It all came out of the blue when the “Skyscraper” singer tweeted “Twitter break. It’s for the best actually. Who allows me to have this thing anyways?!!! I just get myself in trouble! Haha. Anyway… BYE!”
Demi has not updated her account since Saturday, leaving fans wondering exactly how long this so-called break is going to last.
We’ve been through this before with other celebrities like Ashton Kutcher and Chris Brown quitting Twitter but those were just empty threats. Demi’s not facing any kind of controversy, professionally or personally, so this is a rather surprising decision.

Demi Lovato has had a rocky couple of years. However, she thinks God has been putting her through these tests and challenges.
“Sometimes it seems like God just keeps throwing crap my way and I get SO angry with him … But there’s never a doubt in my mind He’s gonna pull me through it all. I know you’re there God. But umm … Really dude? He never fails to show me He’s by my side though. Even in the tough times. #Godstuff. (sic)” she tweeted.
The Disney star, however, insists that she isn’t very religious but more of a spiritual person.
“I’m not very religious but I’m VERY spiritual and I DO believe in God. I’m not perfect or preaching! Just tweeting… 
Just keep swimming. (sic)” she added.
Demi Lovato was the at the Seventeen Magazine luncheon on Wednesday. She took some questions from reporters, and one was particularly interesting.
Demi was asked which artist would be her dream collaboration. Her response? Eminem.
“Hopefully, I can work with Eminem,” Lovato said. “He’s my favorite rapper so anything with him would be amazing.”
This might be doable. Eminem has worked with pop stars in the past, and Demi does have a little bit of an edge. Maybe we can make this happen?

Demi shared, “There were two people [who were there for me]. No matter how many times we fight, we will always be in each others’ lives. [Miley Cyrus and I] are very strong-headed, so when we fight, it’s brutal and we’re like, ‘We’re never going to be friends again!’ Then two days later, we’re like, ‘I love you and I miss you!’”
“Selena [Gomez] and I, we never fight. She’s not a confrontational person at all. Both of them will never leave my life no matter what happens, because we’ve been through so much together,” Demi added of her BFF.
Demi Lovato is trading her Mercedes for a horse – okay that was a tad over exaggerated. However, Lovato is definitely going country. She posted on Twitter that she is experimenting with country music.
“Wrote my first country song today. ” she wrote on Twitter on Thursday.
“I like to experiment with my music,” she told MTV News. “Someday, I joke around, but I’m actually pretty serious about coming out with a country album. I want to do everything. I love music and I love all types of music.”
Her latest album “Unbroken” has been a smash hit. If she starts going country, Taylor Swift better watch out.

How powerful is Demi Lovato? Well powerful enough to get a major company like Disney to pull an episode of a show and apologize. So what happened? Demi was upset over an eating disorder joke in the Disney show, “Shake It Up,” reports TMZ.
Lovato, who left the Disney show “Sonny With a Chance” to deal with an eating disorder, didn’t like the joke in “Shake It Up” — “I could just eat you up, well if I ate.”
Demi sent out a variety of tweets, one of them saying, ”I find it really funny how a company can lose one of their actress’ from the pressures of an EATING DISORDER and yet still make joke about that very disease….. #nice.”
Disney responded by saying, ”We hear you & are pulling both episodes as quickly as possible & reevaluating them … It’s NEVER our intention to make light of eating disorders!”

Just a few weeks ago, Demi made a video for her fans, explaining how they inspired her new tattoos. Now, Demi’s back and showing off her latest motivational tattoo.
Wednesday, Demi posted a photo on Twitter, writing “sometimes you just gotta have a little…” and then showed her new tat that says ‘faith’ in cursive writing.
This ties in nicely with Demi’s “stay strong” message on her wrists. It seems like Demi’s all about keeping positive now that she’s finished treatment and promoting a new, more mature album.
Demi Lovato tweeted that everyone should stop badmouthing the Kardashian sisters. She explained that she considers them good friends, and they are extremely genuine people.
“The Kardashian sisters are some of the REALEST, GENUINE girls I know,” she tweeted. “People need to leave them alone. Anyone who’s running their mouth is Just jealous. And by the way. They are SMART BUSINESS women too.. People don’t give them enough credit.”
YouTube star Michael Buckley replied to Demi’s tweet, saying, “They signed up for a reality show and live very publicly. We have the right to simply not like them,” Lovato said people have the right to not be Kardashian fans, but they shouldn’t judge.
“You have the right to not like them, not the right to pretend like you know them honey. #PERIOD,” she wrote.
It seems Demi gets very protective over her friends – even more reason to like her.
For a 19-year-old, Demi Lovato sure shows how strong she really is.
Take, for instance, the moment she accidentally ripped off some of her fake hair on stage. Ocean Up posted the video of the singer in Missouri. During “All Night Long”, the singer’s hands got caught in her long, wavey hair, causing her to pull out some extensions.
If you’re a dude and can’t imagine how painful it must be to rip off extentions sewn into your head, ask somebody to simply kick you in the balls. It’s kind of like that. Demi’s a real trooper for continuing on with the song, as if nothing happened. She may be crying on the inside, but fans just saw a happy, dancing girl on the outside.

Hot off their win as Best New Group at the American Music Awards this weekend, a demo of the Hot Chelle Rae collaboration with Demi Lovato has leaked.
The Nashville poprockers hooked up with the Disney star for a song on their upcoming album to be released next week. Perez Hilton posted the leaked song on his site. It’s not the best quality but if you’re a diehard fan of either Demi or Rae you’ll want to listen to this as soon as possible.

Demi Lovato is sure making Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera look like chumps as she does a sweet rendition of their hit “Moves Like Jagger”.
Demi spent last night in Detroit, Michigan and halfway through her set she performed this radio-friendly track. She was dressed like a Grecian goddess and backup dancers performed behind her.
Normally, singers go old-school with their cover selections but it’s refreshing to see Demi cover something very current and buzzworthy. Who knows, maybe Aguilera will return the favour and cover Demi’s song Skyscraper some day soon.

Wilmer is 12 years older than Demi which may not seem like a lot but given the fact that Demi’s hasn’t hit her twenties yet, he’s clearly robbing the cradle. The two haven’t publicly declared their love for each other yet. The only thing that has gone public are the photographs taken of the pair kissing occasionally.
I personally don’t believe in the bouquet superstition and Demi doesn’t strike me as a traditional girl. At 19, with her career on the rise, I doubt she’d pass that all up to marry her current fling.

The singer who’s rumoured to be the girlfriend of a much older Wilmer Valderrama, wore a pink, plunging Roland Mouret gown at the award ceremony.
E! reports her unofficial boyfriend was also in attendance and avoided any questions on the red carpet about Demi. What a slick guy!
What’s also slick is how well Demi pulls this dress off. Sure, some may think a 19-year-old shouldn’t be wearing dresses this low-cut or making out with guys over 30 (which Wilmer is), but she’s gone through a lot and has shown she’s very mature for her age. So, Demi should wear whatever she wants. With her makeup and hair looking the way it is, Demi looks like a classic Hollywood beauty.
Demi Lovato decided to try something new with her hair by going red. ”Changing my hair color today…. ” she tweeted. “Red hurr she don’t curr…”
The change in hair color is all part of her reinvention as she enters this new chapter of her life. It has been almost a year since she left The Jonas Brothers Tour and checked into rehab.
“I feel like I’m a totally different person today, and I’ve grown up a lot, and I’ve overcome a lot, so I’m excited about where I am in my life today,” she told MTV News. “I have days where I’m cranky, but I definitely want to be there for my fans and step outside and shake their hands and be there for them too, because I’m now a role model, and I want to be there for them.”
