Cristiano Ronaldo, 24, who plays for Real Madrid and the Portuguese national team, is replacing Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder Beckham, 34, as the face of Emporio Armani men’s underwear, reports E! News.

Posh Not On Board for Spice Girls Come Back

The Spice Girls are reuniting for a full-scale comeback, reports Perez Hilton, but Victoria Beckham, known to fans as Posh Spice, will not be joining her former bandmates in their efforts, saying she doesn’t have the “time or desire” to resurrect the pop group.

Sources say Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Mel C. plan to be on the road in a year’s time.

Bunton is reportedly still not sold on rejoining the group, either. “Emma is being cautious, but the minute she’s with the girls, they’ll talk her ’round,” said a source close to the band.

The girls are reportedly not worried about being able to cope without Beckham, who is married to soccer star David Beckham of the Los Angeles Galaxy. “When Geri left the first time, she was arguably the band’s biggest star. If they coped without her, they are confident they can make it work without Posh,” said the source.

Team Beckham VS. Paparazzi

On Sunday, British soccer player, David Beckham engaged in a confrontation with the paparazzi after having his car pursued by photographers.

Ironically, the fight broke loose in front of a Beverly Hills police station.

It started after a disapproving Beckham approached the car that had been following his own demanding that the driver come out to speak to him. Moments later, when the driver refused, one of Beckham’s bodyguards made his way to the passenger seat of the offending vehicle and began swinging away.

“Once the bodyguards and the paparazzi started fighting David ran back to the car and he and Victoria drove off…The cops finally came and broke it up,” said an eyewitness to E! News.

Authorities confiscated a video of the fight – taken by one of the photographers – as evidence and questioned two of the bodyguards but no arrests were made.

A photographer involved in the fight said to E! News representative, “They just can’t do this. They put me on the floor, they got my camera and they threw it in the trash can. They can’t do this to us.”

The only statement released by the authorities was made by the Beverly Hills Police Department Sgt. Gregg Mader stating, “We took a report at the scene, but no one was taken into custody or cited, we’ll review what we have to see if further action needs to be taken.”

Beckhams’ Lives Turned Into Comedy Musical

It’s soccer meets Shakespeare, as a comedy musical loosely based on the lives of David and Victoria Beckham is set to hit the stage in Ireland.

“MacBecks” is described by its director Ronan Smith as a “wild comedy romp that borrows from Shakespeare’s Macbeth, King Lear, Romeo and Juliet, as well as Cyrano de Bergerac.”

The satire from Long Road Productions will feature Victoria as an ambitious and ruthless Lady MacBeth for whom her husband sacrifices his career.

Other real-life characters appearing in the play include Sir Alex Ferguson, David’s former Manchester United manager, and Rebecca Loos, the soccer star’s ex-assistant who claimed to have had an affair with him in 2004.

The production was penned by Gary Cooke and Malachy McKenna, who previously acted in a spoof titled “I Keano” about soccer player Roy Keane’s infamous departure from the Irish World Cup squad in 2002.

“MacBecks” is slated to open January 2009 at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre.

Most women would not hesitate if they had the chance to kiss David Beckham, however Victoria Beckham is forced to think twice before smooching her soccer star husband.

According to gossip site PerezHilton.com, David Beckham is reportedly suffering from an outbreak of bad breath the smells like fish. Mr. Beckham is said to be taking two Go3 fish oil pills, which he takes every morning to boost his energy.

“Becks is the spokesperson for Go3 — he even appears on the box — so he has to take it despite the consequences,” a source tells “Star” magazine.

But does the product even work?

“He really believes in the product. He says it gives him more energy,” says the source.

David Beckham Reveals New Tat

British soccer stud and underwear model David Beckham revealed a hot new tattoo on Sunday.

Fans were puzzled as to the meaning of the ink scrawled down his left side. Beckham’s rep revealed to PageSix.com that “The tattoo is written in traditional Mandarin Chinese and is an old Chinese proverb that says: ‘Death and life have determined appointments, Riches and honors depends upon heaven.’ David got the tattoo while the L.A. Galaxy were in Hong Kong for their pre-season tour of Asia.”

Beckham and his Spice Girls wife Victoria have several tattoos, and have even been inked together.

Beckham wrote about the meaning behind his tattoos in his book, “David Beckham: Both Feet On the Ground.” “Mine are all about the people in my life, my wife and sons, who I want to have with me always,” he said. “When you see me, you see the tattoos. You see an expression of how I feel about Victoria and the boys. They’re part of me.”

Soccer superstar DAVID BECKHAM confronted a potential love rival on air last week (31Aug07) when he challenged Los Angeles DJ RYAN SEACREST over a letter he penned to his wife VICTORIA.

The sports hunk appeared on Seacrest’s breakfast radio show on Friday
(31Aug07) and told the DJ he knew all about his plans to steal the Spice Girls star away for a weekend.

Seacrest, who also hosts TV talent show American Idol, confessed, “I have a crush on your wife,” prompting Beckham to remark, “I heard that. You offered to take her away for a few days… That’s nice.”

Seacrest went on to explain, “I felt that you are in a very difficult
profession and you need your rest… and you might need time alone just to
focus and rehabilitate.

“I would be willing to step in and donate my time and services to Victoria.”

Good-natured Beckham laughed and said, “I’m sure you would,” adding he had read a letter Seacrest had sent to his wife: “I would have done the same in your position, don’t worry.” (KL/WNVR)

Posh Spice Victoria Beckham arrived in Los Angeles on Saturday, just two days after her husband David stunned the soccer world by announcing he had signed to play for Major League Soccer team LA Galaxy.

The former pop star-turned-fashion icon is reportedly on the hunt for Hollywood movie roles, but Spanish reports suggest the ex-Spice Girls star is in negotiations to start a new clothing line with Jennifer Lopez.

Los Angeles paparazzi swarmed as Beckham arrived at Los Angeles International Airport aboard a British Airways flight from London, giving the pop star a taste of what life will be like for her and her family in Los Angeles.

Beckham made a hasty escape from the terminal in a black sport utility vehicle.

The “Wannabe” singer will spend a few days in California, attending business meetings and house hunting, according to sources. The couple and their three children are expected to arrive in Los Angeles to start their new life in August.

Beckham Calls On Cruise For Hollywood Advice

Soccer superstar DAVID BECKHAM turned to pal TOM CRUISE to make sure he’d made the right decision to sign up for life in Hollywood.

The English sports hero stunned fans on Thursday when he announced he’d signed a five-year $250 million contract to play for America’s Major League Soccer team the LA Galaxy.

And he has been calling Cruise, who invited Beckham and his wife VICTORIA to his Italian wedding last year, to get advice.

Speaking via satellite from his current home in Spain at a hastily organised press conference last Friday, the former England soccer captain said, “I was on the phone to him for about an hour last night and then an hour the night before.

“I asked him for his advice… because he’s a very wise man, he’s a very good friend of mine… He couldn’t speak any higher than what he was saying about LA and that’s gonna be a big help for us, to have friends actually when we arrive in LA.”

Cruise was one of the first people to find out about his pal’s move to the US.

Beckham adds, “I phoned him and said there might be an announcement.”

David Beckham Sells Phones in Japan

Soccer star David Beckham stopped by Japan on Friday to promote Motorola’s hot new cell phone the MOTORAZR. Beckham touched down to officially launch sales of the phone.

First, he hawked the phone on Fuji-TV’s highly-rated Best Moments in Sports 2006 program with Japanese sportscaster Tomoaki Ogura. Not only did Beckham show off the phone’s three colours, he also gave viewers a look at a customized “MOTORAZR tattoo keitei by David Beckham” that will be auctioned off online to raise money for UNICEF.

Afterwards, Beckham hosted a MOTORAZR fashion show at the Roppongi Hills Arena where fans were treated to Beckham-approved MOTORAZR prizes and giveaways.

Finally, he made a stop in the Shibuya shopping district for Motorola’s “Touch and Try” event and told the crowd, “one of the great things about my job is that I get to travel all around the world, and wherever I go, you can be sure of one thing – the people who are really stylish carry a MOTORAZR.

“The Japanese people are some of the most stylish in the world, and you’ve proven it by making MOTORAZR the number-one seller,” Beckham said.

MOTORAZR has been on sale in Japan for two weeks, and is in available in pink, black, and silver.
