The guy famous for his twisted role on “Dexter”, Michael C. Hall, has moved on from his divorce from co-star Jennifer Carpenter with….Jennifer Carpenter!
The couple finalized their divorce in December but they’ve been spotted looking like a normal married couple in Venice Beach yesterday.
Michael and Jenn have been through a lot as a married couple. Jenn never left his side while he was undergoing cancer treatment. Seems like there’s still hope for the two.
“He is and always will be one of my best friends in the world. Just because the marriage ended doesn’t mean the love isn’t still there,” Carpenter told reporters last year.
So much for irreconcilable differences.
It has been confirmed by TMZ.com that Jennifer Carpenter, co-star and wife of Michael C. Hall, filed a petition for divorce Wednesday afternoon citing “irreconcilable differences”.
It must be pretty awkward to play brother and sister on Dexter. We’ve seen the demise of c0-star love before with Chad Michael Murray and Sofia Bush who star in One Tree Hill. Celebrities really don’t take the lesson, “don’t sh*t where you eat” to heart.
Too bad, Hall and Carpenter made a good couple.
Julia Stiles is also denying reports of her alleged role in the break up. Stiles apparently got “close” to Hall while shooting this season. However, the couple has been separated since August.
Hopefully there isn’t too much tension on set for the next season of Dexter.
They play brother and sister on the show “Dexter,” but they will now become divorcees in the real world. TMZ is reporting that Jennifer Carpenter will be filing for divorce against Michael C. Hall this week.
Sources tell TMZ the couple have apparently been separated for “some time.”

Dexter star Michael Hall has cancer, according to E! News. The actor has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a non-lethal form of cancer, and thankfully has already started to recover. Hall credits his doctors for finding the cancer at an early stage, making it “treatable and curable condition.”

One good thing has come out of the writers’ strike: “Dexter” is finally moving to regular television.
Beginning in February, CBS will air the first season of the critically-acclaimed drama, which originally ran on the CBS-owned Showtime.
The series stars Michael C. Hall (“Six Feet Under”) as a forensics expert with a dark secret: He’s also a vigilante serial killer.
The move, spurred on by the need for new material during the WGA strike, marks the first time that a full season of a current “premium cable” series will air on U.S. network television.
The show is expected to be heavily edited for the CBS broadcasts.
The first season of “Dexter” will begin airing on CBS on Feb. 17 and run for 12 consecutive Sundays.

According to Page Six.com, Michael C. Hall, star of HBO’s “Dexter,” is dating his on-screen sister, Jennifer Carpenter. The site reports that the two have been seen on various dates looking “cozy” together, including going out for breakfast early on a Saturday morning.
Hall filed for divorce from his wife last year.
