Oksana Grigorieva Takes on Debt to Take Down Mel Gibson

Going after Mel Gibson is apparently becoming quite expensive for Oksana Grigorieva, reports TMZ. It’s being reported that Oksana has taken out a loan to pay the price tag that comes with her lawyers.

Sources close to Oksana say that apart from the loan her credit cards have also been maxed out in order to cover the costs to fight Gibson’s legal team, which includes a whopping three law firms. Gibson also isn’t giving her any more than he has to—only paying $5,000 a month for child support.

Unless she’s got some more tapes to extort some cash out of Gibson, it’s hard to say how Oksana is going to pay her bills after all is said and done!

New James Bond Movie ’23′ Put On Hold Indefinitely

Production on the new James Bond movie, Bond 23, has been suspended indefinitely, according to NME.com.

The Bond franchise’s home studio, MGM, has been under speculation for quite some time now due to large amounts of debt. The studio was expected either to sell or restructure to rid itself of debt, but so far neither has happened. As a result, Eon Productions has suspended development on the new Bond film.

“Due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding the future of MGM and the failure to close a sale of the studio, we have suspended development of Bond 23 indefinitely,” Eon Productions producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said in a statement. They added that they “do not know when development will resume and do not have a date for the release of the film.”

The new Bond film, a sequel to Quantum of Solace with Daniel Craig returning as 007, had already been the subject of a scandal when screenwriter Peter Morgan (Frost/Nixon, The Queen) reportedly quit the project after Oscar-winner Sam Mendes was hired on to direct.

Joe Francis Threatened By Steve Wynn Over Gambling Debt

It’s funny when rich guys get in fights. Especially when the fight is over a $2,000,000 gambling debt.

“Girls Gone Wild” tycoon Joe Francis told a judge today that he fears for his life, reports TMZ. “Mr. Wynn has threatened to kill me … He said he would hit me in the back of the head with a shovel and bury me in the desert.” Francis alleges that casino owner Steve Wynn has made threats against Francis over an unpaid debt.

Francis lost a $2,000,000 judgement to Wynn after Francis had a bad streak in one of Wynn’s hotels and didn’t pay up. Wynn’s lawyers hauled Francis to court today for him to reveal where he’s hiding his money.

Michael Jackson Estate Owes Millions to Creditors

Will the Michael Jackson saga ever end? Well it won’t end until Michael Jackson’s debts are all paid up. TMZ has done some digging and a group of creditors are claiming they are owed $20 million.

Sources tell TMZ the creditors come from a variety of different groups. The claims include $5 million from a memorabilia collector, $1 million from someone who wants a cut of the “Thriller” music video, a $2.3 million claim from Dr. Tohme Tohme and a $1.5 million claim from a law firm (there are a number of other law firms that want a piece of the estate). Although all these cases need to be presented to a judge, we can guarantee you another group of lawyers will be making a fortune figuring this all out!

Nicolas Cage Sued – Again!

After he has reported financial ruin, another group has got in line to sue Nicolas Cage. According to PEOPLE.com, this time it’s a real estate company that claims Cage owes $5 million in unpaid loans. Attorneys for Red Curb Investments allege that Cage, his accountant, and a mortgage broker defrauded the Company by not properly disclosing Cage’s true financial picture, including $6.3 million owed to the IRS.

Cage’s attorney claims Nicolas did nothing wrong, and his former accountant is responsible for Nicolas’ current financial devastation. The accountant is claiming that Cage’s finances are due to the actor’s reckless spending.

Pam Anderson Denies Debt Rumours

Former Baywatchstar Pamela Anderson is denying reports that she has gone bankrupt, reports TMZ. An article, which Anderson claims is false, says she is allegedly in debt to the tune of some $1.2 million.

“It is true that I am in a dispute with some of the contractors working on my home,” she said. ”This is because after paying millions of dollars to build the house, I continue to get bills from the contractors. My lawyers are reviewing the work done to see if the bills are fair. If they are, they’ll be paid. If they aren’t, they won’t be. Mistakes have been made in calculating taxes owed and we are now in the process of ensuring that any taxes owed are paid.”

Lindsay Lohan Owes for Cars

Dennis DeSantis is claiming he will resort to legal action if Lindsay Lohan doesn’t pay the $12,310 she allegedly owes him, reports Perez Hilton.

Lohan racked up the bill renting various luxury cars from DeSantis’s company, Specialty Car Craft, in May. The fee for renting the cars is $10,260, while an extra $2,050 was added for detailing and towing required by the vehicles Lohan rented.

Lohan has not commented on whether the claims are legitimate or if she plans to pay DeSantis, who directs pornography films on the side.
