! This is not how the “White Oprah” should be behaving!

We all know Dina Lohan isn’t exactly the Mother of the Year she thinks she is.

Liv Tyler’s rock icon of a mother, Bebe Buell, has some harsh words for the troubled actress and her troubled mother.

Perez Hilton reports Bebe gave an interview with Steppin’ Out Magazine, in which she candidly spoke of how she’d whip the Parent Trap star into shape:

‘”Dina Lohan’s relationship with her daughter Lindsay disturbs me. I don’t see a mother and a daughter there…But if my baby girl got that screwed up I would NOT allow to make her own decisions. I’m sorry! Anybody can think what they want. But I would abduct my child and I would make sure that I didn’t leave her side until she didn’t have those problems anymore.”

Bebe also goes on to say if the peroxide blonde star was taken under her wing, she’d win an Oscar in two years. That’s a lot of wishful thinking. Has Bebe even seen I Know Who Killed Me? If Lindsay and Dina Lohan have a future in anything, we think it’s go-go dancing at Cheetah’s.

Those crazy Lohans – what ridiculous stunt will they pull next. Dina Lohan (Lindsay’s Mom) is now trying to produce a film, and is looking for $5.28 Million from investors.

TMZ reports the film is called ”Growing Defiant” — which takes “a hard look at the social pressures that can lead a kid in the wrong direction.” Does this sound familiar????

And Dina thinks she can potentially get an all-star cast. Her business plan says potential actors include Dakota Fanning, Selena Gomez, Michael Cera, James Gandolfini, Susan Sarandon, Tina Fey,Amanda Seyfried, Hayden Panettiere, Emma Stone, and Mila Kunis … oh, and Michael Lohan, Jr. in the starring role of a heroin addict.

With all do respect Dina, we wouldn’t trust you to make a sex video, nevermind a Hollywood movie.

Another chapter of the Lohan family drama unveils.

Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael went live on the radio this morning to talk about Lindsay’s court trial, their family problems, and anything else he could exploit to the media. In the radio interview, found on PerezHilton.com, Michael claims Dina has snorted cocaine with Lindsay in the past. When asked if Dina was an enabler for Lindsay, Michael had this to say.

“She drank, she partied, she did coke with Lindsay – give me a break,” said Michael.

“At the begining, before Lindsay went to Betty Ford, Dina was still saying ‘my daughter doesn’t have a problem, she’s fine.’ But now that everyone knows she does and when she admitted it, now she’s coming clean and saying she knew it all along.”

This revelation doesn’t really come as a surprise to me. I mean, everyone knows that Dina’s parenting skills have never been exceptional. Now, to believe this announcement or not is the other issue. Michael has had a long history of lying and stretching the truth to the media, so maybe he is making this up to get back at his ex. It’s obvious they aren’t on the best of terms.

What I do know is that I feel bad for Lindsay. Between her court trials and personal issues, the last thing she needs right now is a very public feud between her parents. Plus, bringing up her drug past is surely not going to help her in her trial. I don’t care how fair the judge claims to be, if they see that Lindsay’s parents are feuding, talking about her drug past, or whatever it may be, this will obviously lead them to see Lindsay in a negative light. Do I think Lindsay is an innocent little angel? No. Did she steal the necklace? Probably. But is it fair that her parents expose her personal life for the whole world to see? Is it okay that I’m sitting here writing about it? No. I can only pray for Lindsay.

Lindsay is still on trial for allegedly stealing a necklace valued at $2,500 from Kamofie & Company. There is supposed video evidence of Lindsay stealing the necklace, but she continues to plead her innocence. The jewlers have had suspicious info in their claims as well, such as the necklace being way overpriced and inconsistencies in their facts.

It has been learned that Lindsay is most likely going to jail for up to six months if sentenced in Judge Keith Schwartz’s court.

After 90 days in the Betty Ford Center, Lindsay Lohan is finally free once more!

Popeater is reporting that Lindsay’s parents, Dina and Michael Lohan, are incredibly proud of their daughter and firmly believe that she has taken huge steps toward getting fully healthy once more.

“She’s just a different person,” Dina explained in an interview with Matt Lauer. “Shes been in a couple facilities, but this one, to me, has really changed her.”

In a separate interview with the Early Show, Michael echoed Dina’s sentiments. “She has taken the right steps and put the right people back into her life,” he gushed.

Lindsay’s parents have had a history of public feuding, especially over what is best for Lindsay, so it’s nice to see them agree about something for once!

Lohan is expected to stay in LA to work on her clothing line rather than return to her Long Island home. She has no upcoming film projects after dropping out of what was supposed to be her comeback vehicle, a Linda Lovelace biopic titled “Inferno”, due to her time in jail and rehab.

Keep up the good work, Lindsay! You can get better! We believe in you!

It looks like Gwyneth Paltrow’s appearance on Glee a couple of weeks ago has reached the television sets of the Betty Ford Center!

Radar Online is reporting that Lindsay Lohan, a friend of Paltrow’s, was absolutely crushed when she saw Paltrow’s guest character on the show call her out on her craziness. Paltrow, while playing a substitute Spanish teacher, said to her students “Lindsay Lohan is totally crazy right?… How many times has Lindsay Lohan been to rehab?”

Dina Lohan says that her daughter was deeply hurt by the episode, adding “we are the first to make fun of ourselves in our family. Lindsay has even done SNL a few times, but Gwyneth went overboard and it was unnecessary.”

The words may have come out of Paltrow’s mouth, but we think your anger should be directed towards Glee’s writers rather than the actress herself. She’s paid to say their words, after all!

It looks like yet another friendship has been torn apart by the shallow, grimace-worthy plots of Glee!

In the continued competition for the biggest celebrity douchebag Dad, Michael Lohan maybe taking the lead beating out both Levi Johnston and Jon Gosselin.

Michael Lohan, father of celebrity wreck Linsday Lohan, issued a statement to PopEater.com explaining why his daughter was released from jail.

“As you know, thank God, Lindsay was released from jail tonight. However, what what most don’t know is that her release wasn’t due to the efforts of any one person. She was released because that’s what God wanted.

Lindsay walked into court, convinced by the ‘machine’ that she would ‘skate’ on the violation, but as it was, that did not happen. As a matter of fact, as was the case last time, Lindsay was misled.”

Lohan added:

“Unfortunately, this is NOT over yet. Lindsay still has to appear before Judge Fox (the same judge Shawn Holley just slapped in the face) on Oct 22. At which time, she will have to face his decision on the violation itself.

Dina and I caused this (by divorcing) and it’s our job to fix it. I pray that Dina and I can come to terms and do just that.”

What an amazing effort by this guy to milk his daughter’s own problems for his own celebrity. Granted we don’t think Dina Lohan is any prize of a Mother, but she has to be better than this schmuck!

Matt Lauer really gave Dina Lohan the gears this morning on “Today,” and the celebrity Mom didn’t like it one bit! The conversation was blatantly awkward and tense throughout the 11 minutes.

“Dina felt ambushed by Matt,” a family friend told PopEater after speaking with Lohan. “She was surprised how many tough questions he asked.”

Apparently Dina thought the conversation would be focused on Judge Marsha Revel’s alleged mishandling of her daughter’s case. Instead the conversation was focused on the public image of Lindsay, and Dina’s parenting skills.

“She didn’t understand why [Lauer] kept asking her those other questions — she knows she’s a great mother and Lindsay will get out of rehab soon,” the friend insists. “Everyone makes mistake, it’s just that Lindsay makes it into the papers.”

There is no secret that Lindsay Lohan is a train wreck right now, with people speculating that she is so out of control, she will die. So what does her father do? Michael Lohan is speaking out publicly.

Right now Lohan is holding a press conference saying that his daughter needs help, that she needs to be placed in rehab, and he has been misjudged. Lohan continues to blame his ex-wife Dina for many of Lindsay’s problems, and Dina is preventing him from helping his daughter.

Even if Michael is generally concerned, there is something about his persona that seems disingenuous. Plus this guy doesn’t have the greatest track record (Lohan has done time for insider trading).

So let’s all hope that Linsday gets help, but not sure Michael’s public plea is going to help her.

You know you’ve jumped from A to C list when you aren’t even allowed into parties anymore. According to perezhilton.com, Lindsay Lohan showed up to the Victoria’s Secret party Thursday night at Trousdale in LA, where she was denied entrance into the bash.

“As soon as she strolled up to the door, the rope was quickly pulled in front of her. She tried to pass the big bodyguard but he blocked her way. The security guys weren’t having it and escorted her to the exit,” a source says.

Well, at least someone was on the 23-year-old’s side. Too bad it was only her mother. Dina Lohan, 47, claims her daughter wasn’t purposely denied entry.

“Lindsay wasn’t banned from the guest list. I’m sure that whatever happened was just a misunderstanding.”

Granted, parenthood is complex.  Children need unconditional love, stability and guidance. 

When parents fail to provide any of those needs, you end up with the childhood version of Drew Barrymore.

Based on the number of celebs who have entered rehab in recent years, it’s obvious that more than a handful have some loose screws. While many blame a star’s inability to adjust to a lifestyle of fame and fortune for their problems, perhaps more responsibility should be placed on those who have raised them.

Before you leave me a 500-word thrashing on how I must not understand the difficulties of parenthood, realize that I am not claiming that any parent of a celebrity is a horrible person—just someone in vital need of re-evaluating their very questionable parenting skills.

Without further ado, here are parents of celebrities who, like many of their children, need some mental help:

Dina Lohan:

I never thought I would say these words together in a sentence, but here it goes:

Poor Lindsay Lohan.

Lindsay can somewhat blame her out-of-control behaviour on two people in her life. Her parents. But while Lindsay easily points the finger of blame at her alleged abusive father, there is one guilty party she tends to overlook.

Her mother. Dina fame-whore Lohan.

There’s something to be said about a mother who, without her daughter’s approval, hired ‘Entertainment Tonight’ cameramen to follow her visit to the drug rehabilitation centre where Lindsay was receiving “treatment.” Dina also uses her other daughter, fifteen-year-old Ali, to star on their reality show ‘Living Lohan.’ After watching just a few episodes, it’s clear that Dina uses her daughter’s doomed-to-fail career to progress her own.

But it doesn’t stop there.

When Dina is not capitalizing on either daughter’s fame, reports claim she’s out partying and drinking. I can now see why Dina won the Long Island “Mother of the

Year” award back in 2008. Who else was in the running for the title? Courtney Love? You know, the mother who allegedly shot heroin while pregnant with daughter Francis Bean?

So how does Dina (the woman who takes credit for every (rare) good decision Lindsay makes yet denies involvement in every bad choice) expect her daughter to succeed in rehab treatment she receives when she acts out in the exact same uncontrollable way?

While I refuse to absolve Lindsay of any responsibility for her actions, I feel a slight compassion for her knowing that Dina is acting more like a (crappy) best friend than a mother.

Michael Lohan:

There’s no need to state why Michael Lohan will not be winning a “Father of the Year” award anytime soon. But I’m positive that his suspected domestic abusive past or the fact that he’s been in prison more than once doesn’t make him qualify. Then again, stranger things have happened (refer to “Dina won the Long Island ‘Mother of the Year’ award” comment above for further explanation).

Joe Simpson:

The father of Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz surely knows how to creep people out.

From his inappropriate comments about his Jessica’s sexiness and size of breasts (The whole “She’s got double D’s! You can’t cover those suckers up!” 2004 GQ magazine interview quote is permanently and painfully burned into my memory) to his overall control of Jessica’s lifestyle, Joe needs to back down and spend time AWAY from his daughters. Even though she is 28, Joe barely allows Jessica out of his sight. I suddenly have an uncomfortable feeling that Joe must’ve attended Jessica’s wedding night with Nick Lachey—just to make sure that she was okay. How romantic.

Lynne Spears:

While Lynne Spears states that she was not a pushy “stage mom” when it came to her daughter’s career, I have a difficult time buying into her claims. I doubt that any child, regardless of how much they want to achieve fame, crave the daily lifestyle that Britney had to endure at her age in the showbiz.

While Lynne appears to have better intentions for her children than Dina Lohan, it is difficult to truly understand her parenting skills (considering both her children have babies and unpredictable/unstable relationships with men).

Linda Hogan:

I have nothing against women dating younger men. But Linda’s relationship with a 19-year-old boy is not the same. When a parent dates a student from their child’s yearbook class page, red flags need to go up.  Then again, the rest of the Hogan family lacks a record of smart life decisions (Hulk Hogan’s comment about “totally” understanding disgraced football player O.J Simpson takes the cake).

Lindsay Lohan and “friend” Samantha Ronson were seen entering Century City Hospital on Thursday night.

Although Linday’s rep initially told press that the young star went to the hospital to visit a friend, mom Dina Lohan told “People” magazine that her daughter was having an asthma attack.

“She was losing oxygen. She couldn’t breathe,” said Dina Lohan.

“She was afraid to go the hospital because [the paparazzi] were gonna write about it. She was sick. If you were sick, and you’re mother couldn’t even take you to a hospital because paparazzi will fabricate some story, you know, it’s sad. It’s really sad.”

It must be love: little by little, Lindsay Lohan isn’t really hiding her relationship with Samantha Ronson any more.

The New York Post reports that Lohan and the celebrity DJ – who is openly gay – are moving in together.

This news comes after Lohan and Ronson have been on a romantic European getaway, and were even caught on camera in a sweet embrace on Sean Combs’ yacht in Cannes. Lohan has also been seen sporting a diamond encrusted ring on her left ring finger, sparking rumours that the two are engaged.

Both Lohan’s mother and her younger sister, Aliana, have released a statement claiming that Lindsay is not a lesbian.

Several magazines are apparently offering Lohan a huge check if she will come out to them exclusively.
