Actress CAMERON DIAZ has denied having anything to do with illusionist CRISS ANGEL’s separation from his wife.
In papers filed by Angel’s estranged wife Joanne Sarantakos at Nassau County Court, New York on Friday the bitter ex named the Charlie’s Angels star as the “other woman” in her divorce battle.
A legal representative for Sarantakos, who is said to have hired a private investigator to track Angel’s activities, said, “We’re naming Cameron Diaz as his lover. We will subpoena her as soon as she comes back to New York.”
However, Diaz’s spokesman Brad Cafarelli tells website People.com, “When Cameron met Criss Angel in May of this year, he had been separated from his wife for over a year and she had already filed a petition to divorce him in 2006.”
Angel, 39, recently denied being in a relationship with Diaz, 34, following a string of sightings of the couple in Las Vegas. In a TV interview, the magic man said, “I’m honoured to call Cameron a friend.”

The split comes just a month after Angel, 39, denied a relationship with Diaz, 34, in spite of the pair being spotted out on the town in Las Vegas.
A legal rep for estranged wife Joanne Sarantakos, who is said to have hired a private investigator to track Angel’s activities, says, “We’re naming Cameron Diaz as his lover. We will subpoena her as soon as she comes back to New York.”
It is also claimed that Sarantakos, 37, was made to keep her five-year marriage to the magic man a secret in order to boost his appeal to female fans.
Angel, who shot to fame on the Broadway sensation Mindfreak, has just signed a $200 million casino show contract in Las Vegas.
A spokesperson for Diaz responded saying, “Cameron and Criss met in May of this year. They went on four dates over a month ago, and do not have any romantic relationship currently.”

Former couple CAMERON DIAZ and JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE came face-to-face with each other at the world premiere of SHREK THE THIRD in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Diaz, who plays Princess Fiona in all three Shrek movies, landed her ex a role in the third installment in the animated hit while they were still dating.
While the exes managed to avoid a red carpet collision at Mann Village Theatre, they welcomed each other with a hug and a kiss at the cast photos later on.
The couple split in January after nearly four years together.
Other stars at the premiere included Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas, Melanie Griffith, Teri Hatcher, Rupert Everett, Dame Julie Andrews, Mary J. Blige, Mya, Larry King and Ray Liotta.

CAMERON DIAZ refuses to cry herself to sleep after splitting from JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, because she believes breaking up is just part of the journey of life.
The couple split at the start of the year, but the CHARLIE’S ANGELS star insists she’s “very happy” with the direction her life is now taking.
She explains, “You just go through having your heart broken in relationships. It’s never fun, but you know you have to get over it at some point or another. Overall I’m very happy with everything now. My life is a journey just like everybody else’s.
“Some days I think I’ve got everything all figured out, and other days I’m like, what the hell is going on? But that’s the real, human experience that everyone has.”

“You don’t have to say, what you did. I already know. I found out from him,” are not words Justin Timberlake will need to repeat just yet. The alledged claims made by the National Enquirer, that girlfriend Cameron Diaz was caught cheating on Timberlake, are simply not true, says the actress.
For these false claims, Diaz is filing a lawsuit against the National Enquirer after the tabloid printed a headline on May 23 which read “Cameron Caught Cheating.” Along with this headline came photos of Diaz and an unnamed man who we later learn is MTV producer, Shane Nickerson.
The tabloid made the photos of Diaz and Nickerson, a married man, appear as if two were kissing and having an affair.
Both Diaz and Nickerson say they were denied a retraction and an apology by the Enquirer. Each are asking for over $10 million in damages.
Stu Zakim, spokesman for American Media who publishes The National Enquirer, does not seem to be backing down from the tabloid’s accusation, “We fully stand behind the reporting of the story and we will defend the lawsuit aggressively.”
