When Vine first debuted, most people’s first reaction was “well, gifs with sound – whats so special about that?”
People like Darren Criss and Tyra Banks have shown us that Vine can actually be great in the right hands. While Tyra Banks’ Vine is straight up entertaining, Darren Criss’ Vine is adorable and is bound to make you smile.
The fact that Darren is so active with Vine is ironic considering the actor doesn’t tweet often – I don’t know why though, it’s not like he’s busy or anything. Oh…right…Glee, Starkid, music…Okay, maybe he’s a little too busy for Twitter. Or way too busy.
Still, although his life is hectic, Darren is kind enough to tweet Vine videos for all his fans and they are all great. They will make you laugh, smile, and sometimes question Darren (tsk, tsk snoring on set).
Ryan Murphy, we have a situation in the auditorium: we have lost Blaine. I repeat, Blaine is asleep.

His Vines also give you a taste of what it’s like on the Glee set as the cast goofs off between takes. Many familliar faces make appearances in his videos, and Kevin McHale even does a little jig! Darren’s Vine shows us that he really is as much as a goof as we all thought, but we love him for it because normal is WAY over-rated. His dedication to Vine is a beautiful one.
Note: if you play these vines on a loop while being on another tab, you will hear: snoring, random noises, and singing.

If that’s not incentive to go look at all of Darren’s Vines, I don’t know what is. Oh no, wait. He’s Harry Freaking’ Potter. That should be all the proof you need.

Showing everyone just how adorable he is (like he really needed to prove that to anyone…), Darren Criss sings all of our of favourite 90′s themes.
This is almost flawless, except for the fact that he can’t remember the theme for The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
How could you Darren?! Everyone knows that one.
We as a public talk a lot about how perfect (or imperfect) a celebrity’s hair, body, skin or style is. As weird as it is, we don’t often talk about people’s eyebrows.
This makes sense considering the eyebrows are secondary to the eyes – who really pays attention to eyebrows anyways? As long as you don’t have a unibrow, you are generally good.
However, this does not mean eyebrows are not important – the people with awesome eyebrows deserve to be noticed. Eyebrows really have the potential to frame or compliment a face. It could also make you some money, especially if you’re NBA player Anthony Davis who trademarked his famous unibrow.
What makes a good set of eyebrows, you wonder? Well, thickness, neatness, and general shape. So who has some beautiful eyebrows to lust after?

Glee star Darren Criss made an exciting announcement Tuesday morning. The actor will be travelling to 16 cities this summer for his “Listen Up” tour. Criss will make stops in San Francisco, New York, and Toronto, amongst other cities.
The star tweeted his full list of tour dates and cities:
I’m proud to say, I’m going on tour this Summer!!! Full band. New music. Old music. Let’s do this. … say.ly/NbH5F06
— Darren Criss (@DarrenCriss) April 23, 2013
Criss has played at numerous clubs and events, but this will mark his first ever solo tour. He has also teased that an upcoming solo album is also in the works. It’s a lot for Criss and his fans to get excited about.
Asides from the numerous and well-received covers he’s done for Glee, Criss already has an EP titled Human under his belt. He has also written music for his musical theatre company, Starkid, which he helped found while in university with friends. In addition, he told his fans in an exclusive video that he has old music and new music ready for the summer. With his long repertoire, he has a lot of material to choose from when building his set list for his “Listen Up” tour.
Since a set-list has yet to be released, we thought we’d help Criss out and decide what songs we want to hear this summer!
DREAM “LISTEN UP” SET LIST:
Part of Your World
Before Criss’ career took off with Glee, he was a curly haired young man who spent his time singing Disney songs. This Little Mermaid song is his staple, and he’s performed it at almost all of his concerts. It seems only natural that he would kick off his concert with this tune, as both he and his fans have such a special connection to it.
New Song
After performing a song that the audience knows and loves, it would be the perfect chance for Criss to showcase one of his new songs from his upcoming album. An upbeat song would be perfect, because that would get the audience pumped for his new record.
Against All Odds
While Criss tends to perform his own acoustic arrangement of “Teenage Dream,” he can change it up this time around. While the Katy Perry song marked the beginning of his wild ride on Glee, the Phil Collins song he performed during the current season would make a statement. Wrapping up the show’s fourth season, he’s embarking on a new chapter in his life. This song seems fitting as Criss is about to embark on his first solo tour.
Back To Black (Amy Winehouse cover)
From Time Magazine to cat food commercials, Grumpy Cat is everywhere now a days. And with fame, comes dozens of imitators. Just look at Anderson Cooper’s attempt:

It’s one thing to frown, but the ability to replicate a “U” shape frown a la Grumpy Cat is a special talent. Here are five people who actually do look like Grumpy Cat:
1. Nick Miller (Jake Johnson) from New Girl

2. Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) from The Office
3. Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss) from Glee Read more…
This Thursday Glee goes “Diva,” when the students at McKinley duke it out to see who’s the biggest diva, and Kurt and Rachel in New York start fighting. We get to see a huge production number with “Diva” and get nostalgic about old school Hummelberry back when they hated eachother when the duet/ diva-off with “Bring Him Home.” This is definitely a very diverse episode when it comes to music. “Diva” is jam packed with pop, classic rock, broadway tunes, top 40, and more.
Take a listen to the best 5 songs below
Hung Up – Tina
Tina has been quite the diva lately, so I’m not surprised she has taken on Madonna. Jenna Ushkowitz is severyly underrated. Her voice is so great and she is a great performer. This may be my favourite Tina performance since “Bad Romance.”
Scene Prediction: She’s hung up on Blaine. Get in line Tina. We all are.
Girl On Fire - Santana
Get ready Britana fans. Santana sings TWO songs, one of which she sings with Sam…some fighting over Britney I assume? Anyway, who else to do Alicia Keys but Naya Rivera? Always soulful, always perfect.
Scene Prediction: Santana regrets breaking up with Brittany and in true Glee fashion sings about her problems.
Don’t Stop Me Now – Blaine
Darren Criss can literally sing anything. Beyonce, Katy Perry, and now the iconic Queen. Blaine has been having some issues between his break up and exceedingly confusing crush on Sam, so it makes sense Blaine is trying to get himself back in lin. We all know Blaine is a sassy woman who doesn’t need a man. For further proof go watch “Fighter” or “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay.”
Scene prediction: In his performance to prove he is a “diva” Blaine gets some emotional closure.

You’ve know you’ve officially made it as an artist when the cast of Glee start covering your music. And for Korean superstar Psy, that is exactly what’s happening.
In a teaser video released for an upcoming episode of Glee, the clip shows actors Kevin McHale, Darren Criss and Jenna Ushkowitz treating fans with a clip of the cast rehearsing the ‘Gangnam Style’ dance. But as exciting this may seem for gleeks around the world, the cynic in me couldn’t help but wonder how it’s going to work.
While I’m sure the cast will get the dance covered, what about the lyrics?
With Criss and McHale struggling to come up with a suitable nickname for Glee’s cover of ‘Gangnam Style’ (‘Gleengham style?!’), I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t worried.
Spoiler aside, our hearts broke last Thursday when Glee favourites Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) broke up after Blaine admitted to cheating when he felt lonely and hurt.
But while it may all seem like bad news in this fandom, Criss insists that there is some good out of the sad storyline. In fact, he wants to thank the fans.
In a heartfelt letter posted on his Facebook page, Criss expressed his appreciation at how much support he got for playing one of the show’s breakout stars. Letting us in on his early days of singing in cafes and open mic nights, he said being cast on Glee changed his life.
In fact, he says he owes much of this success to social media.
“We live in an unprecedented age of social connectivity, and I am happy to say that none of you have failed to take full advantage of that. Don’t think I’m not aware of how active the fandom is, or how much impact it has,” he wrote. “Remember: Not only am I fan myself, but I do have an internet connection. I see the gifs, I see the fanfics, I see the memes, and it’s all amazing stuff. Though I haven’t met the majority of you, it’s a real thrill to know that many of your lives have come together on behalf of mine.”
What’s even more humbling about this letter, is the fact that Criss revealed that a certain Katy Perry song was covered once more to thank his supporters.
So sweet and down to earth. There’s honestly nothing better than an beautiful encore performance.
Welcome to our new favourite Tumblr account called The Kawaii Project. What does kawaii mean exactly? It’s the quality of cuteness in Japanese culture. Despite their best attempts to make these celebrities cute, I’m more inclined to say they’re absolutely TERRIFYING. Especially Kanye West, above. What do you think?

Glee is my secret guilty pleasure. From the show’s addictive storylines to the cast’s ever-so-catchy covers, I just have to keep tuning into the show over and over again to see what happens next.
So in anticipation of the show’s fourth season (which begins on Sept. 13), a mash-up sung by the cast features the likes of Britney Spears and Justin Bieber!!
Singing Spears’ ‘Boys’ and Bieber’s ‘Boyfriend’ , the song will surely be a hit with the ladies as heartthrobs Darren Criss and Kevin McHale can be heard singing and evidently, melting all of our hearts.
Even though I’ve stopped watching Glee (shh… I read the recaps), I do love Darren Criss, his classy style and of course, their covers in general.
Apparently, they’ve been covering so much more music that they’ve actually had to cut some musical numbers out of the episodes. Showrunner Ryan Murphy has thankfully been uploading some deleted scenes so we don’t have to wait until the DVDs drop to watch them all.
In this clip, The Warblers cover The Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back” without Criss’ Blaine. It’s a pretty good number but too bad the new Warbler frontman Sebastian had to ruin it all at the end. The fancy haircut gets all sassy which prompts the Queen of Sass, Santana to throw it right back.
Just wait until the very end to see why I’m not going to be able to stop associating Glee’s Sebastian with the Little Mermaid’s Prince Eric.
While menswear trends rarely change, it’s surprising how difficult dressing up can be. The wrong cut or fit will make a look sloppy. Luckily, it’s all about the basics for men. Here are a few tips and tricks to make sure you’re looking just as sharp as your date.
Buy a suit
If the dress code allows it, ditch the tux and opt for a suit. While the tux is the go-to for formal occasions, a suit’s versatility will make the investment worthwhile. By buying a suit in a neutral colour (such as black, gray or a deep navy), you can wear it to multiple occasions, such as your cousin’s wedding, your first big job interview, etc.
Make sure your suit fits
There’s nothing worse than seeing a young man in a ill-fitting suit. A suit is all about proportions, and when it fits, it should make you look taller and leaner, not like you’re swimming in fabric. A great suit jacket should fit close to the body when buttoned up. If you feel like moving will cause the seams to split, then it’s too tight. If you feel like you can play basketball in it, it’s too big.
Also, keep the shoulders in check. A suit jacket’s shoulder pads should hit your shoulders, not beyond. Make sure the jacket’s length works for you. The sleeves end where your wrist meets the base of your thumb and the bottom of your jacket meets your knuckles. Look at red carpet photos of celebrities that have builds similar to yours. Study them and see how the widths of their lapels and ties work with their size. Last, go for slim pants (not skinny) that are hemmed to prevent fabric pooling around your shoes.
Avoid square-toed shoes
Don’t ruin all the hard work you put in finding a suit that fits with square-toed shoes. These shoes ruin the lean, slender silhouette a great suit creates. Opt for a shoe that tapers off more gently at the toe.
FOR THE MORE ADVENTUROUS…
Shawl collar

If you feel you can afford to make this investment, try a shawl collar tuxedo or dinner jacket. The look is classy and will keep you from looking like everyone else.

Bow ties

If you’re a Doctor Who fan, then you know bow ties are cool. Keep it classic with the black bow tie, or try out some patterned ones. Don’t buy a clip on. Man up and find a YouTube tutorial and learn how to tie one.

Cooper Anderson’s horrible audition tape for Transformers has finally been leaked and it’s just as horrible as I hoped. If you missed this week’s episode of Glee, Matt Bomer guest starred as conceited actor Cooper Anderson, who is also Blaine’s older rival brother.
On Glee, Cooper Anderson’s audition for Transformers was cancelled at the last minute because the producers decided to go in another direction (read: they found someone who doesn’t have acting skills on par with Joey on Friends). Now, we finally get to see the hypothetical audition tape for the role and it includes a cameo from Darren Criss (Blaine).
It also proves that Matt Bomer is ridiculously good looking along with being funny. That is so unfair.
As the first note of “Don’t Stop Believing” echoed throughout the Air Canada Centre at 9:00 p.m. on June 12, 2011, in Toronto, Ont., the crowd of Gleeks, young and old alike let themselves get lost in the music, letting out a unanimous shriek of delight. Red foam loser finger at the ready, everyone began dancing as Corey Monteith and Lea Michele kicked of what would be one hour and twenty five minutes of Glee heaven, full of songbirds, ballads, and duets…I mean, duvets – according to Britney S. Pierce, anyway.
Throughout every song, the vocals of each cast member were flawless – it is next to impossible to single out any of them as the greatest performer of the night. What was most impressive was how many songs they fit into such a short amount of time! They covered most of the favourites – although I would have liked a song or two from Wicked, but you can’t be too picky! – paying homage to all the little details from the show that the fans hold so dear to their hearts, from the costumes, the classroom, and the dance moves, right down to good ol’ “Trouty Mouth”.
Although Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch were not there in person, their lack of attendance was made up by a series of videos the two filmed beforehand, where they are talking to the audience or the cast themselves, giving advice or just being plain ol’ Sue Sylvester and getting the Cheerios to hand out barf bags to the audience before the concert started.
It was especially nice to see the cast being so interactive with the audience. There was a little stage set up at the other end of the floor section, and the cast switched back and forth regularly from there to the main stage so everyone had a good view. As well, they would walk through the audience to get from one stage to another, singing into peoples cameras and shaking hands as they went along.
The Warblers got their time to shine as well, with a three-song set in the middle of the show. Heather Morris, a.k.a. Britney, even hit on “Blaine Warbler”, asking him to make out with her in front of the whole audience, and was answered by a charming and sassy Chris Colfer with a, “Britney, are you flirting with my man in Toronto?!” Chris, a-la Kurt Hummel, then went on to make a “deep proposal” to Blaine in honour of Lake Ontario being the deepest of the Great Lakes, asking him to join the Glee club – which Darren Criss then did, for all the encore songs that New Directions sang.
Over all, the concert was extremely entertaining and mistake free aside from the one time Chris dropped his microphone in the middle of a song. Heather did Britney Spears justice by giving a performance that made the audience second guess if they weren’t actually watching Britney Spears on stage right then and there. When Amber Riley sang “Ain’t No Way,” her flawless vocals that rang through the darkness, a single spotlight only on her, were accompanied by the constant camera flashes all around the arena as if a hundred fireflies were circling her, making the performance truly magical. And when Ashley Fink as Lauren Zizes told Mark Salling (Noah “Puck” Puckerman) to “Get over here,” during “Fat Bottomed Girls,” every girl in the audience wished they were her.
While being as unbiased as possible, I have to say that this was one of the greatest concerts I have been to, vocally and entertainment-wise – the only criticism I have was that it ended way too soon after it began. I give it a four and a half stars out of five – good job Glee club!
Set List:
There’s been much buzz on the internet surrounding Glee’s biggest midseason spoiler – that one of the openly gay characters on the show may not be so gay after all.
Perez Hilton has revealed that the character of Blaine, an openly gay senior played by Darren Criss, is going to have “an encounter with a pivotal member of the opposite gender [in an upcoming episode] … afterwards, he’s forced to consider the possibility that he swings both ways,” according to numerous sources.
If this is true, the show’s decision is a highly contentious one. Darren Criss, who is straight in real life, has caught the attention of many female fans this season and is considered a heartthrob amongst the Glee fan community. Many are accusing Glee writers of making Blaine bi simply to cater to and profit off of Darren’s large female fanbase.
We for one see this as a huge cop-out and a MASSIVE money grab! Blaine is a very confident and self-assured gay boy and it’s been suggested that he has quite a bit of experience under his belt – it doesn’t seem in his character to make him fool around at this point. Though Glee is such a poorly written show in the first place and creator Ryan Murphy is such a massive douchenozzle that it really doesn’t surprise us.
This was the final straw for us. We’re thinking (read:hoping) that Glee’s episodes are numbered at this point.
